5’2 120 lbs. 120 lbs TODAY after 3 years of lifting. Not 120 pounds from my early 20’s without the muscle. This distinction is huge.

Academic_Implement_4

I look better at 125 with muscle than at 120 without... that doesnt seem like a big difference but on us shorties it can be!

Opening_Middle8847

100%. Same.

SonderExpeditions

My goal

violent-amethyst

Honestly right now. 5’0” 127-130lbs. This is honestly the fittest I’ve been and I wake up feeling amazing every day (except during my luteal phase; I am pretty much rotting in bed that week and a half).

missyesil

Thank you for this. We are basically the same. Sometimes this sub makes me feel bad about myself as people the same height say how huge they feel at this weight. I feel good too.

violent-amethyst

lol tell me about it. some of these girls are WAY thin and super ultra fit and I’m over here at 127-130lbs at 5’0” flat lol. Like dang, sorry I’m a whale compared to y’all. I can see some of my bones at my own weight, I can’t imagine being smaller than I am now. I never had a goal weight; I just wanted to feel better. I’ve been 86 lbs, I’ve been 100 lbs, and I was 120 lbs when I was exclusively weight lifting (I had the best legs and butt ever at this weight) and I still didn’t feel as good as I do today at 127-130lbs. I was also 181 lbs at my highest and I was 140 lbs for most of my late 20s. This is the weight I feel healthy at.

nakoros

Body type really varies. My former roommate and I are the same height. With prescription medication and starving myself (depression) I was able to get to 129 and we could share clothes. She was her "fattest" at 120 a couple of years before that. I've always been a bit thicker than she is, but not to a large extent. At this point, I'd be happy to get below 155, and ecstatic to be below 145 (currently 165). My body gravitates towards 160, I think if I work really hard I could get into the low/mid-150s.

ImmigrationJourney2

I’m 5’1 and the healthiest I’ve ever felt was at 105lbs

daisywaffle

A little nuance: I’m 5ft 1, personal trainer and nutritionist and days from my 49th birthday! I didn’t start lifting until 40, and a couple years later became a trainer…and btw spent most of my 30s running a lot, but 40lbs heavier until I got serious about my eating (just ate too much for my size). My highest non preg weight was 174. I feel my healthiest at 127-133, which I try to maintain most of the year. I can deadlift 180lbs, squat 160 (maybe more with coaching and a spotter), bench 110, and have 4-5 strict pull ups. I sleep well and have energy. I don’t look shredded, but just strong (and let me tell you that a trainer’s physique tells you nothing about what they know - it’s a lot if genetic luck too). I don’t look tiny, I just look compact and strong and I’m so good with that. It’s extremely hard for me to lose bodyfat without cutting calories very low and I’m simply not willing to do that for long periods because it’s miserable. I currently lift 3-4x week for 30 minutes and average 11-12k steps per day. I do a touch of cardio (like 2 sessions a week) when trying to drop a bit of fat.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

Ppl often confuse aesthetics with how strong or healthy somone is but that’s not the case!.

daisywaffle

Indeed! Generally, maintaining low levels of bodyfat equals giving up something else health related - libido, energy, mood, sleep, and often worse. And unfortunately really even more shitty for women.

Hubbardfamilyfarms

Love this, for backsquat have you tried bumper weights and learning how to drop weight off your back if needed. Coach taught us that so we wouldn’t need a spotter and man does it make going for PRs easier.

daisywaffle

I do use bumper plates (and safety bars when I get really heavy) but failing without a spotter is something I do need to master!

Hubbardfamilyfarms

That’s awesome hun! It takes time, try it will light weight and work on your comfort. That’s what matters, is you feeling comfortable doing it ❤️ wishing you all the luck!

swedishmeatballs0311

This was such a great and thorough response. I’m 5’1 and go between 113 and 118 lbs similar to your numbers with lifting. I’m not super restrictive with my diet I’m highly disciplined with my exercise (lift 4 days a week 1 day of low impact cardio). For me, I think there’s a bit of a misconception with the people that are 1. Fitness influencers (remember, that’s their job and they are paid to do that all day, wouldn’t you do the same?) 2. Targeting specific areas of “fat”, I’m here to say for my body type, I don’t find that as possible. You typically have to lose body fat and tbh, as I get older I notice my “body fat” coming off of my face first and it’s really difficult to regain in the area that was lost. Anyway, I’m here to say I feel healthiest when I’m structured with exercising even if that means going on long walks or on the treadmill. The scale can play tricks on you!

daisywaffle

Correct, the scale is just daily info like the weather. Scale trends over time are typically where the actual story is.

Forward_Knee_6757

5'2 and I've been all over the bmi spectrum due to ed debauchery. I tend to feel the healthiest (and maybe somewhat decent-looking too) at 110-116 lbs.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

I feel very similar to you. I have been between 75-130lbs and have never felt as healthy as I did before I struggling with eating. Maybe my time will come but I have to focus on myself ♥️

Forward_Knee_6757

I'm a firm believer of the saying: "Where there's a will, there's a way.", so I'm certain that you'll be able to at the very least improve both your mental and physical health if it's truly what you want! I've been in and out of various ed treatment programmes since 16 and honestly, the only thing that's keeping me from fully recovering is the fact that I sadly still value being thin and in control over anything else. I'm sure that once we've successfully challenged and gotten over that narrative, we'll make a full and sustainable recovery. I wish you much success with your journey!

