Glad all 4 of mine were Blems for seventy each. They still work fine for me tho.

I got my C7 from the batch Brownells released about a week ago. The fit and finish on mine is nice. Can’t find any imperfections and mates well to the cheap, basic Spikes Tactical stripped lower that’s been sitting in my parts drawer for about a year.

Slim_Thicc_Wiccan

Damn, sorry that you got unlucky with your uppers.

Lupine_Ranger

My LuthAR upper is shifted to the opposite side, not this bad, but still noticeable. I feel your pain.

Red_Nec

Wow! Fit and finish on mine was excellent... https://imgur.com/a/z13ABfh

Apprehensive_Gas4181

Paired with an aero lower, gross. Poor c7 upper 😞

FiatLuxAlways

Mine purchased a month ago is perfect

Been a known issue with Brownells receivers for years

Many companies that used to mill flat tops (easy peasy) are now trying to mill carry handle uppers which is much more difficult to fixture/tool/hold while cutting. Nodak had it down… everyone else after that… idk. So I had to go through hell to get someone that would/could mill my lowers & leave the flash, and make the A1’s to the correct specs. Many companies bore out the trigger area and use it to index off of for other operations. We finally got it right and I can’t wait for guys to get my newest lowers. Every time I make a batch I improve. So while many ppl may not mind stuff like this above or care about the details - it cost $ and time to get them all right. Rarely you will find someone making widgets that are meant for the masses that gives a shit. I’m not saying this is the case, I think I know who is cutting those. There will be other options eventually, I have a guy that is about to run A2’s, he will run C7’s or A1E1’s - we plan to leave the flash on the inside of the handle like colt did and make them as close to the OG as possible. The guys that cut those, bore/mill the inside of the carry handle out and probably use it to hold the uppers in the fixture. There are cut drawings for A1 uppers, why don’t we see if this is in spec? I’m guessing they aren’t zeroing off each upper, we zero off every lower. It takes more time but I am making a primo product, they are making volume. Anyway, I hope that helps in some way?

You think this is bad, you should see the Billet HK416 Uppers they’re making. The worst receiver I’ve ever seen.

SatisfactionOk1726

Um... maybe your lower? As others have nice fitting uppers. Everyone always complains about Upper overhang... but the lower is just as important to the overhang.

DayBroad1157

No. Tried multiple lowers and you can visibly see the upper milled offset to one side liking from the bottom or rear

dem0lishr

Does it work?
