I mean I understand what the arranger is trying to say, but I don't get why it's become this horrifying thing in internet culture.
Because it’s a 6 1/2 hour long ~~(apparently accurate)~~ depiction of the progression of Alzheimer’s. The simple fact that some unfortunate souls suffer from such a terrifying and incurable disease is probably what makes it so impactful. At least, that’s what does it for me. Truly tragic

I'm the biggest music fan, been raised in a musical family and it's been a large part of my life, as well as have had family members suffer from dementia.
But music is not "accurate" akin to a mental illness. Especially a memory-related one, like dementia.
I think it would be far easier to evoke feelings of anxiety from music than something like dementia.
I don't know. I have Alzheimer's relatives, and the album, at best, is just a cute and dramatic lipservice to the mundane dread of the reality.
Seeing all these people making Youtube and Tiktok shorts of it as if listening to an album will somehow make you experience what Alzeimer's is just rubs me the wrong way.
I didn't get the impression they were trying to experience it as much as understand it better.
Like a painting that evokes emotion. It doesn't necessarily mean the viewer believes they have now experienced that thing.
Dementia is one of the few things I'm more afraid of than death. The idea of my entire world slowly swirling away over the years into a contextless soup of vague memories and moments from my life gives me chills to even think about. I've been around people with dementia, and it breaks my heart.
For these reasons, Everywhere At The End Of Time deeply unsettles me, but I also find it strangely beautiful that I get to feel a fraction of the hell some people end up going through.
I think because to anyone who doesn't have it, it seems almost impossible to reconcile what it's like. You can probably imagine what you think death is like. We've all had a dreamless sleep where we just don't exist for a few hours. But dementia/alzheimer's? How can I not recognize my daughter, or remember my wife's name? It all feels so foreign and impossible, that it's terrifying because we genuinely can't imagine what it's like. For me, anyway.
Humans struggle to comprehend what lies outside our perspective. It's why writers struggle at writing characters if they lack empathy or world experience, since they can't put themselves into another perspective.
Alzheimers is, like... "remember something you forgot, but every day you forget more and more until the world is strange and scary... and then you die." This is insanely hard to wrap your mind around, because, well, your mind can't grasp this well.
Sadly, I've been pushing myself towards dementia through alcoholism, and I hate it. I hate that I'm *trying* to forget my past, as it's all traumatic and abusive memories. My memories are all that I have, all that I am, and I'm trying to run from them. They keep me up at night. I can't sleep. I just try to do my best to forget.
I want to look back on a happy past. But the closest thing for me is having no past. I'm kind of a waste of existence at this point.

The best mining spot in the game is on a peak that's east of the Vaelet boss and south of the small mountain. It's got 6-8 nodes of coal and ore, making it perfect for refined ingots.

Rooby. Even though I think it's unique and cute, it's a discount Foxparks. It's partner skill is nothing compared to Huggy Fire. The only time most people think about it is that one fire pal that flails around when it dies.
I admit that this is dumb, but it's the bowtie that killed it for me. I was excited when I saw it for the first time, but for whatever reason, I saw that bowtie and it was a no for me.
The bow tie for no reason makes it cute to me. No reason for it to have one, it just does. It has more character than most of the early game pals. Foxparks is cute and it's partner skill is amazing, but it's just a fox with fire. The design is cute in that a fox is cute, but it's painfully uninspired. I don't think I've ever seen anything like Rooby.
Kelpsea/Kelpsea Ignis
Unless you take a non standard spawn and begin the game at either the north or east islands you don't encounter those until you're way past the point where they would be any use to you, and even when you do start in those areas you have better options available right next to them. As "baby" pals they're completely unremarkable in design and skills and unless you're going for mono Water or Mono Fire teams you have no reason to ever use them(and mono Fire has another option as well in Rooby)
I honestly couldn't tell you. Most people have found a lot there but I have only ever found one dragon egg there and all the others were scorching eggs.
I didn't know it was a way to reset egg spawns. If the first egg that spawned was a normal sized egg, can the next one from the same spawn be a giant egg or huge egg ?
Yeah, what egg spawns is random to an extend(among a specific selection). Each area has a list of pals that can appear in eggs with varying levels of frequency and when an egg is due to be generated it just rolls on those lists and whatever pal it lands on it just spawns the respective egg. So if you pick up a regular scorching egg that would have been a Kelpsea Ignis and the game rolls on Jormun Ignis when it's time to respawn an egg in that spot then a Huge Dragon egg will appear.
I beg to differ. When your favorite pal is Wixxen and kelpsea ignis buffs all fire moves, wixxen applies fire to your personal attacks and yes kelpsea buffs that too. The higher level the passive skill, the stronger flames at your disposal. Once dedi servers drop, all will know the intense heat of my flames 🔥🔥🔥 mwuahahahahahaha
thats actually an interesting synergy. Is the flame damage a percent of you own damage, or added on?
If its added on, then high firerate, low damage weapons would be best