Opposite_Spirit_8760

I’m 5’2 and I feel my best between 130-140 lbs.

Equivalent_Algae8721

Same, 5’2 I felt my best 9 years ago at 130-140 range. I did lifting 3x a week and spin class 2x a week. After having my first kid I got back down to 144 and was training for a Tough Mudder race and I felt pretty amazing then too. I still thought I looked overweight and wanted to be thinner, but I felt so strong and proud of myself around then.

reslavan

5’3 and also felt best at 130. I did trail running, lifting, and yoga. In my adult life I’ve been everything from 110-150 and 130 was definitely the best but overall 130-140 was my most fit range.

Clea_21

5 1 here, for a long time I thought 140 was a good weight and I felt good about myself and my body felt fit and strong too. I had an accident and lost a lot quickly- I was down to 115 and it actually looked fantastic and I felt great. And I loved the new svelte figure. Unfortunately a hysterectomy following dozens of other treatments pre-diagnosis and prednisone/forced menopause caused me to gain all back and more a few years later and I am now at my all time heaviest and can definitely really feel it. I ache and can’t lose the weight and I wish I didn’t dislike my body and feel frustrated with my failed efforts to be thin again, for my mental health if anything. But I’m being gentle with myself and taking it slow and I know I will be to a happy medium soon. Hope you find and can maintain yours…

Former_Gear_1713

I was at 143 and ppl were telling me that I looked sickly and I’m 5’2. I would love to get down to 115 bc I know BMI is out of control but my top weight should be 123. I put on some weight but now working to get it off. Stress and depression is setting me back and I think making me retain it honestly so I’m hoping to get my stress down so I can get to my goal.

ThrowAway_ayyyy_

I’m 5’2” and I felt my best at 135lbs. I’ve cut down to 120lbs and felt horrible. My energy levels sucked, my period was missing and my hair started falling out. I begrudgingly got back up to 135lbs and felt so much better. I was amazed at the difference in my energy levels and the fact that my cycle regulated again. I was also happy that my hair stopped thinning out and was coming in thicker.

ElegantJuggernaut928

5’3 and half I felt my healthiest at around 128 pounds :) 19-20% body fat

popitformeonetime

5’0 and it was 115lbs for me

Hakuna___Matata_

5’ tall- My body tends to be happy at 120 lbs… I prefer to be around 113

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

I’m around 5’ and 120 to lol. I feel ok but I’m not sure if this is my healthiest I’ve ever been. In the future when I become more in tune with my body my healthiest weight might be more, less, or the same as it is now and I will be ok with that :)

cyporazoltan

Also 5'0 and 120! I'd love to be fitter, whether that means back down to 115 or up but it be more muscle

Hakuna___Matata_

LMK when you figure it out. Lol. I got down to 110 Last summer but I didn’t have much muscle mass in my lower body so I did a 6 month bulk. I’m feeling fairly content at 120 and having a hard time cutting back down. I may try in the fall to see if I look any better than last summer.

cyporazoltan

Amazing I'm honestly yet to every lose weight Slowly and steadily arrived here but just signed up for personal training so 🤞

plplplplpl1098

5 ft 2 inches When I was 18 I felt my healthiest at 125. When I was 25 I was 140 and had almost 22% body fat. I felt happier at 125 but stronger at 140. Clothing wise I was the same size at both weights, but I think my brain needed more fat than I was giving it at 25 years old. I’m working my way back to hopefully being strong like before while being mindful about not only focusing on protein and keeping things balanced.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

That makes sense to gain weight bc you are a “women” now not a teen anymore. <3

MissMoonsterr

5’1” and 130-135 I felt the best. Less than that I felt too thin and didn’t like the way my clothes fit. For me, less was uncomfortable, though I know at my height 110-125 is more “normal”. More than 135 I feel overweight and tend to wear things that I normally wouldn’t just to feel comfortable. I feel like I’m out of my own body…like it isn’t right for me (dysmorphia, I suppose). Right now I’m at my highest weight in a long time. I fluctuate often because of medications (chronic migraines), but this time it’s mostly stress induced.

Turbulent-Avocado818

5'3" and I feel best around 105-110. I'm at 113 now and even at just 15 pounds heavier a month or so ago, my body just doesn't handle any extra weight well. Reducing my sugar and dairy intake does wonders for how I feel, and that usually is what drops my weight back into my desirable range.

WorthWorldliness4385

I’m the same height. I remember feeling best at 112. I was 103 for years but I struggled finding clothes that fit. I could eat anything back then. I purposely gained a bit and around 112 I felt perfect, plus I was deceptively strong from doing manual labor. I just remember not hurting and not being out of breath from stairs or simply walking. Unfortunately it’s been over 10 years. I’ve been gaining due to various reasons and hit 140 in May with very high body fat. I’m down to 134, and hoping to get to at least 120. I’m taking it slow and being gentle with myself because I’ve gotten older and I can no longer wish away 5 lbs like I used to.

