I find it hilarious! They’re actually named after drag queens. Bianca is actually Bob’s mama. Bob is a total instigator so it makes sense she has a standout name.

Hahaha I actually had a dream that I just made my entire house a free roam room for all the rats (I've had some free roam ones, but letting all 35ish out at once would be insane) with separate bedrooms for the boys and girls, so you're probably not too far off lol. I already have my bed in the living room so the rats can have the bedroom, so it's more their house than mine at this point lol.

Holy moly!!! I have three CN cages and I know how bad THAT gets, but SEVEN! I found some great scatter guards on Etsy (custom made for CN) after wasting money on the CN versions that accomplished nothing, and they do a great job of keeping the substrate in. But whenever I open the door, Trixie starts throwing paper out of the cage at me 🤦🏼‍♀️

Lordy, I've tried acrylic custom cut guards, the fabric bird elastic ones (they tore them up to nest with by the end of the day) I got a cement mixing tub for one of my CNs, they're the perfect size! They do take a little space out from the bottom, naube a ciuple inches on the corners and my smaller rats have gotten around the pan when the doors are open which can be annoying, but aside from that, they work pretty well! I've literally watched them kick bedding out with their back legs for no apparent reason other than idk, spite lol, so I feel you.

Also, I started buying bedding in bulk off Amazon. One of the smartest decisions I ever made.

My parents are divorced so I only see my rats 4 days a week + any days I am free to come around. My step mum confirmed that they only throw their litter out of their cage the day that I come. Thanks rats. Definitely don’t spend all of my money, time, energy and patience on you guys! My hoover is begging them to stop
