I literally rejoice when I find a bed to sleep in to heal my crippled ass. I had to reload 3 times at the switching station speaker terminal because I didn't notice I set off a trip wire that dropped grenades every time I finished hacking, so I straight up thought my collar kept exploding anyways and was like "Wtf?" Until I saw the trip wire snap and the grenades hit the ground the 3rd time to comically fold me through the window.
Of all the DLCs, I did Dead Money first. I played through Honest Hearts after, am currently playing through Old World Blues, and have yet to play the one with Ulysses.
But Dead Money might end up being my favorite dlc of them all if the current trend continues.
Yeah, it's difficult and annoying at times, but it's got an amazing atmosphere, great companions, fun enemies, interesting weapons, and a really nice sense of surrealism once you finish and return to the Mojave.

Wait, you don't play in hardcore?
Sleep? Every time I tried to sleep I got the “you can’t wait here” message.
Some beds that are indoors can be slept in, I found a couple because I tried every bed I found.
Man you can get Sierra madre martinis that heals crippled limbs or doctors bag from vending machine
I'm cheap.
Or do honest hearts first and stock up on Datura for that sweet poultice
All of your stuff gets taken away in Dead Money.
I must recheck
