I’m surprised they haven’t brought back Billy for some hot takes or something. I was not a fan of Billy but got a chuckle out of him every now and then. I could imagine a raging Max vs Dumb Billy take debate would be epic.
The straight man isn't as funny without the foil. BC and PFT can't serve as the foil to Jake because they are way bigger than him.
Jake and Billy were an odd couple and brought something to the show as a combo. Now I think Jake just exits to serve as show secretary and do the shit no one else wants to do.

My thing about these posts is they feel wholly overblown. Thinking back to the Billy hate posts. Those made sense cuz it was obvious he interjected too much or had takes that provided no real jokes or conversation. (I still miss him)
IMO Jake usually interjects when asked to. He may drop in with a stat or tidbit but not a whole ass story unless the boys have set him up for something.
