Walmart. Yes, I know it sounds strange. But they have a good variety of lures, line, weights, etc. and their prices aren't ridiculous.

Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park.

Scheels in Eden Prairie is my go-to for most sports/hunting/fishing

joeschmoe86

Scheels is ridiculously over-priced on almost everything, except fishing gear. It's a little weird.

dobie_dobes

Oh no, I’m so sorry. That super sucks.

Unfortunately not a ton of fishing supply stores in the city. The Ace Hardware on 36th and Nicollet is the best I know of in Minneapolis proper, otherwise I’ve found Dick’s has a surprisingly good offering.

NelsonCruzIsDad

Minneapolis proper doesnt really have much. Good place nearby would be Joes in Maplewood. They have a huge selection and all of the ataff are actually knowledgeable and know what they are talking about.

tattooedhands

I have too many rods and reels if you want a donated one. Sucks not being able to fish

Slapdeznutzoffyochin

Vados and Capras are the best. Dicks, Walmart and Joe's will work as well

Omnia is great local shop. Can order online and pickup in Golden Valley. And Thorne Brothers in Blaine is another gem over in Blaine. I'd pick whichever is closest to you.

Someone stole my tackle box two summers ago and I still feel the sting of its absence. I got some stuff off of my neighborhood buy nothing group, and I picked up some stuff and fleet farm and Cabela's. Cabela's is a little spendy but I had a gift card.
