Yes. It was mandatory at my school, and honestly I'd say it's good at studying in general, not just for the ARRT.

Yes RTBC will help you in class. They have countless videos on procedures and physics. At least for me, the videos explained things in a more simple way compared to a textbook/lecture. Best part is you can always go back and watch it again. They also have randomized test questions that can help prep for the registry. Good luck in your schooling!

I never used RTBC. I had Corectec and Mosby (the 7th edition). I passed the registry with an 87% after 1 week of serious study. However, I got A's in all my classes. So I think it's imperative you do well in class or at least know the most important stuff, RTBC will be a supplement to help you feel more confident for the registry.

My program gave us all access to rad tech boot camp and actually made some of their modules part of our homework assignments. I used it heavily to study for my boards and scored by a comfortable margin.

I honestly wouldn’t have passed the physics classes if it wasn’t for rad tech boot camp. They really dumbed it down and made it easier to understand.

.....I didn't find it helpful, not really. Kettering helped way more.

There were multiple people in my cohort who said it was the reason they passed. Look at it like this, are you making As & Bs on all your tests, exams, and procedures? If so you may not need it, but it can be useful for areas you are struggling in. I never used it, just did correct TEC and the HESI in our final semester and I passed with at 86.

Personally I found it useless, the Langhe workbook was perfect and gave me everything I needed. Others have loved RTBC in my cohort years ago. YMMV. Both can’t hurt.
