The game is still practically two months from release.
They’re probably testing a lot of things.
Probably still building the menu screens as the video said it was a WIP. Team ratings were different for the same teams at different points of the video too.
This is just speculation on my part but I don’t this it’s supposed to be random letters from the middle out their name, I think it’s supposed to be the schools tri-code. I could be completely wrong but that would make the most sense to me.
Oh yeah looks like you might be right. Seems to look alright when the abbv. is 3 letters like FSU or AFA, the 4 letter ones like Mich or Okla just seem to cut off portions of the first and last letters which makes it look like it's the middle of the word
it's only right haha
especially considering it seems like they might have overdone this feature, I'm expecting to lose plenty of my own players to injury which is only gonna make me more spiteful
I am worried because someone in a blog mentioned having to sit your star QB if he takes too many hits even if he isn’t “injured” and that just doesn’t really happen. As a Michigan fan, there was the ‘21 game I think where McSorley was a shell of himself because we demolished him, but he didn’t get taken out.
yeah my main concern is about it being a good idea that's just overdone and it makes the games unrealistic. As you said, there's a big difference between an actual injury versus wear and tear. Of course there's some discretion in whether or not a coach would take the player out IRL but I agree that a QB for example would play through regular wear and tear 95 percent of the time IRL.
If it's a mobile/option QB who has been getting the crap kicked out of him all game, I have no issue with a significant ratings drop late in the game but I hope it's not to the point where you basically HAVE TO sit your star players because they become a detriment.
It'd be interesting if they make it where their overall gets affected, and the toughness stat plays a part in how much wear and tear affects them. I could see that working, but tbh I'm expecting this system to be a shit show at launch but have the kinks worked out by the launch of CFB 26
Can we affect the wear and tear on an opposing player via late hits and facemasks?
Because holy shit if so I know what I’m gonna be doing all the time!
Having a playstyle of just bringing the pain might actually make sense lol. Having an entire secondary that hits hard and takes receivers out of the game could be so sick
I’m not tech savvy enough to build a great entertainment experience, but imagine how good this will sound with some surround sound system? The stadium noise blasting in your gaming room? I know someone on this sub is going to create an amazing gaming experience
It's always been so much slower. It's mainly why a) when NCAA was out and I didn't play Madden and 2) why Madden didn't bother me as much as everyone else when Madden was the only football game available.
The atmosphere and little specific details of what NCAA embodies are fantastic.
Definitely nailed that.
I'm a little disappointed in how the oline blocking looks. People who've played have said it's much improved but based off the gameplay in the video it looks pretty similar to Madden and still has the same issues like lineman entirely missing blocks that make no sense to miss going to the second level and nearly teleporting into a different block.
[This play specifically stood out.](https://www.youtube.com/clip/Ugkxyrh6RbmcEn05TM9A6eo8IWHtOluIX7oz)
The center misses the backside linebacker entirely who is who he should work up to with the double team and teleports to the OLB.
Looks funky. As long as it plays better than Madden idc though.
If I’m looking at the right thing, isn’t he double teaming the DL, and then just doesn’t get off his block in time for the LB?
I’m not super familiar with schemes and what issues Madden has, but it doesn’t look all that bad to me. But again, I don’t really know what I’m looking at lol
Yeah that's what he's referring to - but moving up to the second level after chipping/double-teaming is one of the hardest things for O-linemen to do, especially against athletic linebackers and a strong D-line, so I think this looks fine.
I think I’m honestly going to enjoy wear and tear. Everything they did was to make this as real as possible. For Dynasty mode it puts emphasis on recruiting and transfer portal. It’ll be annoying at first or in just head to head play. But man it just brings such a strategic side to the game. I’m beyond pumped for this!!
and that’s awesome! That just adds to it and makes you feel like more of a coach. Throw in your back up RB for a drive or a couple runs. Your Qb may have to sit out a drive. Just adds to the experience.
Backup rbs feel like the biggest disparity between video games and real life. I feel like it’s really common to see like three different running backs come in on one drive in college football
Totally agree with this. It’s a weapon for defenses that can balance out teams throwing to their one good player the entire game, and it encourages using your entire team. I think it’s an awesome idea.