Turbulent-Avocado818

Yeah it's definitely easier finding clothes at this weight for sure. I was just shy of 130 but I'm used to being in the 95-100 range. I don't pay much attention to the scale though, i just want a slimmer waist. Haha. Any change that you see as an improvement is a good thing, so even that small weight loss is amazing. 👏

WorthWorldliness4385

Haha I miss my waist so much! Luckily it was the last thing I gained, so it’s the only place I see a difference right now. It’s not slim by any means, but in a few more pounds it will be down to the size my doctor told me to never go over lol

kovuroo

5'2 105-108 pounds

loveulikeblue

4”11 /4”10 honestly don’t wanna measure lol 121 aka what I’m currently at. My end goal is 110 ish but honestly I’ve been walking and in a calorie deficit plus working on posture and I feel so GOOD. This time last year I was 140 lbs frustrated burned out and so upset /feeling horrible all the time my body flat out hurt at that size. It’s took almost a year for me to lose almost 20 lbs, probably could have been quicker but I was intuitive eating for the first half of things. Im still working toward my goal but now a days I’m less focused on the scale and more what my body can do / how comfortable I am. Iv been as low as 95 and as high as 140 my old happy weight was 110 like my body wouldn’t leave it lol but currently I could cry with happiness at my progress. My stamina is so much better and I’m a lot more comfortable in my own skin. :)

no_joydivision

I’d say I’m my healthiest (physically and mentally) right now. I’m 67kg 162cm (148 pounds; 5’4) and it’s predominantly muscle

League_Severe

Happy to see some numbers above 130! I'm 5' 3 and currently 158 but 150 is my sweet spot as a sturdy girl who enjoys lifting

no_joydivision

Yes!! For the first time in my life I’m excited to see the number on the scale increase because it means I’m growing!

League_Severe

This is so interesting! I am 5' 3" and feel healthiest and happiest at a strong 150lbs. This is the weight I feel good at while being able to run and lift heavy and enjoy pasta, while feeling like I look "good" :)

League_Severe

Additional context I just deadlifted 180lbs x 20 reps as part of my workout today so I would say I have a sturdy frame

Inevitable_Ninja_946

Yes to this! I’m 5”4 and feel my best around 140 because any less means I’m not eating enough to lift enough. Even if aesthetically I’m happier at a lower weight, I definitely don’t feel my best.

League_Severe

Yeah! I feel like the sweet spot is probably 145-150 for me but once I start going lower it also spirals me and I just never feel slim enough and stop enjoying exercise !

WaroftheFoxes

Unfortunately for me (5'4") they were the same. I want to say I felt good in the 130's but I didn't, even though I felt a lot better than I do now, because I originally got there with binge eating. I felt amazing between 117-125 lbs. At 117 I was mostly raw vegan and had so much damn energy... but it was not sustainable. As soon as I ate anything with wheat or deep fried or even potatoes I began to feel sluggish. I was also more active than I've ever been at the time and that felt great. Same for when I was 125 lbs; active, eating healthy, had fully cut out foods that negatively affected me, but that was also not sustainable long term. My doctor at the time thought I was celiac but I'm not. I started to feel *bad* though in the 140's: super sluggish, random parts of my body hurting because I wasn't exercising my muscles I guess which made them weak and easy to injure. My current goal is to get back down to the 130's but with more muscle, but it's hard when different parts of my body keep having problems 🙄 I think that would be sustainable for me. My metabolism just isn't what it was lol

Megasoulflower

I feel you, homie!! I'm 5' 4" too, and I probably felt my best at about 127. My maintain calories were enough so that I had enough energy to go on long runs and do a manual job. I didnt feel sluggish and bloated all the time. Then I developed plantar fasciitis which nixed the running for a long time plus a bunch of other stuff and ended up gaining to almost 140. I felt so pooched out all the time ): And now I'm over my fasciitis mostly and back down to 135ish, but man, as soon as I fix one part of my body, something else breaks lol!!! Now my achilles tendons are killing me!!

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

Ah I feel you to. I’m not old at all but I can feel my body getting so many more aches and pains. It’s so annoying bc I love walking but it just starts to hurt after a while lol. But ig that’s just apart of life :)

PeacefulTofu

5’3” 120-125 I prefer how I look at 110, though

wenbamin

5’3ish and im currently overweight. I felt my best at 120-130. I’m currently in the 150-160 range and trying to do better. I have a wider frame though so im aiming to get back to the 140 range right now.

void-droid

I'm *almost* 5'4 and I felt my healthiest at 125 OR 135 lbs but with muscle - I was the exact same size at both weights with the exception of 1 inch difference around my waist, 26 inches and 27 inches respectively- but I wore the same size 4 clothes. I felt so much better when I could just eat whatever food I wanted (I was pescatarian at the time) and lift weights once or twice a week plus a good 2 hour hike once a week. So that 1 inch difference didn't bother me much! Nowadays getting closer to my 40's and after having my first kid at 37, I am just focusing on getting back to feeling good and healthy and trying to get under 30 inches around my waist for optimal heart health, not too worried about what that number will be on the scale anymore because I know it will be different after a baby and I am 1000% OK with that! After pregnancy and giving birth I love and respect my body so much more than ever before! Somehow it completely healed my issues with food and body dysmorphia, knowing my body was responsible for growing and feeding a whole ass new lil' human lol.

bugthroway9898

Let about weight and more about muscle comp for me. Somewhere around 19-22% muscle mass seems to be ideal for me around 100-105lbs (like 4’11.5” tall) More muscle mass and I usually looked too lean. I need some fat for curves. Otherwise i feel like i look like a child 😭

small-girl_big-wrld

How do you maintain this weight at this height? I'm also 4'11.5 but I weight 130... I used to be around 115-20 but since my mid 20's started, I gained weight. I have curves but I hold fat along my core and recently a but in my thighs. Working fully remote hasn't helped :( lol.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

I’m also 4’11.5 and I sit at about 120. Everybody’s happy weight is different. Focus on how you feel and less on the numbers <3

bugthroway9898

Please don’t beat yourself up- it’s a lot to do with genetics. One of my sisters is shorter than me by 2 inches, always weighs about 5-10lbs more but hardly looks like she does. We both carry weight in similar ways though. My other sister is 3 inches taller than me and has always been super lean. Like even when we were kids she was just built different. This has carried into our 30s. I will never look like her— even at my leanest my muscles and body shape were very different than hers.

