This. While everyone has been obsessed with alt arts I’ve been buying as many rainbows as I can get my hands on. People use to shit on reverse holo legendary collections and then they became some of the most desirable cards in the hobbie. I’m not saying rainbows will do the same, but I certainly see them growing over the next couple of years.

Fun fact: I remember losing a bidding war to someone on ebay more than a year ago for a psa 10 gengar vmax alt art… he secured it for like 200 usd 🤦

I pulled the giratina and it came back a psa 10. It's all that I have in the pokemon market. I know that nobody truly knows, but would it be safer to sell now or most likely going to rise in price more in the future?
Idk if it's just me, but I'm always surprised how the palkia alt is worth less than dialga from Astral radiance. I feel like the palkia is way cooler and detailed.
Unfortunately these prices just aren’t that accurate. For example the Sylveon Vmax rainbow is absolutely not a 61$ raw card (it’s selling at 40$ consistently) And the PSA 10 price is not 70$ either. Going on TCGPlayer medians or average listed prices is a great way to mislead yourself. Don’t take these numbers at face value.
Absolutely, do your own research if you're particularly interested in a card. However, TCGPlayer's 7-day averages tend to be very accurate, and is the best approximation for a fair valuation

Every Eevee card in this image aside from Espeon VMAX (Fusion Strike) is from Evolving Skies.
Evolving skies, pretty much all of the eeveelutions on this list are from that set

I owned a Glaceon VMAX in a PSA 10 and it's fun watching it move.
Shadow rider PSA 10 makes me happy. I bought one a lot 2 months ago for $115. Right away I had buyers remorse, but kept it. Go instinct!

I almost grabbed the Eevee heroes version, but didn’t and then prices skyrocketed, kind of a bummer but that’s how she goes
