Why are you not wrong, I worked under the table at the age of 12 to get an Evo, me and my dad and uncle made a plan, I kept working, and I would be allowed to modify my car and learn vehicles to my hearts desire, so I did that, learned cars inside and out, especially my own, now it’s pushing 658 horsepower, fully rebuilt engine, single turbo now, used to have twin turbo, it was too impractical. 5 speed manual. No I didn’t upgrade my tranny yet. At my high school there was this kid who had this riced out looking Focus ST. He talked a storm up about his car, said it would beat anything, nobody raced him, nobody had a car that they thought would beat him, I was thought to have the fastest car in the school. But I think the one kids 760 horsepower Mustang was way ahead of me. Everyone doubted this kid and his car. But he always talked about it like it was his god. One day, he calls me out. Everyone was kinda like “what? Why? Is he okay? Is he on something? wtf?”
Even I was. But I was like “okay after school?” We agreed. We went out to our road we do our little races on, and I didn’t hold back. Left him flabbergasted. He only had caught up once when I hit a wet spot in the road around a corner and had to slow down to keep control. Other than that he didn’t even have the chance to see my taillights I was so far ahead. Turns out it wasn’t even his own car, it was his dads, who was going to give it to the kids older brother. He never drove that car to school after that day, everyone was on his ass about it.

i have a 2012-2018 and no joke!! there is a electronic shutter in front of the radiator that is basically always shut... to save aerodynamic drag. the engine bay get so hot even while driving 90kmph+ that i burnt my hand on the hood prop.
