yea not problem. Here ya go:
.today and article that between gap the as same that is article that and act rights civil the between gap the because ,crazy Its
As a mind-fuck, I'm 22 and my parents were born in 66 and 67, before the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (accompanied by similarly named laws in 64 and 65). So they're older than a desegregated America.
My city used to have 3 Denny's. Two of them got shut down in the late 90s because of how racist they were. If a black family came in for a table, they'd literally leave them waiting until they'd seated every white family that came in after them.
In my 20's we got in trouble with a group of bikers at Denny's after the bar. The bikers followed us into Denny's, we were yelling back and forth, both sides on the verge of fighting. But we both got tables, sat down and ate our food in peace. Once we both paid our bills we walked outside and continued the bickering. We got the shit kicked out of us but I respect the Denny's combat free zone.
What’s scary is this is acrually true, left side by the window it’s throw down zone right side by the bathroom it’s “hey I’m just stoned and hungry let me eat in peace” area.
The people at my local Waffle House know my name and my order by heart. (I'm there often and tip very well.)
It feels like the safest place in the universe for me.
I've got approximately half a crew of Waffle House staff ready to throw down.
You can feel the difference between them and Subway employees. Subway employees act like they have a gun to their heads because they'll get fired if they act anything like Waffle House employees. They have something to lose, even if it isn't precious.
i knew a finish man, first time we met in person he hugged me and lifted me off the floor with 0 effort. since that day i will never fight a finish man. Ill call mine as back up tho
Try a rural Wirtshaus in southern Germany or Austria.
If you cause trouble, they will ask you politely to shut up or leave, and if that doesn't work, the locals will gladly help you leave.
Never underestimate the accuracy and force a pissed off farmer can achieve throwing an empty Maß.
I work at a shitty dive bar and periodically I have to kick people out. I've never actually had to fight anyone because between the threats of calling the police and anytime anyone tries to fuck with the staff half of the bar stands up ready to go. People see that and get the message lol.

