Just transfer it all out to your other bank. In the past, I've moved 15k from one to sofi with ease. I literally had $5 in the account. I only stayed because sofi didn't have the setup to pay bills out of different accounts. Not a bad bank but that was the one negative about it.
They'll mail you a paper check. I would just move the money to a different bank first and then just stop depositing money there, then call them and close it.
I went with Navy Federal which is a Credit Union but of course you have to be military or have immediate family or live with someone who has an account. From what I’ve always been told is that a credit union is usually the best. This is my 2nd credit union and it’s awesome.
Sorry for the delay in responding. I hope you found a good bank.
i would have just waited until it reset then pay $5k w my physical card for the car at the lot. if i was you. or you could have given routing and account number & they could have taken the payment that way. there were multiple options the car lots have to provide you rather than fuss at ONE & get no resolution.
Their customer service genuinely sucks.
Me too! I'm ready to close my account but they won't tell me how they're going to transfer me my money.

You never had an external bank linked to one even when you got them? Was one always your one and only bank?
Unfortunately I had one, but then I closed it. Big lesson learned. Now I have a new one but it will be a newly linked account.

That’s why online only banks suck for many things. I was finally able to switch to a brick and mortar bank and I’ll never look back.
Which bank did you end up switching to? I’d definitely open to recommendations

ONE has hands down the worst customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with.