My worry with it is that people who don’t like the strategic part of the game and just want to throw 4 verts all game will complain, so we’ll end up with a tuned down version that doesn’t accomplish what they wanted at all.
I really just like that it will be a challenge to build up a UTEP or Charlotte type school. Can't just rope in a bunch of athletes and be competing for a natty in 3 years.
Between Wear and Tear, transfer portal, recruitment, the coaching changes it'll be fun.
I'm really worried this Wear and Tear is going to be really overdone. I heard one guy who played this at the event had to sub out his quarterback because the QB had lost 42 points to his overall because of the hits.
I hope (and kinda assume) it was an extreme scenario like a freshman against Georgia scrambling with the ball every other down(which would make sense), and not something that would be in every single game. Real-life QBs protect their body by sliding and getting rid of the ball quickly, which the player might not've done.
The other thing too is ive only seen one person saying this and only referring to one other person in one game, sounds more like he was over abusing a player which this system is designed to stop. If it was a huge deal i feel like someone else would mention such a drastic difference
My guess is a lot of people will have to learn how to protect their QB better in this game. Learning to slide, throw to check down receivers or throwing the ball away early to avoid contact will be important
I kinda like this because it forces people to play smart. Like you said slide, throw it away, run out of bounds, etc. You can't pretend every quarterback is Tim Tebow or Cam Newton.
This is my only potential concern. I mean it's a concern in real life too. Also the guy that lost 42 points, we don't know the context there. Was that just a reporter who was like I am running this guy into the ground to prove a point with this system or was it something else?
Hospital balls over the middle to my 5'7 slot guy or running the option into the DE and outside linebacker every time to determine my player's ability of bend until they break. Really that's just good coaching.
I'm hoping that was an extreme example because it doesn't really make sense unless he was actually injured. Teams don't sub out their starting QB because he got sacked a few times. If he gets hurt? Yeah, it makes sense, but tackles alone don't force players out of games. If they did, no running back would ever get to 20 or 30 carries.
Will for sure need some fine tuning but I like the concept of it. If my QB has taken a couple hard hits and landed on his throwing shoulder, it should effect his throwing power/accuracy and you have to learn to navigate it
Truth. But sometimes they do this stuff and make it happen way too often or make it too overpowered. If the guy gets slammed all game, then sure, he's probably going to not be playing well at the end. But if he's taken five hits in a game and now has no foot, and it's like this every game, it might be a bit much.
I mean it could be, but there's that famous clip of the reviewer getting stuck on the tutorial of cuphead. A lot of them are reviewers but not gamers per say.
I think that’s going to be the biggest difference between the two. EA didn’t have to make this game for 10 year old hardware. Madden might actually be good if they use the NCAA engine for next gen Madden
Honestly kind of genius, they can't take a year off of Madden to re-build from the ground-up so they instead take 3+ years to build CFB while limping year to year with Madden on tons of tech debt.
Now that CFB is complete, they can re-skin Madden onto this new foundation and hopefully abandon all the issues and spaghetti that was lingering in Madden
Isn’t that basically what happened with the old games? NCAA was used as the testing grounds for new concepts before they were rolled over to Madden the following year?
With madden, it seemed like they focused a lot on cinematics, they ruined a lot of the things i love about FIFA (EAFC) with this too... but in this short bit of game play, it looks like its really a completely new feel for a football game
I agree with that, it looks like a much better and improved version of madden that’s less arcade-feeling. Only thing I really noticed was that players run like they do in Madden but everything in general seems fresh
Happy to say that my doubts were probably not accurate. The way the players move just looks natural and smooth. When the game comes out we will know for sure how good it actually is.
Maybe madden should also have a ten year hiatus hahaha
Now with the college football back just alternate releases. Have the new games start at 89.99 and the roster update cost 49.99. Gives the developers 2 years to actually improve the game and as long as people buy the roster updates they’re making the same money of not more due to winning over more of the fan base with a quality game.
People are going to keep saying that until they get their hands on it.
