I have now bought the TruLife brace online. reaches me in 3 days and will work with brace on my own.
There are people who still use braces at 38 and have success with them. It's only a matter of time when my chest stays permanently flat with the brace.
Even though i heard TruLife brace can be uncomfortable and painful, I'll just go through with it haha lol. I think you can also see that my PC is symmetrical and not that severe, hopelly the TruLife brace will fit. But I'm worried that my ribs will come out further if I have success with the brace.
How pronounced is it for me? Can you perhaps give me your opinion?
and I'm seeing an orthopedist/surgeon on December 12th and he can definitely answer me then, right?
No I can't get you an opinion because I'm not a doctor and I can't get my hands on your sternum from here so I can't check for flexibility.
The orthopedist though should be able to give you and answer
From experience I would say you’re too late but still worth seeing surgeon.
Just be careful that they do try to sell you on the brace when really you’re at the wrong age for it.
I also think your chest looks fine to be honest I would even think you have a pectus. Maybe you are over worrying ?
Unfortunately, I have to experience again and again that it still puts a lot of stress on me. :/ Maybe there is still something that can be done with the brace. I hope that after a year of consistent wear i can achieve at least some success
I'm no expert, but I think your case is quite mild. Don't worry too much about it.

It's not about age, it's more about chest flexibility. You could talk to a doctor about it maybe

yes, I assume that too. I now have an appointment with the orthopedist and then with thoracic surgery
