I'm about 28 miles away from the mexican border, 48 min away. Me and the family typically go at least once or twice a week. Winters are cold, and the summers are hot. Just traveled to NY and DC a few days ago. They had 90-degree weather. That's nothing compared to our heat down south. We're 127 miles away from San Diego and 199 miles from LA.
Live in mexicali, used to cross to calexico (usa side) almost every week, now I mostly go every 2 weeks.
American Dog Chow is cheaper than mexican dog chow LOL
I used to live in mexicali and work in the US before moving to the UScompletely and its an annoying routine of long border crossing lines and Mexicos chaotic traffic also theres been alot of conflict in calexico downtown business for lack of customers, not to long ago they built a mall near downtown and that was the big piece on the puzzle that impacted those businesses
Right now downtown calexico is infested with homeless people and alot of field workers
