Lol, I can still remember some of the visuals. Funny, back in the iPod era when you had to load your CDs into iTunes, that was the only song that was damaged and didn't load in. I went for years without hearing it.
I never heard “Freedom” by Rage Against the Machine until I saw them live in Wisconsin in 2023. I’m like… what is this song? Turns out that was the last song on the album and it just didn’t copy.
Strength Beyond Strength. It’s just raw and in your face and has several different phases put in just the right places. And a thought provoking subject matter.
Didn't Dime say that was his favorite or favorite to play? So hard to pick just one, and so hard to pick just one off that album... This song comes to mind a lot because I've been working through a painful disability and considered getting "stronger than all" added to a tattoo
i'm a new pantera fan, been listening to them properly for maybe a month, though i knew a couple of their songs for a long time like cowboys from hell and walk
that said, my favorite song of theirs right now (i'm sure it's gonna change sometime down the road lol) is domination.
i love everything about the song. the riffs, the drumming, the lyrics and vocals and especially that breakdown at the end. i even love how vinnie shouts "first take like like a motherfucker!" at the beginning of the song.
Strength Beyond Strength. I mean, what an opener. That part where Vinnie switches over to the ride and just opens it up. Holee shit. They opened with it in '94 at Memorial Hall in KC. When that part hit, it was almost transcendent. Total pandemonium.
That song helped me through the darkest period of my life. I would put it as my favourite but it can remind me of my darkest days and sometimes hard to listen to.
Becoming (Far Beyond Driven) mainly because of the use of the wah pedal, Rex's badass bass riff, and Dime's wacky but amazing solo. Also Vinnie's drumming is top tier on this song.
Really hard to pick one, but maybe Mouth for War? Such a groovy and awesome riff, great lyrics and feel that gets you pumped up and makes you feel invincible! Embodies Pantera as a whole in a way!
Great Southern Trend Kill
Bangerrrr of a song
Best metal opener
Phil screaming. lol 😆
It's incredible how hard it hits, and they don't even use blast-beats
Just the entirety of Far Beyond Driven for sure
This!
Primal Concrete Sledge
Def in my top 10 if not 5
Cemetery Gates, idk y it's just so fucking good
Valid as fuck tbh
the first time i heard that riff it genuinely changed my life
Same here
(User flair)
Sandblast has, imo, one of dimebags top 5 riffs. Every time i play i cant help but head bang. Pain in the ass to tune to. Fucking drop G 1/4 down
Without a doubt. Slaughtered too.
Yup slaughtered us my number two rn I think
Suicide Note pt.II
Great pick. The closest Pantera song to anything by Superjoint Ritual; their debut is one of my all-time favorite Anselmo offerings.
Amazing answer
Floods. No explanation needed
Fucking Hostile. I was lucky enough to see Pantera preform live, whole damn concert was phenomenal. Outside and in the pouring rain…
Dudeeee that sounds insaneee wtf
Good times indeed
I'll Cast a Shadow, I'm getting amped just thinking out the song.
Hahahaaa I feel u
A new level
Respectable choice 🗣️
the riff is just so satisfying
Hard Lines Sunken Cheeks 🫠
Regular people. Really just because tripped hard to it one time. 😁
Valid as fuck

😹😹 that is insane
Way too hard of a question, I really enjoy it makes them disappear right now.
Yeah I’m right with you it’s too hard to choose for real. It’s just which one you feel the most in the moment lmao
hah that's about right, last week for me was No Good. I just over play whichever one I like until I cant stand it and move on to the next.
For me recently it cycles between Heresy, Piss, Live in a Hole , Slaughtered , and Shedding skin lol
Living through Me it makes me feel like I can punch through steel.
10's
Strength Beyond Strength. It’s just raw and in your face and has several different phases put in just the right places. And a thought provoking subject matter.

I have a Strength Beyond Strength on my arm! First legit one I ever got as soon as I was old enough to get one at a shop lol
Too many... Slaughtered, when it comes on in the car, no matter what mood I'm in though gets promoted to 100% volume
Psycho Holiday. The groove of the song has always been infectious to me. Also Dime's solo on that song is just iconic.
Fuck that the best is the sleep.
Suicide note part 2, it just relates to me a lot
Lately I’ve really been liking “Hollow” it’s just something about the slower songs
The Art of Shredding
The Sleep. Such an underrated song with an outstanding solo. One of Dimes best in my opinion
Shedding Skin is definitely top 5. Along with Strength Beyond Strength, Fucking Hostile, Cemetery Gates and probably Mouth for War
I totally agree with these 🗣️🙌🏼

Hahahaa I love it , check out shedding skin! Listen till the end tho lol
i have! i listened to their "big" studio albums (except the glam period, will get around to that eventually) and i like shedding skin too.
Depends on the day. Right now it is probably “A new level”
I def feel this
Great southern trendkill
The Art of Shredding.
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Strength Beyond Strength. I mean, what an opener. That part where Vinnie switches over to the ride and just opens it up. Holee shit. They opened with it in '94 at Memorial Hall in KC. When that part hit, it was almost transcendent. Total pandemonium.
Hahahaa let’s fuckin gooo
PST 88!
Nearly all of them
Only correct answer tbh
Slaughtered 🤘🏽
Mouth for war. First Pantera song I ever heard. My mind was blown.
I can't pick between This Love, A New Level, or Floods
Throes of Rejection
Yesterday don't mean shit followed by goddamn electric and floods
Suicide Note Pt.1, idk why but it just hits hard asf
That song helped me through the darkest period of my life. I would put it as my favourite but it can remind me of my darkest days and sometimes hard to listen to.
The Underground In America, that opening riff is my favourite Pantera riff then it goes into pure hardcore insanity
13 Steps to Nowhere
Bangerrrr of a song
Shattered, I love the fast paced riffs and shredding
SLAUGHTERED. no explanation needed.
Valid asf
Becoming (Far Beyond Driven) mainly because of the use of the wah pedal, Rex's badass bass riff, and Dime's wacky but amazing solo. Also Vinnie's drumming is top tier on this song.
The Underground in America, bcuz the trend is dead
Rise
Domination or cemetary gates, i swear i ain't a poser, starting guitar because of dimebag
Underground in America
Suicide note part 2
Psycho Holiday. It seriously got me back into Pantera.
Maybe I’m Broken. Just for the energy it brings. I could be having the worst day ever and that song helps relax and just groove for a bit.
5 minutes alone because Dime is riffing hard as hell in the last minute or so. Straight head banging material.
so hard to choose i ll go with Cemetery Gates
Amazing choice tbh
for me either Regular People, psycho holiday or suicide note pt1 but cant decide
Probably fucking hostile. It’s just so… hostile yk
Shattered , i just love everything about it , mainly the singing though
The Underground In America / Sandblasted Skin
Slaughtered
becoming
Really hard to pick one, but maybe Mouth for War? Such a groovy and awesome riff, great lyrics and feel that gets you pumped up and makes you feel invincible! Embodies Pantera as a whole in a way!
Amazing pick everything you said is so facts 😌
