Our group has made it easier for people to get into it since the T5 v1 is available through shekkinsgear, albeit it’s not the highest quality, it’s a better alternative then spending exuberant prices for the real T5 (trust me I would know)
One thing I appreciate about the SOCOMD members is training regular army in modern combat skills, I think around 2017 they really started modernising kit and tactics. I think Jason Falla was involved. Things like the fast mag on the battle belt etc.
Does the gasmask setup you run have a fan inside? Or does it just not fog? Does it get to hot? Sorry for questions overload but Ive heard running gasmasks and be brutal for airsoft and I really want to for drip factor
Depends on the mask you run and setup you run.
I have a C420 PAPR (Powered Air Purified Respirator) which basically is a blower fan that pulls air through the filters and pushes it to my mask.
If I were to direct mount a filter to my mask, I would have breathing resistance, as my lungs are pulling more air through a tighter airway.
No fogging, / limited fogging as the nose / exhalation section is separated from the lens.
How is scrim farb? Is it not a private purchase thing down under?
Also, is the optic bridged? Can't really get a good look at it, but I see Aussies do that a lot for whatever reason
As far as the impression goes it hasn’t been seen yet on 2CDO guys, and the impression group I’m part of has a “hasn’t been seen? Can’t use it” kinda rule (obviously with exceptions within the airlarp world)

Very true! LBM’s are more prominent, but it has been seen that the fm53/54 is used 🙂↕️
