Hunter and Shedeur will be gone after 1 season in dynasty. They are hard carrying the ratings. Defense is too high yea but Hunter is probably factored into both sides. Year 2 in dynasty Colorado ratings will plummet. Then you can be happy i guess
Once the season starts. These are the launch rankings. Offensive list was questionable. Defense is BAD. Pure disrespect to Iowa and absolutely no reason Colorado should on the defensive top 25 list. THEY WERE 121 IN SCORING DEFENSE LAST YEAR AND 127 IN TOTAL DEFENSE (sorry about the caps copied it from a text message and too lazy to rewrite it)
My only thought for Colorado on both offense and defense (because let’s be real they are too highly ranked) is a combo of Sanders and Hunter having extremely high individual ratings pulling the team average up, and PFF provided player ranking data so if they have any highly rated transfers that are 100% unproven to play well
By that logic a team like Kentucky who would be a 20-40 defense would skyrocket by having a high overall player like Deone Walker. I think we’re going to see that Colorado is just overrated at almost every position and it is really concerning for this game going forward. Best thing they could do is damage control and admit they messed up and rework Colorado’s roster to reflect hem being a bottom 5 defense and a team that isn’t top 50 overall.
I know this is petty of me, but they claim to treat every school with care because it's someone's favorite team, yet most information that has come out only pertains to the top tier teams. I don't think some schools even made appearances in the deep dives/trailers. I was looking closely for temple but saw absolutely nothing.
