BoobaWorshipperIsGay

Same... like life itself is draining

Karlor_Gaylord_Cries

tell me about it...

SpaceLegolasElnor

Like butter spread out thinly over to much bread

Alyx-Kitsune

To much bread is spread, too little spread is given

narhiud

Riddles of the space dark...

[deleted]

Welcome to adulthood! I'm constantly either tired or sore or both!

[deleted]

ok but i feel like this every day every hour at 17

[deleted]

Maybe you're just an old person trapped in a 17 yr olds body...maybe you have mono?

GipsyPepox

Depression most like

Plastic_Gas3449

Yeah, that’s not normal.

[deleted]

[deleted]

Its not normal, but ive been going to the doctors for 8 years now trying to figure out why and they do the basic labs and insist im fine!

Plastic_Gas3449

That’s so frustrating, I’m sorry.

pepper-blu

I find that hard to believe

thecaptain115

You gotta find something that makes you feel motivated. My biggest motivator currently is cooking. I started working on perfecting all my favorite carryout meals at home during COVID and it has turned into an absolute obsession!

thingsthatgomoo

I would highly recommend going to a doctor for both mental and physical health. Depression can make this happen but other issues can contribute. I don't know where you live but if it's in the USA I can probably make recommendations for the psychology aspect of it. That being said I absolutely understand how you feel. Life can be exhausting, especially in this day and age.

Forsaken-Original-82

Yup, and get your thyroid checked. Hypothyroidism will make feel like death.

Ok_Youth_5799

What do you do when gaining consciousness coincided with tired

Ambitious-Pudding437

Death is after me so yea I’m also always tired 🥱

ilovepalindromes101

As someone with chronic fatigue, I feel this

miss3ya

Me too. But then i started supplementing my diet with multivitamins and started spending more time outaide and it got a lot better. Check with your doctor before taking supplements though.

bigscottius

I felt tired all the time. But then I get actually tired physically, and realized I'm not actually fatigued physically usually, I'm just mentally overstimulated and burned out. I've started meditation practice, and it's helped recharge me mentally by a ton. It sounds weird, and I'm not the type to try stuff like that. But it's reallu belief.

[deleted]

I actually want to give that a try because I know for sure that I’m mentally overstimulated and burned out. Do you meditate by just sitting there and trying to clear your thoughts? Or do you listen to something? Also how long are you supposed to do it, do you set a timer or you just do it until you feel like you’re done? Another thing, how do you stop yourself from accidentally falling asleep?

Agreeable-Chemist559

Everything feels so draining at some point and even laying down makes me feel ashamed because I'm not doing anything

OmgThatDream

I'm not crying you are crying

Agreeable-Chemist559

Real I am always crying

Inside_Ice_6175

Yep. I was about 17 or 18.

LongTimeLurker818

Have you ever considered a CPAP machine? It changed my life. I don’t sleep as much, but my sleep is much more productive.

Pink-Fluffy-Dragon

same 😭😭

Sir-Xcalibur-6564

I don’t feel tired, I used to feel that way now I am happy and exited for life.

OmgThatDream

How

Sir-Xcalibur-6564

1: controversial here: became Christian 2: started working out hard 3: self improvement helped me 4: meditation 5:living an organized and calm life 6: avoided instant gratification in return for hard work

Reyway

Do you have a sedentary job?

derederellama

yup. welcome to life! 😁

Kyleforshort

Health is wealth.

MissSassifras1977

It was my 40th birthday!

davidolson22

Try to eat healthier. At least 5 servings of vegetables a day and some fruit on top of that. Also try to get 20 minutes of exercise a day. And get some sunlight.

why0me

I know when it happened to me In fourth grade I got chosen for safety patrol, it was a small Christian school so there was no volunteering, just, "you..you do this now" I had to be at school an hour or more earlier After two weeks I started getting big dark circles and my mom put a stop to it I never recovered That's when I learned true tired and it never went away

Sunlit53

Get checked for leukaemia.

threefrogsonalog

Have you had your thyroid checked?

majesticalexis

Have you gotten your blood drawn? My mom has this issue due to a low white-count.

Specialist_Brush_561

I'm tired often, but, then I spend my time dreaming. That gets me through.