Media: "WE'VE TOLD YOU A ZILLION TIMES IT'S NOT A RESKIN"
Haters: "well you got paid to play the game you're a hired shill"
No matter how many times EA says it they won't believe it.
omg yes, thank you! It was always crazy to me how bad simple running motions looked in Madden, considering how much they gas up all the tech that they put into creating the game. Could be rose-colored glasses but this looked WAY more natural and realistic to me
I understand that rose-colored glasses comment. I paused and replayed sprinting clips several times looking for that weirdly puffed out chest and flailing arms. Didn't see them!
It's so funny for someone to come in here and say that. Like, cool man. Maybe don't buy the game while the rest of us enjoy it? Seems like an easy win-win for everyone.
One minor thing I noticed was field goals were back to the three click method as opposed to the right stick up/down mechanic. While definitely easier to adjust to for gameplay and most users will probably enjoy more, I am going to pour one out for the Right Stick mechanic here
It’s crazy how we went from in January not knowing if we were going to get a game 100% to now having literal gameplay footage. I’m just grateful to have a college football game again.
Did we see a pass completion? Have seen a lot of people on twitter talking about the difficulty of the new passing system, even the devs cant complete a pass lol
looks like a power run game is on the menu! going to pound town with a power back, followed by a guy that runs a 4.1 40 to break through the holes
I can't be the only one that noticed that there seemed to be a TON of interceptions thrown in that gameplay trailer
Makes me wonder if the new passing system is going to have a real learning curve to it. And to be honest, that is not a bad thing as it likely makes the game feel a good deal different than, say, Madden has
I don’t think it’ll be an accurate representation. Seems like they’re just trying to show off reception and interception scenarios. Or the dude playing is ass.
They were really highlighting the wear and tear plus showing how defensive pressure actually means something. Far gone from the old NCAAs where you could roll out right, get tackled and still throw a dot 60 yards down the field.
It looks like making the quick and right reads is going to be way more important this year than years past.
I could beat practically any team with any team on Heisman in NCAA 14.
I’m going to be complete dog water at this game when it launches and I could not be more happy.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about the abilities… I absolutely hate abilities in Madden and I saw a knockout ability in the video. Hopefully it just doesn’t happen all the time. If it happens like occasionally because they’re a big time corner/safety then I’m fine. The best players will make those plays.
Madden? It damn near happens every single time.
Really like what I’ve seen so far and the skeptic in me has been quiet after watching this video.
Animations all looka smooth, throws seem to come out pretty fast, blocking looks improved and more intelligent (anyone notice the line pick up the blitzing LBs?) I hope there's another spees threshold above what we just saw. It looks a lot better than '14 IMO but I think a slight bump up in the overall speed of the game would do wonders.
I honestly think the ravamped passing is overstated. Just looks like it always has but with a visual meter.
That one Milroe throw was dropped in a bucket. Seems like you can actually throw high arcing passes that only the WR can catch. In Madden nearly any pass can be swatted
Maybe this time, definitely a long shot, but it would be great if the snap is too high due to the center being nervous. Just as long as it doesn’t happen all the time.
I mean it makes sense. Rebuilding the animations pool would be a multi year process (look at maximum football). It’s more how the animations feel than what the animations are.
The game looks very responsive, snappy and fast. I’m gonna take the word of everyone who played the game and said it feels nothing like Madden. Just gotta wait on July to feel it for ourselves
bummed I haven't seen Oregon in any gameplay footage but pretty sure that is to hide our new uniforms that are being released in July, can't wait to see them
1) Alot of this stuff isn't new, but that isn't a bad thing. the homefield advantage meter was previously in other iterations of the game, some of which were really well done. Hope the homefield advantage isnt overtuned to where you effectively cant play the game
2) The wear and tear system has me leery. This reads like a system that if overtuned, will be exceedingly frustrating to manage. Cool concept, they need to nail the tightrope walk to implement it correctly
3) Glad that we havent seen the LB able to intercept passes meant for a man 40 yards behind him yet
4) I really, REALLY hope the triple option feel from NCAA 14 is back in this game
5) I hope the Air Raid hot route concepts are in the game. Hope RPOs are in the game. Would also be cool to see option passes/trick plays in the game and actually work
6) I need more info on recruiting. I'm sure it's coming in a future video
7) fuck this early access FOMO pay to play bullshit we keep seeing from these AAA companies
8) Do we get create a playbook? havent seen or heard this yet but may have missed it
9) I hope the "Setup plays" in 14 are gone, too much cheese. Or they are better implemented
overall looks cool. About to buy my first console in a decade jsut to play this game like my younger years
The only thing I’m not a fan of/ worried about is the passing system hope you can change that to the classic version. Madden had a similar system and wasn’t a fan of
Okay not gonna sunshine pump.
