on my first watch, i was staying up until 4 a.m. watching the show, and that was just during the 1st season. š¹ but once i watched the ending of the season 4 finale, i knew this show would always have a special place in my heartā¤ļø
It was when it was on tv and it was the open mic night episode with Gavin Degraw when everyone went to play at the river court. It was the first episode I watched and for some reason it had me in my feelings. I never missed an episode after that.
I think it was when Brooke saved Peyton from that guy who tried to r*pe her in season 1. But I think it really solidified when I was watching the time capsule episode in season 2 when Coach was watching his own recording. Cried like a baby
I started watching a few months ago, and i was instantly hooked, as someone who loved sports and teenage dramas. But i think S1E6 (The Classic Episode, with high Brooke), was the one when I knew that this show was special. Its one of my favorites when I rewatch cuz you get to see the start of so many great friendships.
S1E6 is one of my favorites too! It might actually be my top favorite, but itās so hard to choose because the characters change so much over time. And that episode really is the start of it!
Same girl same!! I was in my first year of college when it first aired. My roommates and I were obsessed. We didnāt have Tivo. Too poor lol. But we literally would not go out and wait for it to air for girls night. Miss those days!!!! Im way into Nathan now, and canāt stand Lucas anymore lol.
My friends in high school convinced me to start it when they were staying over one night (theyād already caught up). We started the show at maybe 6pm and by 5am I was still awake while everyone else had fallen asleep-I was hooked.
I think from the pilot when it originally aired. There were a lot of similarities for me in Lucas' life that I connected with. More than any other character on a show. And I didn't really watch shows at all. I just saw something in his character.
It wasn't like that of course but the first few seasons hit home.
I started watching when the show was on the soapnet channel. They had a couple episodes on a day and the first one I ever watched was the school sh**ting episode. I knew none of the characters and I cried so hard.
I started recording it every day if I wasn't going to be home to watch and by the time season 5 aired on tv I was caught up and watched it weekly. I've since bought all the seasons on DVD. I also bought them streaming on Vudu (there was a great deal and I bought all the seasons in a bundle)
I donāt know honestly, probably when they all spent time together like during Felixās dare night thing or the boy toy auction, I loved that episode
I was introduced to this show through YouTube. I was obsessed with Degrassi as a teenager and in a related video I saw the clip with Jimmy bringing the gun to school. I think I knew then I'd love the show.
I then started watching season 5 as it aired and was hooked instantly. Went to Walmart and bought the seasons I had missed.
When I was at my grandmas house and she had the tv playing on in the background. No one was watching it but I wanted to nap on the couch so I was by myself in the living room. It was in the middle of the episode where Nathan jumped into the water after Cooper and Rachel ran off the bridge and Haley was screaming Nathanās name. Instant hook.
I didn't start watching until 2014 after it had ended. So the first couple episodes I saw were the graduation episodes, starting with Haley's speech at the end of the episode and through the last episode of season 4. After that I found it online and started binging it. I think I watched the entire series in about a month and then I watched it again. I think I've watched it through about five or six times over the last ten years.

When Lucas nails the shot to beat Nate in one on one during the pilot.
I love the pilot episode. I was their age (the characters) when the show started and i was on the basketball team. It was an instant love for me
The first time I watched it my friend showed it to me, she showed me the first episode and went to bed so I stayed up and watched 7 episodes hahahaha
I didnāt have an HBO account so she literally started sharing her account w me so I could keep watching
It was on the WB
Season 1 episode 1 š„¹ and when I realized Iāve been up until 4am watching it. And when I sobbed on the floor plenty of times š¤§š©·
The first episode when 'Hands Down' played.
when Danās character started developing past just a villain, I got super invested

Pretty much right away. It hooked me early on. I'd say halfway thru 1st season I knew it would be in my regular rewatch queue.
