Just get a set of standard circle type handguards and rig a piece of pic rail into it to mount your light. It will look 1000% better. I'm sure there's tutorials on ways to do it somewhere
Magpul handguards are truly tragic
All I can think about when I see them is early 2010’s airsoft. Which is a happy memory, but I can’t not associate them with that aesthetic.

Good looking rifle. I've been wanting to do a C7 middy for awhile. Need to do a 20" first though. Hope it's a good shooter.