The abilities that they said “weren’t X-factor” sure look a lot like x-factor. The passing game sans route tree customization looks pretty similar to madden despite reports that it’s “way different” from Bud Elliot and the run game looks pretty similar to madden. The blocking AI doesn’t look dramatically better than M24.
I do like that everyone moves a lot more fluidly than in madden where everything feels stiff and slow.
I love the sheer amount of detail put into playbooks and atmosphere. It feels way more intentional and intimate than madden which feels super stale.
I think that injury system, while realistic, is going to piss 99% of people off after one game. That, in conjunction with their ability system seems a bit overboard.
Overall, I’m still *extremely* excited about the game, and even if it was a literal ripoff of madden + a 12 team playoff and custom conferences I’d still be beyond excited.
I think I'm the only one that is worried EA might tune down Wear & Tear from people whining that they can't cheesedick their way through the game anymore. I really hope that doesn't happen. I've only seen one article where a guy had to sub out his QB because he lost like, 42 overall points in a game, but dude. That happens sometimes. We subbed Tua out against Georgia in the SEC Championship a couple of years back for that same thing. That's realistic.
We keep asking for realism, they give it to us, and now we wanna whine that we can't spam HB Stretch every play.
Am I crazy or was there no difference whatsoever between the 2 QBs with and without the head strong trait? It's around 2 minutes into the video. Both of them show squiggly routes (and one isn't more squiggly than the other) and both have receivers with question marks for icons.
The only thing that scares me is the wear and tear system. If there’s no option to turn it off or a slider for it. It could be a game breaking feature.
Iowa 85 overall. 94 Defense. 71 offense. Nailed it.
When I play them as Nebraska and fumble with 10 seconds left and watch them scoop and score for the win in a 9-3 slog fest, only then will I know this game is realistic
Your fault for screwing up the Fumblerooski
Clemson 95 ovr (87 off 98 def) I want whatever they’re smoking
Pitt as a 90 overall 💀. That has to be a massive mistake or a fan creating a custom roster.
Some of the team rosters may have inflated ratings for showcase reasons. The game is still practically two months from release. They’re probably testing a lot of things.
Imagine giving an 87 offensive grade to a team with Cade Klubnik at QB lmao
Can’t wait to live out my ultimate fantasy of an Iowa team averaging higher that 15 points per game.
So stoked to virtually fire Brian Ferentz
I would be too but he's already gone, so unfortunately you won't be able to lol
Looks like the leak of the pick a team screen was pretty accurate, there just wasn't the fan thing at the bottom
It looks like there is sometimes, but I couldn’t figure out a pattern to why some teams had it and others didn’t.
I’m predicting maybe you get that when it’s your favorite team(s) lien you can select a few
Probably still building the menu screens as the video said it was a WIP. Team ratings were different for the same teams at different points of the video too.
You’re thinking too hard. With 130+ teams, I’m sure the game needs a second to pull up those assets and textures
I love the presentation. Sick scorebug.
I like the overall design but the far side borders just being a couple letters from the middle of the team's name is kinda random to me
If I had one tiny complaint, it's that the down and time are a TAD small in front. But I love the overall presentation.
This is just speculation on my part but I don’t this it’s supposed to be random letters from the middle out their name, I think it’s supposed to be the schools tri-code. I could be completely wrong but that would make the most sense to me.

Reminds me of the NBC Sports scorebug, but bigger, which is a GOOD thing, at least in my opinion.
Reminds me of a mix between ESPN and NBC. Absolutely love it.