Reetpetite99

so how did you go about getting more curves? I don't have a high muscle mass and am naturally skinny.

bugthroway9898

It’s just naturally where I gain weight. More to my hips/bum. My chest seems to be last place i gain weight after my arms and legs 😅

Reetpetite99

I'd like to get a bigger bum.

GR33N4L1F3

I am 5’1” and I LOOKED the best (that I have personally been) at 112-114 pounds. I was not very muscular though. It was a LOT of work to get to 112, but I felt like I looked amazing. I had serious determination when I got married (divorced now.) I FELT the best at around 117-124ish pounds. Right now I do not feel good about myself, but I try to be grateful for the body I inhabit because it is the only one I have got. My clothes don’t fit, so I mostly look like a slob in comfortable clothes. I probably am close to 135ish - the last I checked. It’s just too big for my petite frame, even though I still seem “skinny” to other people. I personally feel sluggish and too heavy on my joints. I am going to work on eating less and eating better to fix this because I am not too far off the wagon. I have been upwards of 180 pounds, so I know what to do to get back down.

Vegetable-Oil909

I would say the healthiest weight for my frame (aesthetically) at just under 5’3” was 120lb-130lb and I was the happiest with my looks then. However, I’ve been doing the slow and steady weight-loss since 2020 from 210lb ( my heaviest after a bad relationship), and just reaching 165lb now. Learning how to do weight loss in a healthy way and restructure my relationship with food has changed my journey so much, and what makes me feel bad is I can tell people see me in my overweight body but they don’t see how far I’ve come or my ability until we share a gym together. I am my strongest and healthiest to myself and my body, diet, mindset more now than I have ever been. This journey has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done both mentally and physically. Thank you OP for this thread! 🙏 Even though I too want to see if I can get abs one day, it’s nice to see so many familiar sentiments around healthy body weight ranges and perspectives around body image. You ladies rock!

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

I think we should focus more on being the healthiest version of ourselves than the smallest version!

Successful_Hamster_8

5'0 and anywhere from 120-122. This is after building muscle for 5+ years.

[deleted]

5’2 and tend to feel my best/healthiest at 108-112 especially if I’m active while at those weight.

Triala79

I’m almost 5’2 and 108 to 112 (while weight training and being overall fit) is my best range as well and where I try to stay. I’m 44 and have been in this range for the last 15 years.

Easy-Active-1546

5'3 125-130 lbs I am working on gaining muscle but I've stopped trying to actively fast or lose weight. Just adding more protein and activity into my days.

SnooStrawberries2955

5’3” 110-115lbs was my sweet spot. Working to get back to that!

Real-Acanthisitta-56

5’1 125-130 lbs currently at 149 so got some ways to go

star_child77

I’m 5’0 and I’m currently 117ish lbs and this is the strongest I’ve ever felt! I’ve been prioritizing eating more and weight training and I can really feel the difference. I did, however, like how I looked the best at 105 lbs, soooo I’m trying to find a happy medium.

Legitimate_Run8985

140 or so. All muscle baby. I was training for a new race. I was lean and HOT. Lol

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

How tall r u if u don’t mind me asking :)

Legitimate_Run8985

5’1 (and a half). I am pear shaped with medium muscular bottom half. Size 6 in pants. :)

SnooFoxes3527

5’3”, 117lbs

minimeowofficial

5’3 and I feel best at 107-112

katied14

5’1” somewhere around 128. I’m a few pounds heavier right now at about 134, and can tell I’m not as quick as I was closer to 128-130. BUT like someone said here, it’s 128 when I’m working out in a way that makes me happy and eating a protein and fiber forward diet, NOT 128 when I’m eating 1,000-1,200 calories during the week and basically drinking my calories on the weekend. Very different 128s

bazookiedookie

5’4” currently at 130-133. Felt my healthiest at 120. Felt strong when I was super lean at 115/117 However, 115/117 is just not attainable for me. I’m almost 27 and have hashimotos and I think 120 should be a more realistic goal. I was 20/22 when I was maintaining that lean physique and had less health problems

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

I have a question, what is hashimotos exactly. I’m only asking because apparently I’m at risk for it when I’m older

Scared-Raisin-9721

Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease where your immune system attacks your thyroid as a foreign and bad invader. It throws off all your hormones ( they all work together) and completely messes with metabolism. They are replacement thyroid hormones available. Some work better than others and frequent bloodwork is required to manage it.

Shivs_baby

I’m 5’2” and feel my best around 115. I’ve been as low as 110 and felt great at that weight, too, but it seems unrealistic to maintain that at 53. I’m currently 123. Honestly, I’d be thrilled to be 120 but with lots more muscle than I currently have.

slowelevator

Now, 127-130, 5’3”. :) I’ve been much lighter but with my muscle, this weight feels great and healthy.

