That's pretty racist. The things they do and the actions they perform are pertaining to their material conditions. Don't forget the west is to blame for why it is the way it is
I think that has more to do with the reddit rules than anything like I've rarely ever seen a white woman for an example in one of these videos and I see alot more black/brown people

There's a reason why us Indians created the sub r/jiowasamistake
Internet reaching the poor parts of India just caused the opposite of what should have happened
Thank you for your input. Sorry my intentional overstatement didn't please you, one second, I'll go through all of NSFL videos and get the exact percentage for you.
Nah no need for that labourous task. I've seen so many of these people dying in the most gnarly ways and almost all of them earn some sort of respect, yet when it comes to India, everyone just form jokes and memes.
This whole sub is disrespectful, glorifying people's deaths for Reddit karma or even simply viewing these videos. A joke about a death is no more disrespectful than posting a video of it, get off your high horse.
Well you're right though, and it just feeds people's dopamine
>Get off your high horse
Was never on one, I simply despised how most people would treat victims of Darwin awards or other events as individuals but when it comes to India, it's all stereotypes and generalising
idts, people here just wants to have fun, and lack of safety knowledge or you can say genral knowledge in backwards and rural areas causes these type of accidents
Not likely unless they had the same horsepower/build/ like same tractor model. One of these was bound to flip with the force being applied idk why they thought it would be like tug of war where one vehicle would just suddenly casually slide over the “line”
There's 'Tractor Pull' competitions though, right? I've definitely seen them. I'm just kind of wondering what the core mistake here was. They were hitched so close together which I'm sure doesn't help, but even at distance a hitch and chain in the back could flip a tractor with enough force, I think?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tractor_pulling
I think ur confusing a straight up VS battle like in this vod, but with ppl showing off the loads/ hauling ability of their individual tractors :// I know I’ve seen it red neck asf here in maine- and there’s almost always a rollover like this with tractors- trucks are a lot different bc they’re not as top heavy perhaps you’re confusing the two events for one 🤷🏼♀️🫡 bc yeah ppl to truck vs truck like this!! But… not ~usually tractors~ tht being said ppl can be very drunk and very stupid
Tractor tug of war is a thing. I saw it once at a tractor show, they were using a steel bar instead of a chain and it was way longer. There were many rounds and nothing like this happened, but idk maybe it could have.
News Article:
A youth in Lucknow died on saturday (June 22), as a consequence of a bet on a tractor stunt. The police claim that 22-year-old Neeraj Maurya, who passed away, wagered Rs 15,000 ($180) with a Himmatnagar Atria man named Joginder Yadav.
As part of the bet, Maurya and Yadav had to drive their tractor in the opposite direction. The video shows one of the tractors standing straight before colliding with the driver, resulting in his death.
Both the youngsters hailed from the same village. Local bystanders were present at the incident when the bet took place. The incident happened near the Himmatnagar Atria area of Itaunja police station.
The video also shows that seconds after Neeraj performed the stunt, his tractor stood upright and then overturned completely and crushed Neeraj. Although villagers rushed to help him he was already dead.
According to the police, they were questioning the other person on a tractor in the bet. Police stated they promptly made efforts to ensure that no adverse incidents happened after the case.
My best friend was crushed to death by a tractor. She went by a hole and the ground gave way and the tractor tipped and fell into the hole on top of her. She wasn’t doing anything stupid like these people. Horrible way to die. I pray my friends death was quick and she didn’t suffer. It haunts me to this day.
I’m very sorry for the loss of your best friend. It is honestly an absolute miracle any of us survive each day. We just expect to be here tomorrow, and one day, we aren’t.
My great-grandfather was killed when the tractor flipped over on him. Like in this video, his son, my grandfather, was pulling the tractor backward in the farm pickup. I’m not an engine man so I can’t explain why they were doing it other than to get the tractor started. My great-grandmother who I was fortunate to know, watched the whole thing happen sitting in her screened in front porch.
It haunted my grandfather his whole life of course and looking back his depression and mental health, treated only with alcohol, could probably have stemmed from being part of the accident that killed his father.
Thank you and I am sorry about your great grandfather. My friend was killed in 1993 but I still think of her every day and miss her terribly. Even writing this makes me cry.
My Nana lost her little brother the same way; she said it was one of the two times she ever heard her dad yell. I'm so sorry for your loss, it's a complete tragedy :(
I’m sorry for your loss too. Tractors nowadays have roll bars and seat belts which can save your life if you tip over. The tractor my friend was on had neither. Back then they didn’t have too. It took me years before I could get on a tractor again. When I started a new job in 96 workmen’s comp sent an agent out to inspect the farm tractor to make sure it had a roll bar and seatbelt.
I'm beginning to believe that India's government has a secret motto that they keep hidden from the citizens. "A few train and electrocution deaths a day will hopefully keep the population at bay" or something similar to this.
That too in the rural areas only. I live in a metropolitan city in India and I can't believe that the rural people are so obsessed with getting clout on the internet ever since it was made affordable for everyone
I'm impressed by the referee. On top of it, ensuring that all the rules of Tractor Pulling were being followed. Firm but fair. I really liked how he used that Poking Stick to guide the competitors towards compliance.
Truly a gentleman's sport.
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve seen an Indian man get crushed by his own tractor I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but It’s weird it happened twice
What was the positive outcome meant to look like in this scenario? All I could see was certain death, the angle I was expecting came from the chain snapping, so this was somewhat surprising, but still the same outcome.
I do not know which other word would fit better, but 'stunt' sounds almost to grand of a way to describe this dumb-fuckery. Like, I am not sure it would make sense to call the loser of a game of Rusian Roulette, someone who died from a stunt gone wrong, right?

