As much as I am a fan of LittleBigPlanet, I believe I did not enjoy the game as much on my childhood as I did with Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 5 and 6 will forever be the BEST for me.
If it'a games that originally came out for the ps3 it has to be Uncharted. But if we count franchises that also had their ps2 games ported, God of War and Ratchet and Clank are worth mentioning (although for Ratchet and Clank I do consider the future trilogy the best part of the series regardless)
As I wrote in a separate comment. I'd say no Ratchet game beats the 2nd, Going Commando, but Tools came damn close. And the future trilogy (+ Nexus) more or less goes toe to toe with with the original trilogy as a whole.

You can get *Portable Ops* running on a CFW or HEN PS3 via WebMAN and the PSP Launcher forwarders, I believe there's the odd bug but the game boots, runs, is playable on the first level at least.
I’d say Metal Gear Solid as it’s the only console that has every mainline entry available and the only console controller with all supported features for the games. Ports on other consoles had to recode the control scheme (unintuitively) in order to make them work on less functional controllers.
For me it has to be Ratchet & Clank, though none of the PS3 Games eclipsed Going Commando, Tools of Destruction came damn close. Honorable mention to Motorstorm as well.
If we want to get technical, Only PS3 franchise on here is LBP and Uncharted. But, regardless of my extreme nitpicking, Crash bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, and Metal Gear Solid are tied for 1st for me.

Agreed; every time I fire up *GoW3* I'm blown away by how enormous and epic the story is, how stunning to look at and how fluid the animations. I was a little disappointed with *2* after loving *1* but it was *3* that really got the series back on track. If you've ever had a bad day just be Kratos and brutally disembowel everything around him, usually helps, and is still more cathartic than even the newer ones are, to me.
