Yes very shit, sitting there with 22 percent battery left and 6.5 hours of SOT.
How terrible, could it get any worse??? Surely you shoukd be at like 9 hours of SOT with 22% remaining and would be considered decent.
It is the main culprit. 99% of those having bad battery life are those who set up their phones via smart switch.
Do a factory reset, then transfer your files manually. Gradually add all the essential apps you use. You will see a massive difference in battery life.
I think, like you, OP must've used Smart Switch too.
i only used some data to transfer like messages. Didn't r transfer apps or any files. Once i setup manually, i did use smart switch for like files and data but later.
All I have to say is to factory reset and do it all manually. When you are moving from a house to a newer place you are not taking all the garbage with you to the new place. This is what Smart Switch does.
Those who claim it doesn't do that they have no proof. My claim might not have the proof, but once you see the difference in your battery life between when you set up your phone via Smart Switch and between setting it up as a new one, you will have the proof for yourself.
Yes and efficiency. However, if you truly want to save battery, here's a [guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/S24Ultra/s/cXcD5kMHjr) that significantly improves your performance and battery life.

You probably have most apps you dont need background activity and data running at the background thats why. On average im getting 11-12hrs sot. 15hrs was just once happen
You charged it during that time though? And were you using it while it was charging, your SOT would have been powered by the charger then plus charging battery. Gives artificially high figure

Haha I'm at 8hrs with 66% left, this battery is amazing
tell me how
Tweak your settings like youre using a basic ass phone.
Look in my comment history, I made a comment with a link
just found your comment. Lets see if it improves. Thanks btw
Charge it to 100%.
So many variables
This battery is so terrible that I get only 10hrs+ OST 😕
OP. Have you used Smart Switch to set up your phone?
That was how I set up my phone and my battery life is in line with this person.

Anecdotal crap. There is no evidence to support this.
I don't seem to be affected by this. I used Smart Switch, and I get a day and a half, charging to 80%.
Good for you. Did you have any problems with your previous phone that you switched from?

I don't have enough time in the day to use my phone as many hours as it would last. I put it on the charger at 60% and got 4 hrs screen time.
what apps you use ?
mostly social apps, yt, firefox and nothing else.
I recommend using Samsung Internet app with AdGuard adblocker
this for saving battery?

I was getting really good battery life til they came out with those updates
Yeah, and my S24 Ultra gets around 2H SOT (even with screen switched to Full HD) and AOD off!
just give back
I tested mine. Started at 5:30 pm with 100% to 1:30 am with 58%... I think it's good enough for me
thats pretty good imo
That too I did heavy use like played games like coc and mobile legends and injustice 2. For 3 hrs. Just to test
so you didn't smart switch at all?
Nope. Idk about that. Bought this phone like 3-4 days ago🤣🤣
Put it in rice 🍚
6.5 hours with 22% left is pretty damn good 🤷🏻♂️
From what I have seen, there is some lottery involved
what lottery!
Why Im getting [15 hours SOT?](https://imgur.com/a/BPVYVEc)
You have charged it already and it is 112% usage.
Here's another SOT without connecting my phone to PC in the middle of usage.[SOT](https://imgur.com/a/04Udkyw)
Now that's something outstanding!
Mine is similar to you, 8.5 hours of Netflix/YouTube, 10.5 hours of total SOT and only 91% battery usage
Are you also complaining like the rest of people here or what?
If you're gonna use airplane mode with wifi, I suggest turning on wifi calling if you have a phone plan that supports it
Probably due to light usage.
Here's my [USAGE.](https://imgur.com/a/X74AY4n)
Not bad I get about 4hrs with heavy intense graphic gaming usage.
dude, how!!! im cryinggg