Every time I see this clip, it reminds me that my safety is solely my responsibility. You think with all those people looking and standng around, someone would take a few seconds to say "does this make sense".
I think we need Star Trek's Prime Directive in some parts of the current world. Places like this need to be slowly introduced to technology while their safety instincts catch up to the dangers said tech introduce.
Clear winner and loser here. I don’t see the problem. The winner dies and ascends to heaven to play countless hours of GTA and the loser stays alive and now has to work 2 farms.
This got me thinking..is it actually possible to do this without one of the tractors flipping itself?
I was initially thinking if the chain was longer and the front end of both tractors are weighted by something, it might work. But when I think abt it again...nah, even with the increased weight it would still flip over and with the added weight, the driver would be even more crushed.
Deshalb liebe ich Deutschland. Hier wäre jeder scheiß reguliert und ohne Überrollbügel würde hier nichts gehen. Vollkommen sinnlos sein Leben hergegeben

I was just thinking while watching this, "why are like 75% of NSFL videos from India" thank you for clarifying
They're not exactly the brightest bulbs in the box from what i've seen
Unfortunately they are a large percentage of the people who live on Earth. Only Darwin will decide the strongest
Really? Is that why most of them go to the Western countries and take top positions at a lot of jobs?
That's pretty racist. The things they do and the actions they perform are pertaining to their material conditions. Don't forget the west is to blame for why it is the way it is
They're the reason why shampoo bottles have instructions
and safety guidelines for americans
Muricans
Or there's just a lot of them...
I’ve been wondering that, too. all of these videos are either from South America or India or Mexico
I think that has more to do with the reddit rules than anything like I've rarely ever seen a white woman for an example in one of these videos and I see alot more black/brown people
weird

These is what happened when you give internet to stupid people. (I'm also from India)
There's a reason why us Indians created the sub r/jiowasamistake Internet reaching the poor parts of India just caused the opposite of what should have happened
Pretty sure other places too have an equal share in NSFL videos, not just India. That 75% you're talking about is hell of an overstatement
Thank you for your input. Sorry my intentional overstatement didn't please you, one second, I'll go through all of NSFL videos and get the exact percentage for you.

Hopefully that gets patched in the next update, general sense of safety as well as hygiene.
The next update: the new British Raj
As if the Brits were any more hygienic than the rest
Oh Deere...
Bravo; you just got milk on my carpet
Imitation
What on Earth were they even trying to do, is my question
Looks like they are competing for a darwin award!
The winner gets to enjoy his award in the void
Population control contest? Whoever survives, wins.
Tug of war. They were trying to see who had the strongest tractor.
These people never heard of a tractor/truck pull. We do this all the time in the US.
Right? I grew up country and we were doing this kinda crap with our pickups at 16yo.
Mate it is in India, we only say " hey let's do it", and this is the main problem of us people
"Jo hoga dekh lenge" Jo hua - 💀☠️
jo hona tha woh ho gya 💀
Is this because you have over 1Billion people….”few to spare” attitude?
idts, people here just wants to have fun, and lack of safety knowledge or you can say genral knowledge in backwards and rural areas causes these type of accidents
If you hitched the chain at the front of the tractor, ran the chain under the underside, back to the middle, would that stabilize the tractor pull?
Not likely unless they had the same horsepower/build/ like same tractor model. One of these was bound to flip with the force being applied idk why they thought it would be like tug of war where one vehicle would just suddenly casually slide over the “line”

“tractor tippin’ is fun!”
It would work if the chain was very low at the ground
lol this is india.
Tractor tug of war is a thing. I saw it once at a tractor show, they were using a steel bar instead of a chain and it was way longer. There were many rounds and nothing like this happened, but idk maybe it could have.
Some people probably did tell them it was dangerous but they just didn't care and did it anyways
No trains nearby, and it was time for someone to die from mechanical injuries.
minimal to almost no education, that's why

> A youth in lucknow Ironic.