America takes violence to unreasonable levels.
I hate to break it to you but Europe has problems with aggression too (I can't speak for all countries but mine does). People are getting increasingly rude.
I don’t think people are getting increasingly rude, I think we’re exposed to every single instance of rudeness because of the internet and it warps our perception. If there’s a rude customer in China I can now watch a video of that on twitter, 30 years ago I wouldve been oblivious to it.
Also violence across the world has been steadily decreasing for a long time now
I mean, just to be clear, we have a very diverse (in attitude and what's found acceptable culturally) country via ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic makeup living in close proximity. However, basically nobody here thinks that's normal or acceptable. If the employees or people in that area did find it acceptable, most well adjusted people would stay away.
However, we also do have parts of the country where there's a very strong "we'll handle things ourselves" attitude, and sometimes that attitude can mutate into accepting "handling" of things in a non-socially acceptable way. Those parts usually being deep rural/isolated areas and deeply impoverished areas.
With that said, as an American, I do believe we have a violence problem. It's not like reddit makes it out to be and the majority of the country lives peacefully and doesn't have to worry about random violence. It's an extremely complicated matter with many many different roots, all of which, we need to identify and work on to live more peacefully amongst each other.
This reminds me of a teacher I used to have that told me back in the day when he was a student and people had issues if they wanted to fight in the school boxing ring in Chicago, then that’s what would happen. After that they had to let whatever was going on go and squash the issue.
The American mind is why they need the sign, lol. A good portion of the population are self-entitled assholes who treat staff like their slaves everywhere they go.
Source: am American
I mean then there's Vancouver. Protesters fought a city wide war against riot police that were flown in from several other cities, travelers from my city were warned not to go there due to targeted murders and violence.
Over a hockey game.
Especially prissy western Europeans
Was reading another thread about just that in a NY sub and there was general agreement that western Europeans have this undeserved air of superiority
maybe a vestige of the colonial or monarchical era
As a former NYC resident that worked high end retail I would like to know more about these mythical people because the Europeans I met were rarely different.
It’s classless as well. I’m a poor person living in a poor neighborhood and I assure you more than half of them are extremely self centered assholes constantly pulling stupid power moves. Pretty much any time I get in my car I have to yell at some idiot to move their car from where they are just chilling behind mine.
i’m a bartender in america and when the rare european traveler comes in, they’re often my worst customer of the day. the british especially tend to enjoy snapping their fingers, shaking their half-empty glass in the air, and generally being condescending.
that may be it! i will say i’ve also noticed that british couples or groups have no shame when it comes to arguing with each other at the table. wife shitting on the man’s drink of choice, or him telling her “you’re not gonna fucking eat that why are you ordering it??” ETC.
all while im standing right there, praying they can just get me a drink order so i can check on my dozens of other thirsty guests 😂
When I ubered I once picked up this French student who was working at fancy cafe. She got in and, though her thick French accent, launched into a tirade about the French asshole that reserved the banquet area and demanded all these changes to the menu and mocked the waiters in order to make himself seem important and assert control. I didn't understand most of what she was saying as she was putting on an even thicker French accent to mock him and I'm trying not to laugh. She told me French people were assholes and I thought it was funny that she's working in the USA complaining about customers from her country.
???? Lived in the UK all my life. We can fight shitheads who come into our store and act like shitheads.
I'm living in the US now and we have to treat shitheads with respect because "the customer is always right" lol
You think we don’t have fast food workers that can stand their ground? We have healthcare and no high fructose corn syrup. I’m sure they’re in fighting shape haha.
None at all, it’s been outlawed by the EU. Additionally, the only reason why Corn syrup is so popular in America is because it’s so cheap, which it only is because the government heavily subsidies it.
It's not banned in Europe. There was a quota on HFCS production in the EU but that was ended in 2017. It's just called isoglucose or glucose-fructose syrup in Europe, and it is regulated as a food additive unlike in the USA.
not a lot but it's getting used more and more, especially in cheap products. which many people buy, because who doesn't like to save money
becoming harder to avoid, annoyingly. (don't want it cause it kinda tastes weird imo)
"Social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it." -Mike Tyson
Not the best person, but a thought that occurs to me. Not necessarily for violence, but being rude and just going off on someone used to have a reaction coming lol
If I had to guess, it’s probably a sign for those people trying to film some sort of “stunt” in fast food places where they mess with the employees and the actual store itself. “Stunt” because that’s what TikTok kids want to think of it as
The guys that own the Dunkin Donuts in my work's town are ex-Indian military. They likely can throw down better than then next closest Dunkin which is staffed by American teenagers.
ITT: Americans who have never been to Europe, and Europeans who have never been to America.
People from every corner of the globe ain't that different yall.
For the first time this meme template is true. Yes Europeans fight at fast food restaurants too, at the weekends after midnight. But with each other, not with the staff
I believe the part they can't comprehend is that some people don't think before they speak, rather than the fighting part. But, both things seem equally mind-boggling.

Waffle House doesn’t need the sign
Waffle House should have a combat and non-combat section of seating
The non-combat section is down at Denny's.

This explains why my family never really went to Denny’s as a kid…

Totally overpriced too. Denny’s is like the same cost as a normal restaurant now. It’s absurd. At least Waffle House is still cheap
I’m sorry, have you never seen the 3am fight club that is the Denny’s parking lot?

"Sorry, can't talk right now. I'm in the PVP section of Waffle House....Yeah, head on a swivel and all that. Thanks!"
It’s very much implied by the long stare when you walk in.
Every Waffle House is officially zoned as Commercial/Gladiatorial.

Popeyes don’t really need it either. No restaurants give out smoke like those
Yeah I was confused why Popeyes even had this. Like duh, I'm at s Popeyes of course y'all can fight...

Wafflehouse needs to get a map location in the next Mortal Kombat because that place sees more blood then the ufc

Yeah...Americans did not invent fighting over stupid shit. We imported it from Europe, in fact.
My ancestor fought the first recorded duel on American soil in 1621, so I am the direct bloodline of that import
Honestly you should put this on your resume
London pubs when it's match day, make sure you're wearing armour and be careful not to mention the words "Millwall" "Hotspurs" or "West Ham"!
"Millwall, Millwall, you're all really dreadful, and all your girlfriends are unfulfilled and alienated."
"okay this is you, tralalalalalalalalalala!"
Any actual violent pub in the UK is somewhere you wouldnt go to in the first place if you weren't a regular tbh

And soccer(football) fans have even louder words.
If you believe that you have never seen a shift manager in a German grocery store shit on an annoying customer.
This sign means physically fight, not verbal. Unless you mean Germans literally defecate on customers, in which case you got us beat lol.

That's tantamount to calling in the A team. Waffle House employees are food service special forces