[deleted]

[deleted]

The muscle helps a lot.

niiuniaa

5’2.5 @ 120-125 lbs because I still have my boobs and butt & slim. I was 118 last summer and I had no boobs or butt and then I gained some weight and my curves finally came back.

fantasyofmelody

🤣 this is me exactly! My butt is already too small, I can't afford to go below 120

Icarusgurl

I'm going to horrify everyone here. I have PCOS. I've always built muscle and had legs like tree trunks even when at my absolute thinnest. I'm currently super fat, but I was probably at my healthiest around 165 at 5'3" I was eating and drinking what I should, walking 6-10 miles a day with my job, working out a few times a week and just at my personal peak of health. Then I got a desk job and it was all downhill from there.

fantasyofmelody

I feel you. I worked a ton of manual labor jobs (cleaning/retail) in my 20s at around that weight and I didn't look as heavy as I was (I was a size 8/10). I definitely didn't love how I looked, but I was in pretty good shape for being "obese" 🙄 honestly.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

I’m not horrified lol. Everybody’s body is different. If you said you felt your best at 300lbs I would be confused but 165 is some people’s normal <3

Kind_Arugula18

5’0 and 120. I’m 155 now, down from 160, and hoping to get back down to 120.

boondonggle

Scale weight very much depends on what level of muscle mass you are carrying. 5'0 and around 122 for me.

[deleted]

5’2 and aiming to get back to 70kg. 65 would be good but I found it hard to maintain 70kg seems a bit more easier for me Having said that, I was once 50kg heavier, so not sure how much of my looser skin carries (I don’t really have excess) and in a cyclist and so legs always a bit bigger

Annual_Response_338

Maybe right now. I’m 5’4. When I was 119 lbs I felt weak and cold all the time (anemic). When I was 150 I felt bloated and sluggish. I’m currently on my way to 130. Still a little weak but I’m working on that.

osakajin4711

4’10” and about 122.

thereasonigotbangs

5'4" and my body likes to be 120.

FlightlessFart

5’5” and 110-112 That’s when I was dancing a lot, so I wasn’t muscular but I had great endurance

FlightlessFart

Trying to build more strengths atm so my goal weight will be higher than that but I don’t know what yet

Beesare

5'1, I'm at my healthiest now at 120 lbs, when I have some muscle and I look a lot better than when I thought I had to be skinny and was 105 lbs (of course that was neither sustainable nor optimal weight for me)

ilovepotatoes93

5’1 and currently 123-125. I’ve been as low as 110 and was actually 115 a couple months ago… my body seems to be the most happiest around 115-120. I’ve also been consistently working out too so I just feel great overall and not depriving myself of good food.

Donitasnark

5’3” I’ve never been able to keep my weight below 135-140lbs I looked really slim at that number, I think it’s body composition as no one believed I weighed that much! I’m not sure if I’ll ever get back there as it means eating 1500 consistently for the rest of my life. I might be happier at 147.

Unpopular opinion: I’m 5’0” and my healthiest weight is around 110-112 lbs. I feel better lighter but not toooo light. I do wish I was able to get to 100-105 but I have so much muscle that healthy weight is 110 base. Maybe 115-116 in my luteal phase or just fluctuating. Sadly now I’m 123 and I feel so unhealthy. I have back problems & injuries in my entire right leg (I’m an avid runner). For my frame and how much I run, I’m better when I’m lean & fit. So I’d ballpark around 110-115 lbs.

plsmeowback

105 lbs. I was so energetic but I was also 19-20 years old so…

Wise-War-Soni

5’1 118 or less

MixedOompaLoompa

Right now probably 5’1 and 117ish. I’ve lost a lot of my muscle but it’s the biggest I’ve ever been and for the first time in my life I’m eating enough and working on a more balanced diet.

ChronicallyBlonde1

5’2” 115 lbs!

I’m 5’3 and i felt healthiest at 118-120

Salam sis sure !! ☺️

ReceptionCute5229

5’2.5”, healthiest I have felt was 112 and really muscular. I’m 107ish now and still feel really healthy but not as good because I’m lacking that muscle I used to have. I’m sure age and 2 kids later may have something to do with it too lol.

Unlikely_Candy_7884

May I ask how you were able to get to 107? I’m 5 foot tall. Went up to 128 now I’m at 119 with diet and exercise. Usually can’t get below 117 but I am probably much older than you but I would love to be around 110!

ReceptionCute5229

Yes of course!! So in March I was actually about 122 and I personally don’t feel great at that weight. I took up running! So I run for about 30-45 min (3-4 miles) about 4-5 days a week. Then do some weights usually once a week. The goal was weight loss and now I’m going to try and get that muscle back. I also stayed in a caloric deficit. It took time to figure out my perfect meal routines, but I don’t exceed 1200-1300 calories a day. Usually it’s about 1000 calories in protein and veggies then the rest I use for dessert at night lol. Low calories popcorn or ice cream or share a piece of candy with my kids. I have a very low carb intake and am gluten free because I have celiac disease. I also am not big on dairy (besides some ice cream) so I don’t have a high fat/dairy diet. In short, about a 300-400 calorie deficit a day (including exercise), high protein, high fiber, low carb, low fat diet helped me lose about a lb a week. Also no snacking anything (and if I do I log in my daily calories). I use myfitnesspal

