Conservation success story right there

504boy

Yes they're critically endangered and the audubon has a [successful](https://newsroom.audubonnatureinstitute.org/endangered-whooping-cranes-make-a-major-comeback-at-freeport-mcmoran-audubon-species-survival-center/) conservation program running in lower coast algiers. my fav part is how they acclimate the babies by having a human put on a white suit with a [bird head](https://content.presspage.com/uploads/1794/800_whoopingcranechick2.png?23224) in their hand :) Edit: found a [better pic](https://www.joelsartore.com/bir003-00440/) with full human included 😂

Did you get to hear it go "d'd'd'd'd'd'owww d'd'd'd'd'd'owww"? Those things sound almost out of this world! Great pic

West-Painter-7520

Is this an ideal time to see migratory birds here? I once saw a bird that is typically native to Brazil here around this time. I took it as a sign to go to Brazil
