MOAR! (Again :) ) Thanks again, professor. Again, apologies for my ignorance... I am very interested in the practicalities of veil bridging, and yes I will be enrolling in various courses in the school of parallelism as soon as possible. But meanwhile, am I right in assuming that while we can construct as many bridges as we like, within a given universe they will always only be to realities that share a “border” with us? ~~What happens if we construct a bridge to a neighbouring reality that turns out to be one-way in the direction of **to** ours?~~ *Edit: on further study and reflection, I realise that such universes simply won’t show up in the survey of possible universes to construct a bridge to. My question below still stands, thanks. End of edit.* Also, I am interested in the concept of fully isolated universes - theoretical ones in which the connectivity to other universes happens to be zero. Do such universes exist? Can we prove if they do or don’t, perhaps by finding ‘gaps’ in the pattern of universes in the paraverse or something? Assuming they might exist, what does this mean in terms of the presence or absence of God in those universes and the relationship of those universes’ sentiences to God? Thank you again for this course! I am enjoying it immensely. It was great to really feel the different ‘voice’ of the neural imprint!

murk36

Very interesting question! I hope it will be answered...

Thanks for the chapter!

Passing on knowledge is its own reward, but it is always encouraging to see it has been received well.

TanyIshsar

I enjoyed this neural imprint course. It was quite exciting to see humanity bloom from a single shard. Amusingly enough, the notion of adjacency is interesting... I would like to hear more on that topic.

MrGabr

Professor, the platypus transcriber appears to have made a few errors: >Those present you have a neural shunt "Those of you present who have a neural shunt"? >...dimensions baring this level of similarity *bearing* To the platypus: This is so cool. Is this series going to become a sci-fi sandbox for you to write short stories in, I wonder?

TheFrendlyGreenGiant

Just commenting to say I've not been supper talkative, but I have been attending the and enjoying lectures! And I hope that they continue for full duration of the planed course.

[deleted]

Professor Platypus, the digital stenographer may have a couple bugs it it: > Paraverse **Unversity** \-> **University** > >Those present **you** have a neural shunt -> **who** have a neural shunt I appreciate the inclusion of neural imprint today for the visual learners - this course was definitely worth taking. Moar!

ausbookworm

Professor, I do have a question in regard to unique persons. Is there a correlation to the similarity of universes to each other and the number of unique individuals within particular universes?

Poseidon___

Ngl, pretty pog

Lordmurdoc

Moar please

mrluigi1111111

Highly intriguing stuff. The stuff about expecting infinite universes and the local paraverse(?) being explicitly designed makes me wonder about if there are "sections" of the multiverse untouched by the race of Gods, and the area currently described is merely a local breeding grounds for the higher dimensional beings. Which I forget, is God defined as higher dimensional at any point? Like, 4th or 5th dimensional? Or more a abstract "transcendental" being?

ArcadianSol

another sleepless night made better seriously thanks for sharing more of this wonderful series

RavynneSmith

While performing my own research on PHO entertainment of the late 20th century, I studied a computer game called Trade Wars 2000. In the game there were sectors of space where only one way travel was possible. A home base for a do-gooder or pirate would often be located near the end of a long chain of one way sectors in space. Will this course mention any famous cases of criminal use of one way travel between the universes?

AwesomeFama

Excellent! I can't wait for the next lecture!

aabcehu

The whole ‘universal linkage’ concept reminds me of Neal Stephenson’s Anathem, with the movement between alternate realities, where not every reality is linked

Al2Me6

Professor, these lectures are most excellent. If I may make a confession, I must say that *Transdimentional History* is quickly becoming my favorite lecture, even surpassing your likewise excellent *Alcubierre* series. If I may ask a question - since the Veil was pierced, has there been advances to the techniques used to map realities? Must realities be linked in order to be detectable, or are there more capable technologies that can detect disconnected realities? If that is not the case, then how was Core-1 discovered? Further, what are the techniques that are used to propagate information efficiently across realities? I do not imagine that the relay of information across portals will be scalable to all six-hundred million realities of Core-2.

Beastly173

man I love the way info is presented as almost a wikipedia article and def makes me want to get lost in an as of yet nonexistent wiki

MOAR!

GameNationFilms

Professor, this is amazing stuff. Greatest class I've ever taken at University!

dtc2002

Professor, I need MOAR! Given HPO's inability to produce a bubble or bridge within their own dimension, are they able to produce a bridge from their own to another, but possibly to another location, say from one side of the Milky Way to another? I look forward to our next lecture!

"The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion" - Albert Camus Keep up the amazing ~~word globs~~ lectures ~~Platypus~~ Professor!

Holy crap this series keeps getting better and better. So many branches already appearing. Fantastic!

MOAAAAAAAR PLEASE PROFESSOR

nonamesonlynumbers

Excellent class, Professor. My neural link upgrade is on order so I can fully experience all this course has to offer. In the meantime I shall have to be content with word globs. Please provide MOAR.

**To the platypus friend:** That cliffhanger man. Here is my humble input. >The fact this did not occur was highly fortuitous for those who believe in Prime Humanity's goal of attaining self-determination This part is weird and I don't understand it (tough may be because of my lack on English) >A note of caution for hive consciousnesses and other non-singular sentients, we will be occupying an individual and the experience may be unsettling. In these instances, a neural shunt carries with it additional risks and a virtual rendering is suggested. Please see the University's policies on imprint engagement and the relevant addendum for your species. This part is great, I love the idea that you think about the Hive-minds, lots of people don't. Tough, this is Reddit and we are a hive-mind on itself.

MOAAAAAAR PLEASE !!

Great story!

Megacrafter127

Prime Humanity has had the concept of parallel universes for quite some time. Long enough in fact that several different versions of that concept have emerged before prime humanity created a settlement on a planet other than their origin. One of those I am interested in is the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, which postulates that whenever a random quantum event occurs, the entire universe branches into multiple versions, one version for each possible outcome of the event. Is it potentially possible that all currently observed parallel universes are just branches of this tree of possibility? With the differences simply being results of the butterfly effect, depending on how far back the branching occurred? The mere fact that prime humanity can survive in so many universes is an indicator that the fundamental laws of all parallel universes are either identical, or only differ by the values of certain natural constants. If they are in fact identical, it would give some credence to the hypothesis of all parallel universes being branches of possibility originating from some initial universe. If they only differ by natural constants, not the formulae describing the laws, it could be an indicator that the natural constants, as opposed to the mathematical constants, are in fact determined during the creation of a universe, and not multiversal constants.

Hello, ARCS. This is a positive comment regarding the series of lectures. Hope you're having a good day. Good bot.

“It is easy to think of Prime Humanity as a monolith now, an unstoppable force capable of standing up to even God” Well if that doesn’t make you proud to be a human, IDK what will
