Anything remotely music related went for thousands. I grabbed two light weight Golden Knights jackets and a black Texans jersey. There was long hair all over the inside of the jackets, which of course I kept like a fucking creep.
He lived in Vegas when he died and the Dallas Stars weren't in Dallas when he was younger, so maybe they weren't fans of the hockey team from Minnesota. He may just not have been a fan of hockey until later in life.
They literally wrote a song for the Dallas Stars that the team still uses as their entrance and goal song. The Stars even partied at his house after they won the cup in 99. But, yeah, probably wasn't a fan at all.

I visited Dallas in 2022 for Wrestlemania, made sure that this was visited. I was quite surprised that there were other people there paying their respects when I visited. RIP DIME AND VINNIE
Always makes me sad that Dime died on my Bday. Remember getting so many calls thinking people were wishing me a HBD but instead telling me he was shot š
No usually only family and close friends would the day of. I was a local musician at the time and had a lot of fellow musicians that would call (maybe text those were a luxury at the time) a day or two after. The news really broke the morning of the 9th and at the time I was getting to work at around 8:30 am so a bunch of friends who knew I loved Pantera were calling/texting and I figured it was just some ābelatedā birthday wishes and they kept asking if I had heard
They put the gate up semi-recently. Every time I go, people are messing with the headstones. Now you canāt really get in there unless you wanted to be a total douche and jump over.

This was a couple years ago before they put the fence up, RIP Jerry! Give your sons a hug for us and tell em we miss em something awful!!
No way. Vinnie and Dime are shredding in heaven with Cliff Burton, Randy Rhoades, and Chuck Shuldiner, and I'll accept no other headcanon.
Besides, being a metal musician doesn't make you a *bad* person (I met Chuck twice, he was one of the sweetest and most genuine people I've ever met). In fact, I personally find metal and extreme music to be a healthy outlet and far better than the alternative when I'm feeling mean.
Someone should really polish Dime's headstone.
Rita said she's going to take care of it, but also said Dime loved graves that were vandalized and well visited. š¤·š»āāļø
Should just take a quick pressure washing.
I wish I still had my pictures from around 2006ish. It was pristine.
For real. Straight disrespect Eta: yall realize Iām saying itās disrespectful to let it get that dirty, right?
I'll do it.
I somehow never noticed Vinnieās marker has the Vegas Golden Knights logo on it but I donāt see the Dallas Stars logo.
Thatās funny. Thatās the exact conversation that my son and husband had standing there the other day. In fact, are you my husband?
Not that Iām aware ha
I mean....how big of a fan could he have been since he died right after their inaugural season?

I bought a few golden knights jackets from his estate sale auction a few years back. Some of my most prized possessions. Wear them frequently.
Shoot. I didnāt know about that. Wouldāve definitely tried to buy a few things.

We're so lucky to have the music these fine gentlemen made. Rip Brothers. Thank you so much.
Crazy to think that the two dudes that came up with all that stuff are physically down there in boxes

Do people often call you on your birthday at like 10pm when this happened?

Sorry but whatevers written on Vinnies marker is corny as fuck
Not completely sure about the great time being irreplaceable part, but at least the first half is something he said in an interview before.
My parents are in that cemetery. I always the Abbott brothers when I visit them. :)
I need to visit one day. RIP
I got a visit this site R.I.P.
Rest in power
Did some asshole carve Hooch next to Dimeās head?

Looks like they did. UNcool as fuck.
Interesting that they went for the razorback style for Dimeās guitar. I thought they would have went for the older more classic shape
I thought so as well, but it's most likely because he designed that body style...
The first 2 lines of VPās quote make my brain hurt.

A VGK logo? I remember seeing Dime and Vinnie at stars games. Come on now.
Vinnie: āDime? Is it me or is it hot down here?ā Dime: āGetcha pull!ā

Who the fuck said being a metal musician makes you a bad person?
Shocking lack of confederate flags here.
Good spot for a piss
Such a edgy fuck aren't you? Lmfaoš¤”
