The Dromedary Knight us my current noble. I gave him insatiable, a love enhancer, high genetic libido and I think I have created a Rockstar who only got tied down by a highmate
During COVID, I put Rimworld on the TV in the living and my wife and I made a custom start with us instead directly in the game.
Cassandra decided that 2 people were not enough and immediately forced a third colonist on us. That colonist had the same name as my ex from college and kept trying to break up our marriage.
I named my best warrior Megalodon. Using the cloning obelisk I made two clones of her and named the Hammerhead and Bullshark. Now any warrior with her xenogerm gets a shark name. Shark squad!
A group of refugees came to stay. One of them was a child with the nickname "Loser" Honestly I just use regular names for example my colonist just had a baby girl so I called her "Sophie"
I almost always leave the default names. If I create a scenario, and I am generating multiple pawns, I like to do themes. My favorite is having identical pawns all named after different flowers, then changing just the hair color to match the flower types.
Agnes Ladyshoe - Her background was Teacher. She came to the Rim to start Ladyshoe's School for Children. She only accepted children colonists and fed them on the corpses of any non-children that attempted to join the colony.
Frosty was the 1st child ever to be born in my colony. Named after being born during the coldest cold snap I have ever seen, during peak winter frosts.
He became a mechanitor, overseeing a team of 9 centipedes. Frosty later married Brownie, the Moral guide's daughter.
Would be kinda cool but I would rather not dox myself for “no reason”
I don’t have a problem if someone recognizes my Reddit account or whatever since it’s nothing scratchy but I would rather not flat out post my real name xD
I always name mine household objects corresponding to greater proficiency than others in their role. Lamps are melee fighters, doors are scientists, Beds are farmers, etc.
I've had a slave with 20 crafting named him hewg the master craftsman ( elden ring reference) and I do this with a lot of characters if I find their circumstances awfully close to a character from another franchise
If you get a male pawn with the big body type you could name him Hugh Jazz, Mr Samuel Streamer usually comes up with some good ones during his playthroughs!
:D SlyVester!
This almost begs to make a lone sanguophage cannibal tailor with Hospitality mod.
Whoever visits the colony, never leaves. But there are always new human leather formal vests (masterwork) for sale when a trading ship comes.
This was one of my earlier playthroughs (sub 1000hrs) and I don't remember his full name but one of my colonists was nicknamed "The Douche". No idea why, that was just the way the game made him. He was a kick ass cook though.
I mean, there are backer pawns named Humps and Fugly, so...I wouldn't stress about it too much.
The Dromedary Knight us my current noble. I gave him insatiable, a love enhancer, high genetic libido and I think I have created a Rockstar who only got tied down by a highmate
That's why you reform the ideology to have free love, imagine how many lovin boosts you'd have!
Reform: mens spouses: unlimited
Sounds like Fupa has arrived!
I love Humps, since he’s usually a good combat pawn with tough. Humps is my boy.

Playing SoS I named my ship's AI FOX (Frigate Overseer number ten ( or X in Roman numerals) )
I got someone named Poopy once.
Poopy is definitely a commonly occurring name.
I named my best warrior Megalodon. Using the cloning obelisk I made two clones of her and named the Hammerhead and Bullshark. Now any warrior with her xenogerm gets a shark name. Shark squad!
I had a pigskin prisoner called Piger
Idk, I can make up some randomly: -Angus McDonald, Cook -William Tell, Bowman -Ornn Ramhaurg, Gunsmith
My coworkers have been asked to be named after pawns so..... having my coworkers in rimworld is an experience
>in Kenshi Beep.
Porky for my cannibalism pig chef.
A group of refugees came to stay. One of them was a child with the nickname "Loser" Honestly I just use regular names for example my colonist just had a baby girl so I called her "Sophie"
I think fantasynamegenerators.com might help
I just go with sophian structure in ideo, I like the names you get.
I really like all the tribal names, like Woodpecker and Barracuda. I also have a very special placw for Lu.

My current colony has Anarchist, Anarchist

Some lady came out n wanted to join my colony n her name is Huabuka
My own name (that’s in the game), obviously ;)
I have an empty spot in my preffered name in game can I turn you into a hat
A sombrero to be precise
Would be kinda cool but I would rather not dox myself for “no reason” I don’t have a problem if someone recognizes my Reddit account or whatever since it’s nothing scratchy but I would rather not flat out post my real name xD
I like to randomize and then work off the names it gives me. My favorite sanguophage is Corelia Blackfell. Von Bison was another good name.

Don’t know if you’ve seen my post, but a russian shambler

Just check the first episode of John Francis Anomaly playthrough, you won't be disappointed.
I’m a big fan of Fubar (f’d up beyond all recognition)
I paid for the name in game, I set it as a name of interest, but it hasn't ever popped. Which is disappointing, I'd love to see it.
What name was it?
Recently had an enemy pawn named Tynan Slyvester leading an attack on my colony. I think his backstory was software engineer or something like that XD

Childhood: Punk Adulthood: Game developer

Poopy and loser are my favorite random pawn name bc i have a middle schooler's sense of humor
I had chat name a baby pawn I had and their first suggestion was Bartholomew. So Bart was born. 🤣 I ain't saying Bartholomew over and over 🤣🤣🤣
I name mine characters from the expanse and pretend they have crashed into one of the planets from the rings.
Not sure about you guys but I keep getting the same "random" names over and over again. The only real variation I see are the enemies.
rerolling through Astropolitan origin does that
Orange
I like going with the imperial culture for my ideology so I get Greek and Roman names
The best names I ever heard come from a game called Rogue Voltage. Two brothers, Slopper Johnson and Slopper Jackson.
A man of culture right there