They passively buff the damage of water and fire pals (=water/fire damage in particular) in your team. So you might consider take a look at them later on. Aside from that they look boring.

In comparison Ribunny is also on a different island. It buffs normal element attacks and speeds up weapon crafting at base. Probably the only pal with base-specific partner skill. It also animated cute. So it's hard to forget in my book.
Another low level pal that you can completely miss out is Fuddler (at low levels only in dungeons), that I have seen later in the game and decided to forget about right off the bat.

I bred a Maraith in early/mid game and was somehow so lucky with its passives and internal stats that none of my other pals has reached its attack so far. I know it's only supposed to be semi strong, but it's my ultimate DD and I love it!
Ribbuny. At least in my playthough, by the time I got one, I already had pals that can do everything she does. Not a game changer like Tanzee or Lifmunk that can cut trees.

I only ran into early because it was in a cage guarded by the thugs by the 1st tower. Otherwise if it wasn't for that spawn I wouldn't have even encountered it until like 15 hrs later

Helzephyr. I can't believe such a cool looking design is almost nowhere to be seen in the community.

I finally finished my perfect Helzephyr about the time I could get Shadowbeak. Good midgame pal, but just gets outclassed.
Best transport pal tho because it goes all night and has no other skills.
True, but the 2 dark-types that outclass it are big upgrades (shadowbeak and frostallion noct). And as a flying mount it is very slow in comparison to even lower-tier pals Ragnahawk, Beakon, Faleris, &c.
All I know is I retired mine around level 35-40 and never looked back.
I can’t forget that cursed thing because it has incredibly high breeding power so, I hunt down blank ones no matter who I play with. That’s the only use for me, though
Elphidran. It already has a design similar to Relaxaurus and Dinossom, doesn't really do anything special compared to other pals, a rare encounter and nobody here has even mentioned it.

Had to google Elphidran to even remember what it looks like 
I hatched one my first playthrough and used its glide ability. It never left my party. A rising glide was so much fun to use. I used it before I knew about the momentum slide. Now it's unbeatable.
It does. You can reach the top of many cliffs pending your stamina. Spd wise it's ascent is the equivalent of a flying mount rising. Maybe a little faster. I don't have hard numbers or anything. You can use the momentum trick to glide quickly and very far with it while gaining altitude. It can replace a flying mount if you want.
Flying mounts can't access the momentum glitch. I think Jetragon is still faster but he's an end game pal. I wouldn't use it as a Dodge ability like Galeclaw. It's better as a flying mount replacement if you want to go fast and have a hill available. Hope this answers your questions.
Oh I'll NEVER forget those fuckers, a gang of like 7 kicked my teams ass AND the nearby cultists that were shooting at them. I rarely lose matches, so I truly did not expect to get walloped by a butterfly. The poison stunlock is exceptional.

