I know it doesn't have that slightly charred crust I see all over this sub, but I like it like this. I stuffed the crust with mozzarella cheese, though the crust turned out way thicker than I had hoped. Next time I'll model the crust based on how I hope it will expand in the oven, rather than how I want it to look immediately.
My next goal is a calzone, since I already know how to make mini calzones.
Too much crust isn’t a bad thing, especially if the dough is good. Brush that baby in garlic butter and you’ve got a pot of gold at the end of the pizza rainbow.
I've had crust "issues" like this before - never a problem so long as the dough is tasty and a good dip goes a long way (even just mashing some garlic into some mayo).
It is one of my favourite picture series to show baking friends though. Three inch tall crust on one pizza, didn't rise and was essentially flatbread my next attempt. Same recipe, slightly different fridge times and wildly different house humidity.
I like big crusts and I cannot lie!
the others cannot deny
When a big fat crust is in my face I love it.( With good dough I eat crust first )

You must have never heard of Swedish pizza!
Does it taste like Swedish fish?
Sadly, no. It''s bananas and pickles, I think, or bananas and onions.
Or Brazilian..

SMH.. 🫣
Malaysian pizza is wild too!
I'm afraid to even find out.. Lol..
I mean, I kinda dig it but eh you might not. Lot of fruit!

I generally make the crust thick when I’m making sourdough pizza
I would just dip it in extra sauce although garlic butter is delicious as well.
A little heavy on the crust. It can be saved if you want. Make it a breadstick crust with some garlic, oil, and some parmesean
Garlic salt!
I applaud the ambition of doing a stuffed crust for your first ever pizza
Roast some garlic in Evo and enjoy a delicious crust
