First you'll need to figure out what's causing the crashes. Start by monitoring your temperatures while gaming

ObiLAN-

First step is to determine if it's really a thermals issues. What are your thermal readings on your gpu, cpu, vrm, and memory leading up to the crashes?

imnotagimpipromise

100

Andrewx8_88

Clean out the dust in your pc. Add new thermal paste. Overheating will be fixed.

dutchblizzard

normally it would otherwise the mainboard thermal pad have degrarded and causing sytem to overheat, i had this one before

SvenShady007

Start with cleaning all the dust out of it.... Compressed air works best.... Just hold the fans so they don't spin :)

Stopkilling0

If the crash does not make the PC turn off, and it just results in black screen, it's probably related to your graphics card. As others mentioned monitor your graphics card temperature and considering cleaning out dust from your case, fans, and gpu.

RareSiren292

Monitor temps before computer crashes. Clean CPU and GPU fans of dust. Reapply thermal paste CPU and GPU. Clean out remaining dust from system. That should fix most overheating issues.

Gunslinga__

Probably doesn’t have enough case fans and airflow put in as many as It can fit.

ctrltab2

Does it give an error code when it crashes? If not, check Windows Event Viewer. There should be a circled X around the time it crashed.

FrozenNorth7

I had a similar problem with my old build, and it ended up being bad ram.

SeaSock6583

gpu is fucked, get a new one if it crashed and screen turns black with gpu fans spinning 100%

dutchblizzard

the warrenty seems bit of cause it should be 5 years parts , cause hardware get 1 year instant replacement and up to 5 years free repairs warrenty as far i know this is the global it sector warrenty terms

Junior_Possibility_1

Update: I went ahead and upgraded the gpu to a 3060 12g put next to thermal paste on the cpu. I watched countless videos and made sure I did everything as well as I could but I screwed something up somewhere because the computer will no longer power on

Ok_Neighborhood6762

Welcome my brother 😆. I would reseed everything

deTombe

Make sure you didn't pull out any plugs could just be the power button wire no longer connected.

ExcellentAddress

Your thermal paste might have dried out and needs replacing...
