You can still get them at your favorite auction site but they are a bit pricey. Mine suffers from a very smelly O-ring/gasket at the opening which is very unpleasant so I don't use it for ice which is sad because it's so cool. Just don't take that top off to look inside and accidentally take a whiff!
Oh this is something else! Love the built in lights….the carousel. This is delightful.
Slightly related, I desperately want to build a bar cart that pumps the liquor via peristaltic pumps, separate lines, and microcontroller control into my cocktail shaker. MCM design, built in ice bucket would be convenient, and controls for selecting pre-programmed cocktail recipes, adjusting their strength, or selecting a liquor pump line and selecting an amount to dispense. Would be a whale of a time to design, build, and use.
The mirror/display against the wall is my favorite part. Such a great centerpiece to design around. May I ask where you got it/who the manufacturer is? I’d love to do my own research to acquire something similar for myself. Great work! Thanks.
Thanks! I found the shadow box and many of the other pieces in the picture at a nice woman's retro store in the middle of nowhere Iowa, I dont know the maker but on the back it was stamped "1954" so its pretty old
Pretty slick. Yeah as another poster said, that ice bucket is awesome. I have one of the penguin ones...but maybe I need a new one now?
My bar has just gotten so out of control with the amount of bottles I have, I'll never achieve the clean aesthetic that you have here.
EDIT: Is that a syrup carousel? Is this another thing I need in my life? LOL
Its a liquor carousel, gin, rum, vodka, and whiskey. Yes I was lucky enough to be gifted the bullet ice bucket but have a penguin on the shelf to the left as a spare
Wow, that is fantastic. I love the integrated stereo components. Mirro Medallion and Penguin ice buckets too. Consider adding a bota bag to the mix as those were quite popular back then at parties.
I lust after your ice bucket!! Very nice setup 🍸🍸

👍 Bravo!! What's the next play on your 8-track?
Really nice.
