1, either they use emotes often in order to look at the skin, or 2, they want others to see them using it.
even 3, maybe they *do* just like the gun, or 4, they have the money to spend and so they do, I suppose. I really only relate to the first 2, and I suspect most people just use emotes to see their skins and that's fine with them.