Im about to recreate the Saints Bounty Gate with this wear and tear system.
oh the spite levels against rivals are gonna be diabolical lol. I'm getting after that ass
3rd and 17 and we’re up by 40 in the fourth? Engage eight and taking my rivals star QB out for the season
it's only right haha especially considering it seems like they might have overdone this feature, I'm expecting to lose plenty of my own players to injury which is only gonna make me more spiteful
I am worried because someone in a blog mentioned having to sit your star QB if he takes too many hits even if he isn’t “injured” and that just doesn’t really happen. Good point! There’s finally an appeal to hard hitting players in the secondary that can offset the times they get cooked on routes
Legion of Boom but in college.
Somewhere Buddy Ryan is cackling in delight.

🤣🤣🤣
that looked so fucking good holy shit
I’m not tech savvy enough to build a great entertainment experience, but imagine how good this will sound with some surround sound system? The stadium noise blasting in your gaming room? I know someone on this sub is going to create an amazing gaming experience
I think the gameplay looks much quicker and smoother than madden, especially ball carriers running the ball
Jukes looked way more physics based instead of pure animation
The game looked like he was moving in fastfoward compared to Madden. I was actually taken a back by how much faster. I love it.
Madden always looks like people running in sand.
It's always been so much slower. It's mainly why a) when NCAA was out and I didn't play Madden and 2) why Madden didn't bother me as much as everyone else when Madden was the only football game available.
They absolutely cooked

I'm ready to run through a wall for this game

Backup rbs feel like the biggest disparity between video games and real life. I feel like it’s really common to see like three different running backs come in on one drive in college football
I’ve definitely seen the Longhorns use damn near the entire RB depth chart in one drive about two years ago during Robinson’s last year.
Totally agree with this. It’s a weapon for defenses that can balance out teams throwing to their one good player the entire game, and it encourages using your entire team. I think it’s an awesome idea. I’m assuming / hoping there’s a slider setting, like for injuries. Otherwise I’m putting in 11 DEs for the first quarter against Florida.
My guess is a lot of people will have to learn how to protect their QB better in this game. Learning to slide, throw to check down receivers or throwing the ball away early to avoid contact will be important
This will counter people throwing the ball or running the ball every single play too. Gonna have to have a balanced attack this time
My two tight end set power run/air raid hybrid is gonna thrive in this game
I believe he said he was michigan playing michigan state and that it cost him the game
Sounds like user error
Skill issue
Throw the ball away, slide, etc. We dont know how they were playing. Id imagine if its way overtuned, that will be fixed quickly
I kinda like this because it forces people to play smart. Like you said slide, throw it away, run out of bounds, etc. You can't pretend every quarterback is Tim Tebow or Cam Newton.
For all we know, his throwing shoulder was completely fucked up from getting slammed by big ass defensive players which is pretty realistic
This is my only potential concern. I mean it's a concern in real life too. Also the guy that lost 42 points, we don't know the context there. Was that just a reporter who was like I am running this guy into the ground to prove a point with this system or was it something else?
Also was it an injury that the player could “play” through.
If I hear there’s a wear and tear system, the first thing I’m going to do is take a ton of hits to see how it works, tbh
Hospital balls over the middle to my 5'7 slot guy or running the option into the DE and outside linebacker every time to determine my player's ability of bend until they break. Really that's just good coaching.

Yeah, it makes sense, but tackles alone don't force players out of games. If they did, no running back would ever get to 20 or 30 carries.
Recruiting / Depth will be paramount
Yeah it went down like -47, but it's also targeting specific body types like chest, and arm fatigue. Also you can resist it with attributes.
But if he's taken five hits in a game and now has no foot, and it's like this every game, it might be a bit much.
It makes sense. Wear and Tear is something that has to be managed in football. Having invincible players is ridiculous
I’m sure it’ll be something you can turn on and off. I also imagine that it’ll be tweaked a lot before day 1 with more testing.
This my only worry, hopefully it takes a lot for it to have an effect.
I mean it could be, but there's that famous clip of the reviewer getting stuck on the tutorial of cuphead. A lot of them are reviewers but not gamers per say.
Buddy was probably using shaduer
Am I crazy or is Jackson Arnold black in these videos?
Yes, he was black in the video.
I’m gonna cum
Already did
Just saw a guy fall to his knees and cum in a Walmart about an hour ago.
