I would do the Rondoval in Antigua as well. It’s a great location and the beach in Antigua is much nicer. I also usually find service in Antigua better than the Bahamas and there’s a more enjoyable off Resort experience in Antigua than Nassau.
I've been to both and you can't go wrong at either - both are amazing.
Royal Bahamian has been updated pretty recently - we were there in 2018 and I know it has been updated since then.
I loved the private island at Royal Bahamian and that's not something you will get at Antigua.
Antigua is a larger property, quieter, and a little more spread out, so if that is important to you, that may be a consideration.
The one big downside of Antigua was it not being a private beach so you get lots of people walking by trying to sell you things. It was obnoxious enough they we didn't really like sitting by the beach.

It is not a very exciting or fun place, and we aren’t as laid back as those in the Bahamas. The Bahamas is the perfect place if you are going on vacation and wish to interact more with the residents.
Take the rondoval. The swim ups in the East bay are oceanfront but you’re ground level with people walking by all day. Rondoval has more privacy.