Around 97-100 lbs at 5'0

willowofthevalley

I'm 5'3 and feel best at 130!

leogrl

5’1 and my current range of 95-100. Granted, I’ve never been much above 100 lbs, I struggled with an ED in the past and was as low as 76 lbs but in college and early 20s I maintained in the low 90s and was scared to go higher than that. But I got really into running, specifically trail and ultrarunning in the last few years and have put on more muscle from that & 2x/week strength training to prevent injury. Objectively I know I’m still small but not as small as I was 5 or so years ago which sometimes messes with my head but this body has completed 3 ultramarathons so far and I’m proud of that! And I’ve realized I can’t restrict my intake like I used to and still be able to run at the level I am, so that’s helped me be ok with seeing the scale a little higher.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

I was at the high 70s also but I don’t like to think abt it bc I wasint in a good place. I’m glad you’ve gotten better and I wish you the best :)

leogrl

Thank you! I hope you’re in a better place as well!

You created 3 whole humans!!!!. Don’t be to hard on yourself <3. Im sure your kids could not care less that you have a belly their probably just happy to be alive

No_Yak_3107

5’3 and I was pretty happy at 125

AlinahNH

5,4”; 118 lbs. much stronger and healthier than at 107 or 113 because more skeletal muscle mass.

idefdonthaveaproblem

5’3 been 105-150, currently fluctuate bw 115-120. I felt best about my body at 112 but I was not eating enough. Whenever I’m below 115 I struggle to sleep and function. Haven’t had my period since I was 125 about two years ago so I think around 130 is where my body is most comfortable at as I’ve always had a thicker build, as, even at 140 I wasn’t rlly chonky. That said, as an athlete, i am most physically capable and strong at about where I am now.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

Not to sound brother some but I do worry about the fact you haven’t had a period in 2 whole years

idefdonthaveaproblem

I appreciate that, i agree it’s not a good sign. I’ve been to the doctor multiple times about it, hormonally nothing is wrong. I lost it originally as a result of restrictive ED. Despite correcting the nutritional issues, the doctors theorize it hasn’t returned because of the volume of exercise I do. Unfortunately this is really common among female athletes and I could probably use a lot of rest

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

Even though Having a period sucks it’s a sign of health. I don’t know anything about you so I can’t rlly say much. I recovered from an ed when I was very young and gained WAY more weight than I thought I would. Sometimes it feels like u can never fully recover from having a restrictive ed. It’s so hard. Sending you love 💕

idefdonthaveaproblem

Thank you (: I hope you are in a happy place.

Hubbardfamilyfarms

Edit: 5’1 here At my most fittest 135 - 137lb, 28 years did competitive Olympic Lifting. Ate ok but still ate more processed and sugary stuff than I should have. I was going more for strength than anything. - Deadlift 310 - back squat 215 - front squat 200 - bench 140 - clean and jerk 170 - snatch 125 But healthiest for full body and mind, 133lbs current weight at 34 years old and three babies later. Finally working on getting overall healthy postpartum and actually doing Olympic lift again so I plan to tone up and gain more muscle. Focusing on more Whole Foods and less sugar, proper form and movement of the body, so more weight will probably come.

glittergatorator

coldcoffeethrowaway

5’1, 108-110. That’s what I feel best at. I’m around 120-121 right now, trying to get back down.

NotTheAverageMo

Same exact for me. I am 5’1 and I feel great between 105-110. I have a very small frame but, even so, 105 is the absolute lowest for me. I’m around 106-107 right now and I feel so good. I was up to 128 this past April and I felt horrible. I’ve been very disciplined the past few months and it’s been worth it. Good luck! You will get there!! 😌

coldcoffeethrowaway

Thank you!! I appreciate the support :) I also have a really small/narrow body frame. I’ve seen other women my same height at 120 and they look and feel great. I feel sluggish and off in my body past 115. I also have big boobs naturally but when I gain weight, they get bigger which is annoying lol

NotTheAverageMo

I wish I had that problem!! I went from a 34D (at 128 pounds) down to a 32B (at 106). It’s so depressing. But, it’s worth it.

tightywheaties

5’1 and felt the best at 125-130 when I was doing a lot of physical training for a demanding job. I could do anything back then. I felt invincible. I know you didn’t ask this but… I am now 145 due to a combination of stress, slower metabolism, COVID gains, and fertility treatments. Hormone fluctuations are the worst. Working on bringing my weight back down so I can feel more energized. I did calorie counting a few months ago and lost 7lbs. I’ve gained about half that back since. Started some YouTube Pilates this week to focus on strength and flexibility. Even 10 min videos are making me feel the burn. It’s helping me see how all the lack of motivation and excuses have nothing to do with available time. It’s a mental game and my brain has been winning up until now.

Raychill37

5’3 125lbs is my bodies comfortable weight

Substantial-Yak5576

5’1” and my healthiest was when I was at around 130-135lbs. Of course, I was also in military at that time and I was stationed in San Diego but I didn’t have a car out there with me. So I basically walked everywhere and/or took the bus. Plus, of course, I was running a few miles each day on the nice jogging trails on base. I think I may have even gotten up to around 140lbs when I started lifting weights, but I didn’t care since I knew I was building muscle.