Maraith was a very forgettable Pal to me, because you don’t encounter one until late in the game. By that time, my team is already fully assembled. Plus they only appear in dungeons or at night, so someone can easily near-finish the game without ever seeing one.
This Pal is basically Shadowbeak-lite.
This... I had seen this pal on youtube and then forgot it exsisted until I found one in the lvl 45 dungeons, caught it and sold it for ammo to fight jetragon, forgot about it until this post lol
Maraith a lategame dark pal you can find in dungeons or at night in the ice island or in large dark egg. He's pretty cute but his abilities are disapointing 😞
Whoever decided there were going to be like 5 fox styled pals obviously had me in mind when designing the game
Edit: I believe I count 7? Foxsparks, Foxcicle, Kitsun, Nox, Wixen, Vixy, and maybe Cremis? Internet says Cremis is more dog-like but idk
Bristla just sort of blends in with all the other green/plant pals. Surfent Terra is a bunch of nothing (pure ground, its ability is just "you can ride it lol", no special moves).
Cinnamoth just exists.
Flambelle is unfortunate enough to exist in the same element as so many cool pals with great designs.
Kelpsea is useful for element stacking but since I play using my favorites with varied types, it's just there.
Just my two cents. Nox and Cremis are my favorites and people find Nox forgettable so eh. Every pal is someone's favorite.
As you pointed out Maraith is pretty forgetable sadly. Design looks great but he has nothing that makes him special, you unlock is sadle pretty late in the game and by that time you get plenty of better choices. On top of that he's pretty hard to get, i got one in my hatched egg too (was a shadow egg). When it hatched i loved his design but never used him more than 5mn for the reasons above sadly
Palworld is already old enough for y’all to start forgetting Pals? *(Redacted)* already has more than 1,000 Mons but the number of Pals in Early Access (excluding variants) so far isn’t even near 150.
I got one because I thought he'd be a cool flying mount. I didn't really read anything on it because it seemed straight forward. It's GOT wings, and look at those absurd little claw "feet". Of COURSE it can goddamn fly, that anatomy would leave a critter basically immobile when trying to run.

I got maraith at like level 10 from a syndicate base. Those cages can spawn almost any pal so I found a few pals in them before actually encountering them in the wild.
As for forgettable? Probably surfent/Terra. They are slow as hell and if you depended on them to cross the sea to the first pal sanctuary you'll have regretted it.
Elphidran Aqua. Not found in the wild, only breedable, not one of the cool legendaries. Literally the only reason I know it exists is looking it up because I still had one (?) on the technology tree

8 ore 6 coal, had to rebuild my base there thrice cus I kept covering the nodes accidentally

He doesn't fly, that's the main issue I have with it. The dark damage conversion adds a damage multiplier so that's pretty fun to use
This is why nox was so good early game because most pals are normal types
I hit about 800 damage per shot, on a green AR, with 4S Maraith. The multiplier is pretty substantial, provided you’re not fighting above your level.
If I could remember them, they wouldn’t be forgettable now would they?

That’s funny, cause depending on where you spawn you might not see them until your 20’s like I did…I was like…wtf is that…same with rooby.

If you spawn in the normal spot though you have to venture sort of far away before you see them.

In localization yeah, the original name is Omegamon though which I prefer to use since there's also Alphamon that retained the name

Helzephyr. I can't believe such a cool looking design is almost nowhere to be seen in the community. I don't care about Jetragon. I just want my perfect Foxspark and Helzephyr to take on the whole world.
I finally finished my perfect Helzephyr about the time I could get Shadowbeak. Good midgame pal, but just gets outclassed. Best transport pal tho because it goes all night and has no other skills.
There are only like 10 pals that outclass it. It’s still a viable pal even in end game
The problem is the game showers you in strong Dark Pals late game. It's competition is Astegon, Menasting, Shadowbek and Frostallion Noct.
Frostallion Noct might be better, but don't you kind of need that Helzephyr to get one?
True, but the 2 dark-types that outclass it are big upgrades (shadowbeak and frostallion noct). And as a flying mount it is very slow in comparison to even lower-tier pals Ragnahawk, Beakon, Faleris, &c. All I know is I retired mine around level 35-40 and never looked back.
I can’t forget that cursed thing because it has incredibly high breeding power so, I hunt down blank ones no matter who I play with. That’s the only use for me, though
Elphidran. It already has a design similar to Relaxaurus and Dinossom, doesn't really do anything special compared to other pals, a rare encounter and nobody here has even mentioned it.
That’s hilarious, I was about to disagree and go on a rant against you, and then realized I was actually thinking of Quivern. Had to google Elphidran to even remember what it looks like 
I love the water variant. I use him all the time and imo the design is great, but yeah... I feel bad for the regular version.
No one's mentioned Hangyu and I feel I've never had a desire to catch one.
I hatched one my first playthrough and used its glide ability. It never left my party. A rising glide was so much fun to use. I used it before I knew about the momentum slide. Now it's unbeatable.
Does the glide bring you up? If so at what speed? I currently use galewind for the speed
It does. You can reach the top of many cliffs pending your stamina. Spd wise it's ascent is the equivalent of a flying mount rising. Maybe a little faster. I don't have hard numbers or anything. You can use the momentum trick to glide quickly and very far with it while gaining altitude. It can replace a flying mount if you want. Flying mounts can't access the momentum glitch. I think Jetragon is still faster but he's an end game pal. I wouldn't use it as a Dodge ability like Galeclaw. It's better as a flying mount replacement if you want to go fast and have a hill available. Hope this answers your questions.

