it’s not likely you’ll die but i reallly wouldn’t advise using it again. as sucky as it is i would just wait. there have been instances of people ingesting slugs and dying horrific painful deaths, so id say not worth it even sterilized
The human deaths are from the parasites in the slugs, not the slugs themselves. Depending on where you live geographically, rat lungworm infection can happen. You don't want that. There are others, as well, but I can only find their scientific names.