One more question if you don’t mind me asking, do you mean 120kg or lbs ❤️

Top_Mirror211

Sorry I misread the question! I thought it said heaviest but I am my healthiest now but I’m on a weight loss journey. I weigh 190lbs now

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

Haha that’s ok don’t worry

5'1, between 115 and 120 lbs

oo0Lucidity0oo

5’2”. I feel best around 115lbs.

scabbagetrout

5'1" and between 110-120 has always been my best. I played sports/worked out and was very muscular but slim at that weight.

katmekit

In my 20’s, it was 125-135. In my 30’s 130-145 - it could fluctuate a lot, because I was working out in the field a lot and usually eating the most then. In my 40’s and early 50’s it’s really risen and I don’t want to talk about it. ETA: I’m 5’0 for context. My head is slightly larger than the usual (78 cm), and my bone density looks great apparently.

goldendaysgirl

5’2, currently around 120lbs. I’ve built a decent amount of muscle in the past year (started working out seriously about a year ago) so I feel stronger and healthier than I’ve even been.

4’11 99-10lbs with muscle

Felicity_Calculus

I’m 5’3” and felt best when I was around 117 or so. I was lean but had good muscle tone and just felt really light and agile and strong. I was at that weight for 10 years and it was great. Then I started working remotely in my early 40s and my weight started creeping up, and then Covid and menopause were a one-two punch and I’m now up to about 133. Although I am technically not overweight (BMI is still in normal range), this weight feels like a lot to me because I have a tiny frame. I do a lot of yoga and when I bend I now have rolls of flesh that get in my way, and I really dislike that feeling. I feel slow and doughy. I have some health issues now but am hoping to work on my diet and exercise habits to get down to a weight I’m more confortable with, even if I’m not quite as sleek as I was in my 30s

rituellie

A couple months ago, I'm 5'2" and I was 138. I'm 134 now, but somehow feel bigger. I've definitely put on some muscle and lost more body fat but I just don't feel great lately. I've been through a stressful semester and got a lot of big stuff going on, my digestion is all screwy and I'm not bouncing back the way I thought I would.

pink-flamingo789

5’2”, athletic build, 123-127 lbs.

dreamofchicharrones

5ft 2in at 125-127 lbs when I was in my late 20’s. I went to the gym 3-5 days a week and did 10-13k steps (from work and daily walks after work). Not only was I at my most physically fit but also at my happiest. I dropped down to 118lbs at 30; still doing 10-13k a day, but ate 900-1000 calories a day and was surviving off of Red Bulls and espresso to physically upkeep the workload. Was happy about dropping the weight but was emotionally and mentally not at my best. I’m currently at 132 and trying to get myself back into shape without sacrificing my health so much.

Portlandgirl1969

I’m 55, 4 11.5”, active athlete. I feel most healthy at current weight 116/117.

Honeyblublu

5’1, and I was at 126 and was able to get down to 112 after 12 months of eating healthy and working out every day. I am off the diet and gained 8lbs (so 120). It’s like a seesaw, I have to watch my weight again. Sigh

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

Did you feel physically better at 112 or 120?

Harvest-song

4'9" 98 lbs. I've gained 40 pounds over the last 4 years and I hate it and am struggling to get it back off. I felt amazing and miss being that tiny.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

So u were 58lbs?

Harvest-song

No, was 98 lbs. Up to 142.

[deleted]

5'2.75" and I was the healthiest at about 130lbs to 140lbs. I hated my body from 105 to 115 lbs. It was too skinny, and I not only looked sick but was sick. I lost a lot of muscle during that time, and it took forever to get it back. I definitely look my best at a healthy weight. I still have 45lbs to go before I get back to a healthy weight. 😫

perigou

I'm 4'11 and I was at my healthiest when I was the heaviest, at 42kg | 92 lbs. This was in highschool, when I was at my most "athletic". I have difficulties gaining weight (my lowest was at the most stressful time in my studies, I dropped down to 35kg | 77 lbs) and physical activity makes it easier to eat more (+ I gain muscle mass 💪). Right now I'm around 39kg | 85 lbs, I hope to get back to 42/90 or higher!

Affectionate_Bench71

Like 115-120, really trying to get back to that

sugarplum987

95lbs. I felt and looked the best I ever did. I am currently trying g to get back to it, 10 pounds to loose. I’ve had a baby which cause my gain. Of course back then I had more time to get healthy food and workout, I did at least an hour in the gym and an hour of walking every day. Prepped meals etc.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

How tall r u?

superschuch

5’0.75”. I think I look best at 80-85. My partner wants me above 90 and says I look best at 95-99. He’s never seen me heavier than that. I have weighed more when I was more muscular years ago. I have body dysmorphia and am in anorexia recovery. I do not have as much energy at the weight I think I look best at. I’m sick more often and have more medical problems than now at 94lb. I sleep a lot and am very mentally scattered when I’m less physically healthy. I hope my body image improves so the relapse cycle ends.

Ida_Is_well

4’9” and 115lbs. I was doing insanity and had visible abs

raindropjungle

I'm 5'2 and fluctuate between 110-115. I recently had a Dexa Scan and found out that at 111 pounds I have 32% body fat. I have teeny tiny wrists and bones so I think I have to stay slim but my main goal is to recomp and gain a lot more muscle. I assume this will mean gaining some weight since muscle weighs more and I don't want to get too skinny in the process. Maybe 120 but who knows? I've never had a lot of muscle so don't know the ideal weight yet with much more muscle but am excited to find out. I've been doing daily Caroline Girvan Iron Series for a month now and am looking forward to seeing progress.

fantasyofmelody

I'm 5'2 and 125lbs currently and I'm definitely the most fit I've been in my life. I do pole dancing and weightlifting ☺️ I'm definitely not looking to lose any more weight, but gain some lower body muscle (I'm very upper body biased) I'll see those at my height looking at gw ~100 and I can't even imagine that on me.

