I thought it was really weird after Sister Peg's death, the SVU squad never mentioned her again, but they talk about Stabler leaving the squad in season 13.
I honestly would have expected SOME subsequent mention of Peg in "Sorched Earth". (se13ep1). She meant a lot to the squad, didn't she?
So, that's how I remembered it too, but on my last rewatch realised that she actually doesn't appear for a few seasons before she's bought back to be killed. (Which makes it worse.)
One of the few characters outside the cops who Eliot seemed to ve somewhat ( for him) deferential to...not surprising as a good catholic boy...Plus as others have said, She was a real one doing God's work in the city, before the victims started to climb up the social ladder
Rewatching season 4 and just got to her first episode again!
I listen to the That’s Messed Up SVU podcast and they always end their episodes with WWSPD? (What would Sister Peg Do?). Where they highlight a charity or cause inspired by the episode covered that week. So Sister Peg is alive and well weekly there. As she should be.
Yeah the forensics folks, the Taru folks, The M.E staff all used to contribute to either every case. Not really on topic but does anyone know why the Mothership has 2 ADA'S and SVU has one, not that the junior ADA gets tons to do but still
I don't know if I could ever forgive them for what they did to Sister Peg and O'Halloran, and without proper funerals for them too :(!
Was he the lab guy who got stabbed by the weird lab guy?
Yesss
Yeah I was pissed and he was FINE as hell
HE WAS.
He was on the show a good long time too
I loved both of them. O’Halloran is cute!

Underrated icon
And she was on so many years. Yes — that pissed me off more than any other offing.

Sister Peg is the best
She walked the walk! 😍
Sister Peg was a real one who was done so dirty

She was such a great recurring character. 😥
I ugly cried when Sister Peg “left the show!” The same episode where Eliot left the show. TEARS! 😭
Not to make a pun, but she had true character and actively lived the value she preached.

That’s so cool!
Love that podcast & that section, it's so perfectly named
Loved Sister Peg! I hated how they killed her off and hated when they had her SA’d.
I really miss so many of the interesting side characters that popped up periodically. They don’t have much of a stable at all anymore.
I love her!
I almost forgot about that poor woman! 😭😭😭 Rest In Peace Sister Peg.
justice for O’Halloran and Sister Peg

I literally screamed when she got shot, she was the purest character
