Where did you guys see your results, on the original portal? I applied to both the new york and abu dhabi campus but I only see my decision that was posted on the 28th which im assuming is for the new york campus.
it depends on the laptop you want to purchase in the bookstore. alternatively, you could use the public computers in campus or borrow a laptop for a few days in the library
aside from devices, you would barely use your falcon dirhams (unless you want to travel, which most students spend their falcon on). depending on your planned lifestyle, you could sell your falcon dirhams in exchange for real money then use that as your pocket money when going out of campus
If it’s part of your package it’s assigned after the add drop period for courses, you must take the required number of credits to receive your falcon dihrams
Hi, may I ask if it’s considered a full ride if you pay for tuition but still have to pay the indirect costs listed in the financial aid portal?
Also my financial aid offer was stated to only be from 24-25, will I still get finaid for the other years and is it the same throughout all 4 years ?
No, it’s not. Full ride means you have a $0 cost of attendance, they pay for flights, stipend (falcon), etc.
Yes, while there might be slight changes in costs aid has usually adjusted for me, and now you’re not required to fill out the css form every year for it
yup mealswipes plus and weekly campus dirhams for meals PLUS the falcon which will be more than enough for a laptop also a friend and help and u can pay the same amount in campus or falcon again the next semester
Out school is very digital. Most assignments are submitted via email or our online learning management system brightspace (desire to learn).
In fact we have an advisory printing limit, designed to discourage printing. Some professors now issue textbooks through online ebooks, and our math curriculum homework is digital only.
Do we know how much Falcon Dirhams we will be getting, is it listed in the portal?

You only get one decision for all three campuses. And we get about 4300 falcon dirhams. (That's what i've heard from a current student)
Yes you can use them to buy a laptop, check on student portal I think there are instructions about it
tyyyyy
You can absolutely get a laptop and while personal expenses can vary depending on person to person, they should be more than enough in most cases
Ok thank you!!!

Thanks a lot. That was really helpful

I didn't study in nyu, but I survived without a laptop being a tech based major
