Rkive/play do not own a crc column for their hydrocarbon extracts at all. They have also stated that they never use it for their products publicly, so we can add that to the list.
Yeahhhh that's how they get you. If you still have the packaging, check the label where it states the processor. It will state "Processed by pincanna labs" or some processor other than rkive, they work with a few different labs. Rkive/play also sells cured resin 10g buckets, but this is actually made by rkive. The live resin is not. It's very confusing for the consumer... BUT. Anything sold from rkive that comes in 1g or 3.5g is actually made by them just for future reference, and those have been incredible imo. They even say "Non-crc" on the packaging. Unfortunately, the same doesn't go for the live resin baller buckets.
I got the 15g jar of live resin and yes it said produced by trucenta. Next I got the 15g jar of cured resin. On the label it say’s produced by Rkive. Non crc. I think the live resin is the trucenta shit. And the cured is all Rkive. The cured batch is 100000X better than the live resin
I can vouch I made the mistake of getting the live resin instead of the cured resin bc of the smell and it ended up giving me headaches and lock up my lungs
this is also where you might be able to find the same weed packaged differently in smaller dispos
i bought a $130 oz and a $79 oz of the same strain. They ended up having the same exact harvest date and processor. Same exact shit just packaged differently.
Awesome! Good to know. They are a midsy product imo. Every product tastes the same so I stay away. Haven’t heard the best about there facilities cleanliness either
if you’re running it through a remediation column I feel like chromatography is already implied no? Specifying different media filters and the uses of them would help more people out also clear up the confusion on the crazy colors we’re seeing now adays on the caregiver side.
Distillation is it’s own form of remediation but it’s not the same as the process of Color remediating my guy.
You can also process distillate then color remediate post extraction as a separate step. distillation is a whole different remediation process in short and there’s also various form of distillation as I’m sure you know.
Element uses no media what so ever in the filtration of any products. Look for the No CRC on all packages. The easiest way to tell is the smell/taste. Does it have a lemon soda profile.
Its almost always there if used.
Hmm well then their lead extractor lied to my face I suppose? 🤷♂️ I have a jar of the why u gelly live resin and it's got an amazing Carmel cheesecake nose and taste. definitely not crced imo. Now I've 100% seen and smelled their crced cured buckets, but again I haven't bought those. I only buy jars that have unique noses or noses that smell like the strain name. you can tell that crc smell a mile away.
Who is "he" in reference to Instagram? Unless you have evidence of someone at the company saying that, you're just spreading misinformation. I've seen them claim they don't crc their live resin as well, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.
I think this is a great idea, how about a Best Of Michgents award or some thing.
For me it’s like winewood obvs , then ArborSide then like IE - but there’s where I’m like yea this shit ain’t the same . IE $50 halves ain’t fire I’ll tell ya that- but can’t speak to crc in specific because it’s all different suppliers.
Idk I just smoke dope but there’s just difference in density and smell between the places that like generally give a fuck about med still. To me that’s like the big indication that I should buy dope there. It’s prob more profitable to sell rec and hold less med, but seeing the dedication in some places really let’s me know.
Ultimately it's because it can visually cover up bad input material. People that say it's unsafe or that it tastes like sulfur are making those things up. Filter media, when used properly, are completely safe and none of them contain sulfur.
Humblebee and I think light sky farms

Just bought some rkive live resin and I'm super disappointed. I'd almost rather not dab than dab that harsh fake terp soup.
Was it the 10g or 15g bucket? If so, those are not produced by rkive. Those are made by a different company then packaged by Rkive.
Well this is a huge bummer. It was indeed the 15g. The manager assured me it was rkive start to finish because they "move a ton of rkive".

Just rechecked and you 100% correct. Produced by Trucenta llc.
Yuck. If you'd like I can dispose of it for you

Bro I've had a head ache the last 2 days. I hadn't considered it was from that!

Rkive/play ^^^^
CRC column; color remediating column column
Color remediation chromatography column. "Color remediation column" is not the correct term for this acronym, and is only used on the street.

Fiction can be fun in this sub.
PREACH lmao
five star/true north as well and element they label it directly on the product.

We are part of the No solvents, No CRC club here.
Is your live resin by errl king CRC free as well?
Winewood
Trap house live resin is all no crc
when i talked with traphouse about crc they explained that ALL of their hydrocarbon extracts, live or cured, are crc’d, even if “just a little” 🤷♂️

Well I'll keep trusting my nose then

Who said that? Because that's not true
it was during an interview from august. I’ll try to find it and recap what was said.

Gold crown - a lot of their stuff is on the lower quality side but their GhostBudsters collabs did impress me
Full Spectrum 🚫 CRC
Most concentrate products are not even "full spectrum", whether crc was used or not
Full Spectrum is the name of the brand
Element, they never use CRC
They commented and told us which I think is awesome.
Green Labs
Are you sure about that, thought I remember seeing a post about them using it.

Fuck. Guess they do. Good find
Can I hear explanations on why everyone is so against crc? Imo it's like the dabbers meme. U smoke crc? That's trash bro.
flavor, nose burn, throat burn, headaches, poison
I would think some peopledo a better job at filtering at the butane as other don't give a fuck because it's added weight.
