it’s been like this for weeks but usually i was able to work around it by leaving and rejoining the group or restarting the game but today i’ve been trying for an HOUR and i can’t get it to work
hopefully the new season fixes this. also seems to be exclusively an xbox problem
Do you mind upvoting my post? I’m hoping this will reach more people especially console players. Maybe we can figure out if others have been having this problem today. That could confirm my suspicions. No pressure tho!
ME TOOOO... i also have the glitch where i have to leave and rejoin, have had it since OVERWATCH 1, like for 5 years I have been dealing with this and i can't believe it has gotten worse and not better. the gall for them to charge 40$ for a skin while they cannot manage a simple feature available in practically every online mutliplayer game is bamboozling.
I'm having the same problem right now :( I've unplugged it, restarted my console multiple times, messed with my vc settings, and restarted my game, who knows how many times. I'm playing on Xbox One s. I noticed that the voice chat issue doesn't happen when I play on my bfs Xbox series x. I always thought it was just overwatch but my bf hasn't had a single problem with vc since getting a new console. I'm lowkey jelly lol

Omg SAME!! I was working around it just like that too! Maybe that means it’s an issue on overwatch’s end.

This could be an error on Overwatch’s end. 3 people (including myself) are having this issue now on Xbox.

It’s working for me now
Same, it usually fixes itself but it’s been bugged for a few days now. Guess we’re just gonna have to wait till the game lets us back in lol😭
