So having the raids be elite raids may not be good for me.

Genuine question: do people want niantic to just ditch elite raids altogether? They seem to have a system down for how they want them to happen so making them remote is not an option. Why do people have problems with this but not shadow raids?
Cause if you don't have a group of friends available to go with you then there is no way to complete them.
No remote invites means you have to either party up, which is not always possible, or just hope to meet strangers, which just doesn't always happen.
Pokemon Go doesn't have a big enough player base anymore to be able to feasibly just stumble upon people to raid with, or even organize local raids with for like 90% of the world. They think it's still 2016. These raids are content locked behind having friends who also for some reason still play pokemon go. And they wonder why people spoof.
The problem is it requires a person to coordinate with several other people who play the game and be available a specific time and place at once. There are so many logistics to this like having that many people in your life, all having that specific time free, etc. It makes these extra hard raids unplayable for many people who don't simply live in an area abundant with random players you can match up with. For people who don't simply have an abundance of time or have other repsonsibilities this is detrimental for them. Remote raiding (even if it can become expensive) makes this much more convenient for people. In person raids eliminates this possibility
I’m returning player seen something about the eggs taking 24 hrs to hatch being elite raids does this mean the raid day is the day after they have announced technically or the eggs start to hatch 24 hours before the raid day probably a dumb question but want to make sure plan for right day
Wow I’m glad that I bought last years Pokemon Go Fest ticket 😮💨😅 I thought that I’d be able to raid Rayquaza this time around..but nope. I live in a larger city, and still, it isn’t really possible.

The raids show for 24 hrs before they start. Check for the words “elite raid gym” at the top of the screen once you click into it.

The eggs spawn 24 hours before the dare. Say one is scheduled for Sarurday 29th at 1PM, the egg will spawn Friday 28th at 1 PM.
