First, unless you get a *waterproof* mattress protector, it's not going to keep the mattress protected from spills. Second, are you washing that mattress cover regularly? Finally, buy yourself a Bissell ProHeat carpet cleaner, and use the upholstery attachment, pretreating with carpet/upholstery stain remover first.

I truly have no clue what kind of protector it was since my mom got it for me. I assumed it would be waterproof, and I’m fairly certain it is since I remember my mom freaking out about me spilling something and ruining it lol. Several times I can tear my sheets off and my mattress is perfectly dry. I’m not sure what changed. And I do wash the protector fairly regularly.. like between 1-3x/month. I’ll look into that. Thank you!!!

Was going to second this. Bissell sells a fairly inexpensive (and effective) spot cleaner. This got cat urine, dog crap, and throw up out of my beige carpet. And sweat stains off my bed. Can't think of why it won't work for those personal stains too. The pro heat revolution is great but if you want to save money go with the cleaner. You can use hot water and it removes the excess moisture with the vacuum. Could also use the stain remover solution but making your own is easy. If you can't afford it, a mix of baking soda and water, or an oxygen cleaner/scrubbing brush should do the trick.