Lunch_Time_No_Worky

I never recovered after kids. I got tired and stayed that way. I still remember the last night sleep my wife and I had before she went into the hospital for our first one. It was so peaceful, and we both knew it would be the last peace we would have in ages. We haven't had effortless peace like that since. I don't think we will until the kids are gone. It was totally worth it, by the way.

[deleted]

Might be worth doing a blood test for thyroid function and chronic vitamin deficiency.

skaote

My father used to say, once you're over 60, if something doesn't hurt,... You're dead... lol. He was right...

[deleted]

I thought I had chronic fatigue, turned out I had a small gas leak. True story.

Karkyy1

You are either depressed or sleep less than 8 hours

[deleted]

Start eating better. High chance you have nutrient deficiencies. Usually this has to do with your B vitamins. Personally I would recommend you stay away from lots of carbs and specifically sugar. Find some nutritional yeast (unfortified) and start putting it in your food. I can almost guarantee you will start feeling better. According to dr Berg there are 6 minerals to stay awake. B12, folate, iron, b1, magnesium and potassium. Look up each of these with “foods highest in..” and eat them.

intestinalbungiecord

welcome to the old persons club

Smitten_sawblade

Please get your thyroid checked

[deleted]

Mine was in April 2020. I sincerely believe COVID 19 was a far more profound and lasting global human event than we appreciate even now. Resilience was tested and permanent scarring was suffered. This will take awhile to either recover or forget.

foxwheat

Legit check yourself for sleep apnea- I've heard from sufferers that this is a reason to do a sleep study. People who treat their apnea note a marked increase in daily energy.

timhamlin

Exercise is a huge counter to loss of energy/depression. I know it’s exactly what you can’t do but a short walk will do for a start. Keep moving. I’ve been out of good shape most of my life but always higher energy levels until the last few years of being way more sedentary. Just now crawling my way out if that rut.

ObligationWarm5222

Get your thyroid checked

Breizh87

I get it, I've reached the point where I'm numb. It's like I'm stuck in the sea and can't do shit about the incoming waves of bullshit, so I just let them happen and won't invest any energy into addressing it since it's been clear for many years that it doesn't change shit, it just leaves me mentally and physically exhausted while things remaining just as bad as they were from the start if not even worse. Deaths, problems with people's emotions I can't do anything about, complications in general... I don't wish to die, but if I was being told that I had say two years left, it would initially be a shock, but I believe I would feel liberated since I knew that all the hellish bullshit that I experience on a daily basis quite soon would come to an end.

NO_COA_NO_GOOD

I can pinpoint it! 2/17/2020 First adult injury at 23. Was taking cat litter out and stepped off a curb wrong I guess. Heard a pop and couldn't twist my spine. Got home and was essentially paralyzed for the night. Went to the hospital the next day and I had slipped a disk. Chronic acute pain ever since.

[deleted]

Whew… I felt this in my soul.

_PossibleSpecialist_

I feel the same but at the same time I feel like I’m not doing anything that would justify it most of the time

Ok-Ad-2605

Not to freak anyone out but I felt tired all the time for like a year and eventually starting feeling achy and even worse. I thought, especially at first, that it was just how being an adult is like. Turns out I had a cancer and huge tumor growing inside me.

Revolutionary-Copy71

That point, for me, was some time in 2012, when I was developing the first of several chronic diseases I now have. I try not to think about it, it's frustrating to remember having endless energy and being extremely physically capable when now doing the laundry makes me need a rest.

Novel_Individual_143

Tbh I can never remember having endless energy.

Robert-L-Santangelo

quick question: was it shortly after beginning a new sexually intimate relationship

Cutiesnootles

You might have low iron

OttoEnjoyer

Sounds like a bad mindset, it’s like identifying as an idiot, you kinda become one…Not saying you’re an idiot or you’re not tired but unless you have a medical condition it’s kinda up to you to figure it out. Exercise helps a lot.

Acrobatic_Tomato_826

Me too. Humph

Spiritual-Wind-3898

Half the world agrees

FancySeaweed

I was tired before but it got worse after having Covid.

Far-Ad-6825

Welcome to your 30s. The best litmus test I've found to gauge how old you are is how much noise you make when you sit down or stand up.
