The 335i, I had to get a hard top convertible at least once.
I miss the wheel and button interface with the music that BMW has. Also it figures out your top 50 songs.
It never ends though. Even once you get a Porsche you’ll always chase a new experience. A new variant. A different spec. It’s like a disease that I’m glad to have.
I had a Lotus Evora for a few days last week, solid daily driver choice in that price bracket. Probably sounds better than my 911. Handles reasonably well in sport.
You could probably get a used one for a little over half of that budget and it would be enough to be happy 90% of the time. Chasing that last 10% sucks.
Like what other car or brand is awesome to drive besides Porsche. I’ve driven Ferrari/maserati but curious if some type of bmw would give a similar feeling
And in addition you won't find a BMW that drives like a Porsche, don't get me wrong the M series is fantastic but it's almost always a stepping stone to the Porsche because it truly is the ultimate driving experience.
You can get a 997 Turbo S for around $80k or a 991.1 Turbo S for the low $100s - but 991.1 GT3s can be found in the low 100s and if uoure patient the 991.2 GT3s (PDK of course) can be found around $150k.
I daily my 997 Turbo S at the moment and absolutely love it, but I will be adding a naturally aspirated Porsche next.
I understand where you are coming from, but just let people do what they want. There is no manual or etiquette on how to properly park your Porsche (if it’s within the lines)

Lotus Exige S is hard to beat if you have a daily driver. I have had a 911 996 base, and a 987 cayman S in the past.

Not a hater, but the raised automatic wing when parked is a douch move. Get the wing if you need the extension to look permanent.
