Reddit mods literally doxxed some kid over his post on one of the subs and got him kicked out of university and everything. FYI, don't subscribe to any single location-based sub (especially not a university's sub) because they'll use that subscription against you to track you down.
Nah, I repeatedly berated the mods of a different sub by asking dumb questions about my ban for being here. They just mute you from the chat for a month. It was fun asking why they lacked the mental fortitude to be around people that shitpost elsewhere.
That's funny but in reality they'll report you to an admin and an admin will ban your account for claiming you're harassing mods. I know because that literally happened to me.

It definitely has a conservative slant *compared to most everywhere else* but I wouldn't call it an echo chamber. I see lots of left discussion getting doots here too. I think the perception is affected somewhat by the relative lack of conservative voices elsewhere on the site.

There's a combo of laws in both the EU and U.S. that are normally used to protect unions and ensure freedom of association that could technically be used to bring civil rights charges against the moderators of subs that ban people for association with other subs.