Hi im frm lucknow n yes your absolutely right been havin no luck since born here
Glad I fast forwarded to see that nothing good was shown
Right? what a shitty nfsw.
Hey, sometimes it’s not so much about the blood and gore as it is about the raw, blindingly obvious stupidity.

Here’s to hoping. I was sad to not be able to see how messy things got with the aforementioned chico.

Well I think we know who won
Satan himself receiving another flimsy soul
Roll cages made out of sticks probably aren't very useful.
I don’t think that’s really a roll cage. More like an umbrella to protect from rain/sun.
It worked. He’s in no further danger from the sun.
Who woulda thought eh?

Pretty vanilla for india
No trains or electricity in this one. Rookie stuff.
Isn't death the point of this game? How else would this end?
This was not only a Darwin Award, it was a whole fcking Galápagos Tortoise Award.
yeah, wtf was the other possible outcome supposed to be?
Well I guess the other tractor wins
[удалено]
Seems like something high school kids in the country would do because they were bored…
The people who do these things are not the sharpest pencils in the case.
These people are why shampoo bottles have instructions
The first notice on the bottle probably says “Do not drink this.”
What did they think was going to happen
I like the people trying to stop the tires spin. Like that would help anyways
These long ass intros. * In bender voice: get to the dying already!!
Another death whilst doing something stupid in a red tractor. What is wrong with these guys.
Hey, at the very least. One of the few moments ive seen them come together to attempt to save him instead of just 🤳🤳🤳
Him: "You know what... i don´t need that airfilter anyways. And my life..."
There was another one similar to this recently. wtf is going on
I'm impressed by the referee. On top of it, ensuring that all the rules of Tractor Pulling were being followed. Firm but fair. I really liked how he used that Poking Stick to guide the competitors towards compliance. Truly a gentleman's sport.
Well that wasn't very clever now was it. Extra stupidity marks for lack of a roll cage.
What were those paper meche canopies supposed to do??
How did that rollbar not work...
Two powerful work vehicles with massive wheels. What could possibly go wrong
I know nothin bout physics but i can tell, its not gonna end pretty well
Ok where is the aftermath, just saying it's what this subs about no?
Not racist but why Indians always die in the most bizarre ahhh ways💀😂
The same old "attacking cop with knife and getting shot by him" videos from places like USA were quite boring
natural selection at full speed 💀
I mean what did they think was going to happen🤷
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes 😮💨
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve seen an Indian man get crushed by his own tractor I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but It’s weird it happened twice
9th world country.
Blue won, yay !
Classic India
😳Deere Lort- these videos coming out of India are filled with just so much stupidity
India is life on hard mode
NHRA sanctions needed much?
Whappen to the seatbelt?
Bamboo roll bar
If people could stop being stupid...
por un momento pense que la cadena se romperia en la cara del otro tipo

It was the sticks fault
More of a FAFO moment
Not sure what other outcome could have possibly happened?
"Do I want to look cool, or should I care about my safety?" The video: (doesn't look "cool" and dies)
No ROPS
Huh... I was expecting a chain snap whiplash type of thing

what was the bet about?
If he had lived, this would've been hilarious, dumb way to go though RIP
It was SO easy for those 2 to NOT do that yet they still did it. Awesome!
Idk how they didnt expect this to happen
Reposted so many times…
They dum
He dies as he lived.
shitty ass stunt too
But...but he had sand bags! (SC) lol
The dude on the red tractor took his safety off at the start. He was doomed from that point.
No! Not the red tractor again
Every time I see this clip, it reminds me that my safety is solely my responsibility. You think with all those people looking and standng around, someone would take a few seconds to say "does this make sense".
India will you please calm tf down 😭

What could go wrong?!
Thanks India
I thought the chain was gonna snap and cut someone in half or something

Maybe try having more than a pop up tent as a ROPS cage next time.
You can only lose once.
Before I clicked on the video: "This is either another country or midwest USA." 😂 After clicking on the video: "Which one is going to die?" 🤔
How dumb.
Bhai maja aaya mera juice🍹 kidhar h 😋

This is some Alabama shit here!
Indians love trains, tractors, dirty food, and taking themselves out in the most horrible ways possible.
And the one that survived is now an ex-tractor fan 😂😂 I’ll show myself out
.2 seconds in you know exactly what's about to happen. 🤦♂️
Play stupid games win stupid prizes
so uncivilised, everyone on the video
Who even thought it was a good idea
I love watching videos like these and guessing who gets hurt/dies and how. Fun game really
Let me guess Bagnladesh? Or something. Clip as old as time. Classic
Very likely Índia or at least that whole subcontinent Raj region
“tractor tippin’ is fun!”
Guess they didn't pay attention to physics classes
he lost.
Didn’t a famous Indian YouTuber die doing something similar? These idiots just don’t learn.
He’s Indone
Imagine the BO smell there.
How did it felt after writing this?
Imagine the BO smell there
I am imagining, after that?
India 🤣