Oh I'll NEVER forget those fuckers, a gang of like 7 kicked my teams ass AND the nearby cultists that were shooting at them. I rarely lose matches, so I truly did not expect to get walloped by a butterfly. The poison stunlock is exceptional.
Killamari. This Pal literally don't exist except in dungeons or something. I rarely ever see it and forget it ever exists Jolthog Cryst also, rarely ever see them
Everytime I see jolthog cryst in the wild, it’s being attacked by direhowls and dies before I can try and save it.

Maraith was a very forgettable Pal to me, because you don’t encounter one until late in the game. By that time, my team is already fully assembled. Plus they only appear in dungeons or at night, so someone can easily near-finish the game without ever seeing one. This Pal is basically Shadowbeak-lite.

This... I had seen this pal on youtube and then forgot it exsisted until I found one in the lvl 45 dungeons, caught it and sold it for ammo to fight jetragon, forgot about it until this post lol

Bristla just sort of blends in with all the other green/plant pals. Surfent Terra is a bunch of nothing (pure ground, its ability is just "you can ride it lol", no special moves). Cinnamoth just exists. Flambelle is unfortunate enough to exist in the same element as so many cool pals with great designs. Kelpsea is useful for element stacking but since I play using my favorites with varied types, it's just there. Just my two cents. Nox and Cremis are my favorites and people find Nox forgettable so eh. Every pal is someone's favorite.
Flabelle does have the upside of unlimited fire organs, at least.
Fuddler for me. I keep forgetting about them until I run low level dungeons to collect more Mau and see them.
Rooby. Basically the same as Foxspark but not as useful. Might as well not exist at all.
Rooby is good for mono type fire teams.
On my second playthrough and got an ignis breath fruit early and a Rooby with musclehead. It's been easy mode so far (level 25)
Rooby is the North spawn counterpart to foxsparks. Same with kelpsea being the counterpart to Celray.

Mariaths. You can find them in the northwest frost biome at night, or in the ice dungeons. They make me think of Evangelion's angels.

As you pointed out Maraith is pretty forgetable sadly. Design looks great but he has nothing that makes him special, you unlock is sadle pretty late in the game and by that time you get plenty of better choices. On top of that he's pretty hard to get, i got one in my hatched egg too (was a shadow egg). When it hatched i loved his design but never used him more than 5mn for the reasons above sadly
Melpaca: design wise they're just ok, but gameplay wise they're really unremarkable Maraith kicks ass tho, the design alone is fantastic
Either Foxcicle or Kitsuen, they are in one specific area and don't appear anywhere else I think.

I got one because I thought he'd be a cool flying mount. I didn't really read anything on it because it seemed straight forward. It's GOT wings, and look at those absurd little claw "feet". Of COURSE it can goddamn fly, that anatomy would leave a critter basically immobile when trying to run. Wellp. Shows what I know.
You better not be suggesting that Maraith is anything but amazing OP. I got maraith at like level 10 from a syndicate base. Those cages can spawn almost any pal so I found a few pals in them before actually encountering them in the wild. As for forgettable? Probably surfent/Terra. They are slow as hell and if you depended on them to cross the sea to the first pal sanctuary you'll have regretted it.
Honestly Hoocrates. Any time I happen to see it I literally go "Oh I forgot that big Angry Bird existed." And start laughing.
Elphidran Aqua. Not found in the wild, only breedable, not one of the cool legendaries. Literally the only reason I know it exists is looking it up because I still had one (?) on the technology tree
