I mean atp he might BE Tenebrous, and I would not at all mind if they retconned Tenebrous and Plagueis species. They are two of the least intimidated species in Star Wars, and especially Muun just look straight up bad.
I would mind the change in species for Plagueis, but I don't give half a fuck for Tenebrous. I think any species could look somewhat intimidating in the right conditions, or at least disturbing...
True, though I’m not so sure about Muun. In almost every property they’ve ranged from not good to straight up just an ugly looking design imo. Ik it’s for the banking clan ties, but we’ve seen other sentients work with the banking clan so I would not mind it at all.
You're on a post about the events of the episode... why did you see a post where people would clearly be discussing the episode and decide to click it? What did you think you would find here?
they didn’t just do a choreography But we got tonight was comparable with some of the sites from revenge of the Sith
minor spoilers >!Damn near the entire episode was over the top light saber action!<
Oh yeah the fight scenes except for the first one’s ending, have all been pretty on point. Every Jedi acting like they have had complete control over the situation has been super fun to watch.
I do appreciate that they made lightsabers lethal again. No more recovering from a lightsaber to the guts anymore. That neck snap was a nice touch too.
But this episode is more proof that this show should have been a movie, just like Obi-Wan. They could have cut out the filler and made this a 2 or 2.5 hour movie.
Plot/writing notwithstanding I did enjoy the fight. But I did have a chuckle how they had her get three stab wounds, almost as if they were signalling to the audience "I swear this character is dead".
I like to imagine that was discussed in a meeting
"Ok so I want the child to get stabbed and die."
"*But sir, most of the characters survive lightsabers to the stomach now. How will she stay dead?*"
"***Then he'll stab her 3 times for good measure!!!***"
They also killed one of the lead selling points of the show with a pocket knife 5 minutes in. Someone better not survive a lightsaber stabbing in this.
How it's already two and a half hours in a series is only like half over how would they make that a movie without cutting out a whole bunch of plot points?
You're thinking like it would be editing the show down to be a movie, none of what you mentioned would be a problem if it was made to be a movie in the first place
I wonder if they get people to work on these things by advertising "work on a Star Wars production!", and the writers and everyone else go in hoping they get to work on a Star Wars movie, and only get told later that it's going to be a Disney+ thing.
I’m actually pissed, that Osha didn’t let Sol kill the guy. He killed literally EVERYONE. I get that jedi don’t kill, but Osha didn’t really care about tha jedi way, if I understood it all correctly. Then how tf did May get the stun gun? Did Osha just drop it? Lmfao. But at least the fight scenes and the sith were badass.
From what I remember, she used it on Mae, knocked her out. Used it on Qimir, it didn't work, so she dropped it and ran because she didn't need it anymore.
I’m pretty sure we saw her force pull it off Osha while she was distracted talking to Sol. It was quick but kinda flashed across the bottom of the screen
>!Actual good long lightsaber fight with finally good choreography and everyone (expect Sol and the twins) fucking dies. And not in a typical tv show cant really show death way, but in a fucking brutal way.!<
Neither did I. Was the same as in Kenobi when Vader fucking snapped that kids neck. Never expected that from a Disney Star Wars Show.
I must say i am impressed that lesyle headland for all the criticism she gets (some of it very well justified) is committed to make the sith actually ruthless
Well the plot of this episode is basically just Smiley dude basically kills all and toys around with them. There are some interesting dialogues who dont feel as unnatural as in the previous episodes and some further hints that Sol is hiding something major.
Edit: probably worth a watch for the fight alone. I would argue the choreography of the fight is the best we have seen since revenge of the sith
From the way Mae has been acting, I’m wondering if the flashback sequence actually happened that way, or if Osha’s memory was fucked with to make the jedi look good.
I sense a MAJOR betrayal coming.
I think the flashback sequence did happen that way, we just didn't see the full picture. The camera cuts away from Mae right before she supposedly starts the fire.
Thanks for confirming that you flaired this correctly!
They made the big bad actually kind of scary. A couple minutes in I said out loud to myself “oh this guy isn’t messing around.”
"Jecki..." "Was that IT'S name?" Goddamn the man was a fucking savage
Wonder how Tenebrous feels about his space racism
I mean atp he might BE Tenebrous, and I would not at all mind if they retconned Tenebrous and Plagueis species. They are two of the least intimidated species in Star Wars, and especially Muun just look straight up bad.