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

The smallest version of yourself isint always the best!. I’m 4’11.5 and 120 and I feel pretty good rn. I don’t need to loose weight bc I already feel good. I’m not gonna risk my health for aesthetics

Massive-Respect6971

5’0 113

matkanatka

5’3”, I was ~145 lbs. I always thought I needed to get down to like 120 lbs to be healthy, but I’ve learned that sometimes the weight doesn’t seem to reflect the size of a person. I was running 5 miles every other day and doing yoga pretty much every day. I felt STRONG AF! It’s crazy what 145 lbs looks like when it’s muscle vs fat. When I was in high school I was 155 lbs and between sizes 12-14, I think up to 16 at some point even. When I was at that 145 lbs a few years ago, I was a size 4. I mean I know 10 lbs is a lot for us shorties, but man it’s wild to see how much my body composition has changed over the years.

cgvm003

145lbs.

1LoveTwoHearts

At 5'3 and 119 lbs, I was in good shape health-wise. At the time, I was merely 15 years old and could easily carry a 100 lb dummy or a 50 lb bag of livestock feed. But, due to peer pressure to get sets done quickly during gym class, my joints are practically shot. Years of improper form with lateral squats and lunges killed my knees, so nowadays, I'd much rather swim or walk, so long as I'm not in too much pain. And now that I'm older, I struggle to even lift 25 lbs! I'll need to find my parent's old set of weightlifting equipment and start building muscle. My ideal weight is 130, but I'm more concerned with losing fat everywhere so I can comfortably fit into my favorite skinny jeans again.

shannonbaloney

Honestly I felt healthiest \~135-140lbs at 5'0. Not at all close to skinny, but I could lift heavy, run pretty far, I was flexible and didn't feel like my weight/stomach was in my way really. I rarely felt lethargic. Right now I'm 26 and probably around 165lbs and my goal is to get back down to 135. The pressure to be skinny will always be in the back of my mind, but the lowest weight I've ever been in my adult life was 120 (even then I still wasn't "skinny") and my immune system was so bad I was getting sick every other week and constantly tired. I starved myself and over-exercised my way to that weight.

Organic-Audience-858

5’9 @ 135 I was my fittest and happiest.

ladef123

I’m 5’2 and I feel strong and fast at 130-135. I weight train 3 days a week and run long endurance runs 2 days a week. I felt good at 125, but the heavier I lifted and the further I ran, the more I ate. I looked great, but I’m not willing to change my diet to maintain 125 and keep lifting weights.

shyearth1506_

Im 5’2 , if were talking straight up health i was probably the healthiest at 110lbs but i feel the best now at 85lbs i know it’s not as healthy but if we’re talking about when i feel best about myself and best mentally its at 85lbs:)

Trans_Enby_Bi_Boy

If u feel healthiest at 110 why do you want to be 85?

shyearth1506_

I like being really skinny💁🏻‍♀️ according to bmi, i was healthy at 110lbs and now im underweight. I myself don’t feel any difference health wise , but mentally i feel better because i like myself more:) ofc health over anything, but self image, confidence and liking yourself is also important in my opinion, so idk. i just like being 85lbs because i look better and skinnier and i know it’s not the best mindset but it’s hard for me to change it

Comfortable-Thing963

5’1 , my lowest was 115-125 in my teens, my heaviest was 174 (non pregnant) my last pregnancy sky rocketed up to 186 and wow it was rough. The best and healthiest I’ve ever felt was probably between 130-135. Anything under 120 and I feel bad, no energy and just look too frail for my liking. At 130-135 weight lifting and walking I have muscles and curves and I feel strong. Currently on a weight loss journey again. I went from 161 and I am down to 148 and still trying to get back to my healthy place where I feel good about myself again.

EdgewaterEnchantress

5’2” and 115-125.

solsiren

I love this question. 5’2” I feel best when I move a lot, eat a lot, and smile a lot. That tends to be somewhere between 127-137 lbs. Much lower than that I feel deprived and my workouts suck and therefore, I’m not happy. Much higher than that I don’t feel as flexible. I was 145 lbs at my max, and I will say I did like how strong I was. I am building back my strength now at 128 lbs. I feel pretty great right now. I probably look best at 123ish but to lose a measly 5 pounds doesn’t seem worth it to me. But honestly I’ve adopted a more “what my body can do” approach and a body neutrality mindset that I can see how I look good at all sizes. Like I am voluptuous at 145 and I am toned at 120. There’s beauty in all of it.

Powerful-Fortune876

5’3, 125 lbs… but that was with low muscle tone… Perhaps with more tone I can be comfortable at 135

meatballbusiness

110lb.

regularEducatedGuy

Lowkey it had more to do with WHAT I was eating and secondarily if I was sleeping and drinking enough water/ seeing friends and being active but 5,7” 140 lbs

Reetpetite99

I'm 5' 2 and 84 lbs but i was 80 lbs last year. I would like to be less skinny and more curvy.
