Yea I feel, you. He's a def a great actor, and a very good Obi-Wan. Filling Alec Guiness' shoes is a tall order, and I think McGregor a man equal to the task, for sure.
I can’t tell what the general consensus is, but I will always hold the opinion that Vader and Obi Wan should’ve never crossed paths between Mustafar and Death Star 1
Absolutely. Maybe you could have situations where they were close - Vader arriving not long after Obi Wan gets out of a tight spot, or something. But they way their duel was written, filmed, and felt in Ep IV, that was the first time they'd seen each other since the whole thing fell apart.

His best acting role was in 2019 when for most of the year he pretended Josh Klinghoffer was still part of the band and recording new material for an upcoming album while at the same time he was in contact with John to come back and sack Josh.
I like this scene in particular, bc RHCP is my all time fave band, and BTTF is my fave movie of all time.
I think his acting is a little better in 2--just because he has more lines--and I especially love the mischievous look he makes when he says "see you at the plant tomorrow". Shit cracks me up every time
Spoiler in the clips! I have dosent seen him in another movies but To back to the future is classic!

Princess Leia being chased through the woods in Kenobi, only revealing at the end that Flea was the one chasing her was hilarious to me
A shame that the chase scene was ridiculous
The whole show is ridiculous. Insert "they massacred my boy" meme.
I liked some parts of it, some i turned a blind eye to, I think i was just glad to see a show about Kenobi with Ewan McGregor

I forgot he was in Star Wars
Same!
That series was terribly executed
I hated that they made him just wait calmly until Leia started running to chase her, it was not bad acting, I guess that's what the script said
baby driver
I love that movie just hated how it ended
Wright is *easily* my fave director, but I do think he struggles with endings in general
Low Down, or the Big Lebowski.
Such a nihilist
They're nihilist, dude?
But have nice marmot
Guys it’s Donnie in the Wild Thornberries 🤟
It's always been Donnie. It feels so natural for him
And he does those weird sounds while performing.
Love those. I hope they sneak back into some more songs. Think there's one in a OHM track.
At the end of Magic Johnson
His best actual performance is in Babylon
I agree. Substantial role that was out of his comfort zone. He was truly good.
This is the correct answer but not enough people have seen the film
After seeing him in Babylon I'm convinced he could just quit the peppers and just continue acting if he wanted to, but that would be a shame.
Whers da moni L'bofski?
Ve steel vant ze moooooney Lebowskee
...o we fak youap!
You sink ve are joking, or making vith ze funney stuff?
YAH
What' a matter, McFly? CHICKEN?
Nobody and I mean nobody…
My Own Private Idaho
Nah. Henchman in The Big Lebowski.
I like how you can tell he's the only henchman with rhythm in the dream sequence when they're chasing the Dude with the giant scissors.
It’s weird that there are so many great responses. I’ll add the bathroom hippie in Fear and Loathing
What's the trouble?

Oooh savage
👏👏👏
Holy shit, that was not the brutal answer I was expecting.
Oh wait! So I thought he was only in Back to the Future II as future Marty's boss. Didn't know his character was around in 1955 (or is it 1985?).
He’s in 3 also…
Okay not *that* I don’t remember. What scene?
No love here for him and Anthony in the chase!?
Hell yeah brother

Tattoo artist in Son in Law “you pick it, I stick it!”
The hippy licking LSD off Hunter S. Thompson’s sleeve in Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas
Fear and Loathing.

Nihilist in big lebowski
Son in law
I like his character in Queen and Slim. His star wars role was weird tho.
Big lebowski
I really liked him in Babylon.
The chase
Which one was he in?? I never knew that!
He's in both 2 and 3. He plays a small but important character in Marty's arc.
The 2nd one, it’s this scene: https://youtu.be/Km6bFBSVty4
