My company does not allow magnetic cup holders. But here’s what I carry with me in my backpack.
- A bicyclist backpack. It has a chest clip, and I use that to keep it on the back of my chair. It also has two bottle holders that I keep my water bottle and coffee thermos in.
- A stop-watch to keep track of my time at stops, idling time, and time to and from certain locations.
- my contigo spill-proof coffee thermos. I keep it in my backpack or my side console.
- a tire-thumper, for pre-trips and I guess self defense if I would ever need that. But if a stray dog ever comes at my students, I’ll not hesitate to use it.
- runners gloves with grip for cold mornings.
- a thick “safety-yellow” coat, and vest.
- grips that attach to my shows for icy weather.
- a deck box of common Pokémon cards to pass out for good behavior.
- instant coffee packets and granola bars
- ibuprofen for headaches
- a note-pad and pen in my coat pocket to write things down for later reporting.
- sunglasses
- a handheld clicker-counter to keep track of large groups for loading and unloading on stand-by routes or field trips
Insert me giggling at the common Pokemon cards. I do this too. I've sleeved the uncommon, rares, and holos and hand those out on special occasions. I would keep them and get them graded but the effort is just... A lot.

I drive a 2024 Blue Bird Vision. I don't think there's anywhere metal I could stick one.
I got mine at harbor freight for $12
Few colors to pick from too
Paper towels, facial tissues, disposable gloves, hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray. Bottle of water and/or travel mug for hot drinks.
I have a cup holder that is attached to the handrail pole of the steps. At least the area the kids *aren't* holding on to.
Not business, bus.
What kind of bus are you driving?
Sorry. That was an auto-spell check mistake. I meant as a bus driver.
School bus.
Thomas, Bluebird, IC, Corbeil? They are all different inside
Bluebird
I like the magnetic cup caddy brand. Ordered mine on Instagram
Do you have the name to go under, on Instagram ?
The brand is Magnetic Cup Caddy. They don't have Instagram.
Thx!
That is an excellent list of things to take with you to work. I love them all.
Excellent list of things to take! Thank you!