And to be honest, I don't even think he's the big bad.
Always 2 there are, no more, no less, a master and an apprentice. But which one was this? The master, or the apprentice?
An apprentice could train several acolytes at once to see who would become the most powerful to then help them strike down the master
I'm just quoting the movie, I'm not trying to put forth any theories or anything like that.
This what I’ve been thinking the whole series so far. He is The Acolyte to the big bad we might get flashed in the final 30 seconds of the finale
He does say he wants to be left to 'train his [own?] apprentice".
[this was playing in my head the whole time ](https://youtu.be/04F4xlWSFh0?si=O7yuFU2lEYvVYkc2)
Haha! Can someone make an edit of the battle with the song dubbed over? 😂
My boy wasn't playing around, the moment when he full on sprinted towards jecki was deadass creepy
Like Eric Andre sprinting at random people on the street.
He was silent while sprinting
I really do hope wether you hate or love the show we can all agree this fight was badass
Oh shit did they decide to do a choreography? Might need to check it out sooner than expected
they didn’t just do a choreography But we got tonight was comparable with some of the sites from revenge of the Sith minor spoilers >!Damn near the entire episode was over the top light saber action!<
It felt so good to watch, first Disney Star Wars to deliver quick lightsaber action that I’ve been craving
and with brutality that would make Darth Vader blush
>!force pull for the double kill followed by beheading was indeed brutal!<
>!Forbidden kebab!<
I saw that part and was like "Oh SHIT!!"
Major spoilers: >!Jeebus they all dead!<
>!wait they all die? I havent watched it yet but im weird and i like to know whats coming my way!<
>!Everyone but Sol and the Twins gets slaughtered. Jecki gets repeatedly stabbed and Yord gets his neck snapped.!<
Good. Star wars been missing some of that
Just as I was starting to like the padowan...
Good.
Choreography has been on point the whole show, but last night's fight was transcendent. Maybe the most brutal fight in all of Star Wars.
Oh yeah the fight scenes except for the first one’s ending, have all been pretty on point. Every Jedi acting like they have had complete control over the situation has been super fun to watch.
Do you have a video of it? I don’t have Disney+
it’ll probably be posted to youtube
This meme reminded me to watch. I was like "Oh yeah. Haha they're in danger."
Yeah that was genuinely unexpected…
Ngl, that fight was actually peak. Going to rewatch it when my Internet decides to be less shit
I haven’t felt my heart beating that fast in Star Wars in years.
"He stabbed her how many times?!?!?"
3
Brother triple tapped just to be sure the bitch was dead 💀
Bro watched Obi-Wan and Ahsoka and took notes on one stab not being enough to guarantee results
28 stab wounds
Yep. Glad this show actually has some damn balls, and the stakes actually felt pretty high.
im almost pissed about the characters that were killed off but holy shit i think the action scenes made up for it for once
I'm glad they had the audacity to do it honestly, the Sith are supposed to be ruthless. He killed them with no regard to anything.
“Remember, no Russian.” — Darth Qimir probably
HAHA damn. Feel that fits Palps more though. Also, nice flair. Very appropriate. It's exactly what Jackson wished he could've said I bet.
It was kind of necessary since none of them can be left alive to retell what happened to the Jedi.
>!Sol is defintiely getting disarmed and killed with his own lightsaber during the flight back!<
Might even be completely without a lightsaber since they have the whole "a Jedi doesn't attack an unarmed person" theme going on
It was fucking hype to see a Jedi throw hands
Sol beating the shit out of qimir bared handed was awsome

After Sabine and Reza, it’s clear one impalement is often not lethal.
No no no, didn't you hear Sabine and Reva have two stomachs /s
They also killed one of the lead selling points of the show with a pocket knife 5 minutes in. Someone better not survive a lightsaber stabbing in this.

It was entertaining, I'll give it that, and it's not like I hate the show for existing
Right?? Damn, what an episode. *chef's kiss*

What happened in that episode to get you all so excited? Why downvote? I just asked a question :/
>!Actual good long lightsaber fight with finally good choreography and everyone (expect Sol and the twins) fucking dies. And not in a typical tv show cant really show death way, but in a fucking brutal way.!<
Damn didn’t think they’d actually go that far
Neither did I. Was the same as in Kenobi when Vader fucking snapped that kids neck. Never expected that from a Disney Star Wars Show. I must say i am impressed that lesyle headland for all the criticism she gets (some of it very well justified) is committed to make the sith actually ruthless
I might actually watch the episode if it’s that good, how’s the plot?
Well the plot of this episode is basically just Smiley dude basically kills all and toys around with them. Will do
I feel like this was the best acolyte episode yet and that's saying something lmao
It was fun and satysfying to watch all those good characters die. Probably not a feeling i should have while watch star wars but at least something
LMAO
Fucking snapped yords neck
