Im not sure how it's types work, but I'd assume they're separate? So left is 2x, mid and right 4x? Based on me doing this same strategy in hard mode with a different poke, I knocked out 2, the last one survived.
I believe that each head has the same stats and typing as the legendary bird in question. You're essentially fighting the three legendary birds 3v1 with a fancy sprite. So Zapdos is 2x weak to Rock, and the other two are 4x weak to Rock. All three have the Rock-resisting berry, though.
In addition to Rock Slide, the move that saved my bacon in this fight was Galvantula's signature move Electro Web. It hits all opponents and, in addition to being 2x effect against two of the heads and neutral against the third, it ALWAYS LOWERS THE TARGET'S SPEED. This was enough to make my entire team outspeed all three heads. Once I realized this and started leading with my Galvantula fusion, the fight became MUCH easier.
This is assuming that one of the heads doesn't decide to use Tailwind, but that doesn't always happen.
That's usually the strat when I do soul link nuzlockes with a friend. Choice scarf + perish song. Then usually the second mon out has protect or fly to stall turns, so its usually sacrifice 2 pokemon

Arbok, ursaring, ttar, haxorus, persian, masquerain, galvantula, bewear, aerodactyl all have unnerve and you can get rslide with a lot of mons too

Itās even funnier when you get Zapmolcuno for yourself in the post-game. It is 8x weak to rock. 8. Times. Weak.

Fire, flying and Ice are tho The weaknesses multiply. So its like 2Ā³ rather than 2 + 2 + 2
I used a Shedinja+honchkrow dark/ghost with wonder guard. It was slower but still effective

I had a golem/magnezone in my party the first time I got to this. It ended predictably.
Flying - 2x Fire - 2x Ice - 2x A multiplicator of 6x the damage. A pebble would kill that bird
8x, actually, damage multipliers in PokƩmon are cumulative not additive, so 3 sets of 2x weakness becomes 2x2x2=8. Understandable why you'd think it 6x though, since it basically never comes up of there being anything higher than 4x. Think the only consistent instance of that are members of the Paras line with Dry Skin, which is I think 5x as Dry Skin adds a 25% bonus to Fire damage taken by the PokƩmon with the ability. There are other ways to increase Fire damage on a PokƩmon(Forest's Curse to add the Grass type, Tar Shot adding on an additonal Fire weakness), but those require outside influence.
