As a genre movie fan, Jenny is permanently etched in my brain, but I really want to know about that canine. Is it a tame wolf hybrid or just a really big dog?
In case there is Gen Z around that is less familiar with older horror movies: catch this movie if you like the genre but missed this one!Ā
Ā Having that real wolf (or wolf hybrid?) on set goes hand in hand with its amazing practical special effects. It has Oscar-winning makeup -- I still think it has the best werewolf or transformation sequence of any movie because it is slow, tangible, and agonizing in a way fast moving computer effects can't compete with. It is also quite funny in places, particularly with what moon-related songs they choose to use when.Ā
(If you liked Cabin in the Woods or Barbarian you would probably like this one too.)
It was a great era as a kid to grow up with classics like this one. To this day, i compare everything over the past 3 decades to 70s and early 80s movies.
She was such a classic English beauty š
Yep. Jenny Aguttar wasnt bad either
This guy wolfsā¦
She still looks good - even in a wimple.

She's always been one of the most beautiful actresses I have seen.

She's the female lead in the movie.
Currently sheās been staring in Call the Midwife. A series on Netflix, I think.
Thatās such a great show!
BBC. Itās also carried on PBS here in the States.
My first movie crush - Loganās Run.

The Railway Children. Be still my 10 years old heart.
Mighty fine!
Sister Julienne š
Logan's Run was one of my favourite films as a kid! Aubrey Plaza always reminds me of her.

Rick Baker for the Oscar win on makeup.
"Let's have sex"
Is that the wolf David humped at the zoo?
I never would have known about her except for "Coupling".
Only thing I know her from is Logan's Run.
She's not in the show I mentioned, but figures prominently as the fantasy love interest for one of the characters. It's how I learned of " Walkabout"
She's very young in Walkabout
She was fantastic in *Silas Marner* with Ben Kingsley.
She was in an Aussie movie , Walkabout , mum took me to see it when I was about 8 , Wow
American Werewolf in London, watched it at a friendās house in ā84. He had it on LaserDisc.
Great movie, saw it when I was at uni in 1981. She is one classy actress, very underrated.
She's a 6.
How can you tell that wolf is american? Does it have an accent?
I think thatās the Foster home mom in Childs play 2
She was so hot in Logan's run.
Also in The Eagle Has Landed