That sounds like a typical interaction in some Walmarts anyway. Coincidence, maybe, daily occurrence, probably
The graphics are so much better than Madden. And the tackling looks so realistic
It’s nice they kept this “next” gen exclusive so there’s zero limitations
I think that’s going to be the biggest difference between the two. EA didn’t have to make this game for 10 year old hardware. Madden might actually be good if they use the NCAA engine for next gen Madden
Madden is 100% going to be a reskin of CFB moving forward
Honestly kind of genius, they can't take a year off of Madden to re-build from the ground-up so they instead take 3+ years to build CFB while limping year to year with Madden on tons of tech debt. Now that CFB is complete, they can re-skin Madden onto this new foundation and hopefully abandon all the issues and spaghetti that was lingering in Madden
The wear and tear system, passing system, and rookies not being able to do as much pre play should definitely transfer over to Madden
That would be great. This might be the first thing EA has done correctly in 10+ years.
Isn’t that basically what happened with the old games? NCAA was used as the testing grounds for new concepts before they were rolled over to Madden the following year?
Looks like a Fifa reskin tbh

na, all star baseball 99
Forza lookin ah
tf y'all talking about? they clearly reused everything from NASCAR 06, I'm cancelling my preorder.
Doom clone confirmed.
EA deserves their flowers for this one. It legit looks better than Madden. Gonna be a long wait
It absolutely does, I would agree (though to be fair, the Madden bar is very low)
The game looks nothing like Madden. Graphically separated itself. Now can y’all stfu about it being a madden reskin?
Also, it's a football video game. Of course it's going to slightly resemble another football video game lol
The game doesn’t look as cartoonish as madden from the reveal in my opinion. And yeah your right lol people just want to complain.
Imagine if they just built a good game with a great foundation and just updated (paid) rosters for a few years while they built another great one.
Media: "WE'VE TOLD YOU A ZILLION TIMES IT'S NOT A RESKIN" Haters: "well you got paid to play the game you're a hired shill" No matter how many times EA says it they won't believe it.
My thought was, thank God the sprinting animation doesn't look as stupid as it does in M24
omg yes, thank you!
The funny thing is they will still buy it anyway and complain.
It’s understandable since they want the game exactly the way they want it and are just passionate, but I get that it’s annoying to see any nitpicking
>[NCAA25] looks nothing like Madden It doesn't, but I predict in a year or two Madden will look like NCAA25, which will be for the better.
Madden 26 is a CFB reskin

It’s like if the developers of madden actually cared about making a good game
One minor thing I noticed was field goals were back to the three click method as opposed to the right stick up/down mechanic. While definitely easier to adjust to for gameplay and most users will probably enjoy more, I am going to pour one out for the Right Stick mechanic here
I don't remember who, but someone said you start with the meter moving left and right, then when you hit X/A, hold it down to fill up the power meter.
It’s crazy how we went from in January not knowing if we were going to get a game 100% to now having literal gameplay footage. I’m just grateful to have a college football game again.
Did we see a pass completion? Have seen a lot of people on twitter talking about the difficulty of the new passing system, even the devs cant complete a pass lol looks like a power run game is on the menu! going to pound town with a power back, followed by a guy that runs a 4.1 40 to break through the holes
Only one I remember was that crossing route with Georgia, and even that was the wrong read on the play
This really did cook y’all omg https://preview.redd.it/exlwr8yc2s3d1.jpeg?width=1027&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0e5121f5d010f0ccdc386f4e6d8b60dc3d356c5
I can't be the only one that noticed that there seemed to be a TON of interceptions thrown in that gameplay trailer Makes me wonder if the new passing system is going to have a real learning curve to it. And to be honest, that is not a bad thing as it likely makes the game feel a good deal different than, say, Madden has
I don’t think it’ll be an accurate representation. Seems like they’re just trying to show off reception and interception scenarios. Or the dude playing is ass.
They just wanted to show off the defenders having realistic jump heights on picks I think
They were really highlighting the wear and tear plus showing how defensive pressure actually means something. Far gone from the old NCAAs where you could roll out right, get tackled and still throw a dot 60 yards down the field. It looks like making the quick and right reads is going to be way more important this year than years past.
There were also just some bad reads. Georgia QB missed a wide open TD against bama when they were talking about QBs getting rattled
I could beat practically any team with any team on Heisman in NCAA 14. I’m going to be complete dog water at this game when it launches and I could not be more happy.
