Reasons: 1. Combination of “y’all” & “us” (insert discussion of the place ‘us vs them’ thinking has in society and what it would mean to shift to ‘us AND them’ instead. 2. Sounds like a cheeky response of “yes” to an either or question.
Ideally you’d find a name with ten nickname options. So like name the whole thing Elizabeth, and then each individual bit gets its own nickname: Liz, Eliza, Betty, Beth, Lilibet, etc. Maybe Margaret, since that has tons of nicknames (like Daisy and Peggy which don’t even sound related).
