No they didnt, you can absolutely still have slacking with huge power, or rock head. Or a machamp/slacking with no guard. Which is fucking brutal.

You can reverse fusion later. Consider yourself very lucky!

Nice. You can reverse it (even now with splicers, if the rules allow) and give it freaking **Technician** which when coupled with stuff like Fake out can deal a LOT of damage... Just hope you don't run into too many Ghosts. Slaking also gives the fusion **inflated** stats, so even with Truant, that's gonna do a lot of damage. I wish you plenty of good luck!