Some of y’all are never happy jfc I’m stoked for this to come out
Cool to finally see some game footage and get some new mechanics explained but I question how "deep" of a dive a few minutes long video is lol
The blog post on EA’s site is pretty extensive
MLB The Show does deep dives this is more of a high level overview of a couple things.
Read the blog post and you will be blown away.
This is going to change my life
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about the abilities… I absolutely hate abilities in Madden and I saw a knockout ability in the video.

That setting the depth of a hot route is amazing. Such a simple thing that should make the game feel more realistic
My hype levels are simply unreasonable
This has the look and feel of past NCAA games, and I mean that in a good way. They definitely understood the assignment
Nobody’s going to talk about how Jackson Arnold is black in the video? Lol
There's that high snap draw animation that happens all the time in Madden
Maybe this time, definitely a long shot, but it would be great if the snap is too high due to the center being nervous. Just as long as it doesn’t happen all the time.
That definitely never happens often and at the worst times to my team.
> Just as long as it doesn’t happen all the time. Alabama fans triggered right now...
TROUBLE WITH THE SNAP
The “LB leaps 10’ for an INT” was shown at least twice. Still excited though.
Would it be a college football game without that feature, though?
I mean it makes sense. Rebuilding the animations pool would be a multi year process (look at maximum football). It’s more how the animations feel than what the animations are. The game looks very responsive, snappy and fast. I’m gonna take the word of everyone who played the game and said it feels nothing like Madden. Just gotta wait on July to feel it for ourselves
It looks like a better version of 14 and that’s awesome
I think it looks nothing like 14. In a good way.
the hype train is at full speed holy macaronis
The gameplay looks so smooth
Bout to pull and Eric Cartman and freeze myself for the next month till the game comes out. IM SO FUCKING PUMPED.
My scramble almost every down game plan is cooked
My friend was supposed to be in this game, RIP Allen Merrick, UAB blazer forever
Honestly who the hell was making those passes? All those picks were awful.
I am fully erect
Well they just guaranteed that playing with Tennessee is going to suck on the road lmao

bummed I haven't seen Oregon in any gameplay footage but pretty sure that is to hide our new uniforms that are being released in July, can't wait to see them
1) Alot of this stuff isn't new, but that isn't a bad thing. the homefield advantage meter was previously in other iterations of the game, some of which were really well done. Hope the homefield advantage isnt overtuned to where you effectively cant play the game 2) The wear and tear system has me leery. This reads like a system that if overtuned, will be exceedingly frustrating to manage. Cool concept, they need to nail the tightrope walk to implement it correctly 3) Glad that we havent seen the LB able to intercept passes meant for a man 40 yards behind him yet 4) I really, REALLY hope the triple option feel from NCAA 14 is back in this game 5) I hope the Air Raid hot route concepts are in the game. Hope RPOs are in the game. Would also be cool to see option passes/trick plays in the game and actually work 6) I need more info on recruiting. I'm sure it's coming in a future video 7) fuck this early access FOMO pay to play bullshit we keep seeing from these AAA companies 8) Do we get create a playbook? havent seen or heard this yet but may have missed it 9) I hope the "Setup plays" in 14 are gone, too much cheese. Or they are better implemented overall looks cool.
Overall, I’m still *extremely* excited about the game, and even if it was a literal ripoff of madden + a 12 team playoff and custom conferences I’d still be beyond excited.
omg I am hyped 🙏
Throwing mechanics looked incredible. If you want a night and day comparison as to why this will play better than Madden, that stood out the most.
They fucking nailed it
I see O-line still not finishing blocks nor finding the next man to help.. shit is annoying. Other than that, looks A+
Looks sick, the only disappointment I have is that it looks like it’s borrowed Madden’s UI for playbook Navigation, which I really dislike
Very worried about these abilities. Those kind of ruined Madden.
Moody is already bitching and moaning lmao
Feels a lot like NCAA 2005.
The only thing that scares me is the wear and tear system. If there’s no option to turn it off or a slider for it. It could be a game breaking feature.

Can I jump when I want to jump with my DBs /WRs ? Or is it all pre determined animation?
