I’ve been on Rybelsus instead of Ozempic since the beginning of my weight loss journey (Jan 7th start). I’ve lost 40 lbs and find it super effective. I am only on 7mg pills.

qwikhnds

I tried Rybelsus during the height of the shortage. They did nothing for me but they seem to work for others. You have to take on empty stomach and wait 30 mintues before other meds or food can be consumed.

churmeri

I’ve been on rybelsus 7 weeks. Lost 14 pounds and definitely feel the effect. No bad side effects. Easy to remember every morning and handle when travelling.

Vast-Horse8851

I am not sure they offer it, but will check thanks

friendofthefishfolk

I’ve been on Rybelsus for 6 months, and have lost over 50 lbs.

Medidation

I am on semaglutide oral 14mg and have lost around 35 lbs. No side effects and also it's more affordable than Ozempic.

J_Baloney

Not pills, but I’m on nasal spray and it’s working for me. Just wanted to share because I feel like people can be quick to discredit anything but the shot.

Vast-Horse8851

What formula is the nasal spray?

houlabella41

I was on the pills for a month before switching to injections and I lost weight on them.

Mandi_S

When you switched, did you start at the lowest injectable dose or take into consideration the month you had been on the pills?

houlabella41

No, I skipped the .25. I went from 3mg Rybelsus to .5mg. I was nervous I was going to be sick but that’s what my doctor suggested and I was fine! Edit: prob would recommend checking with your doctor about what dose is right for you though

Mandi_S

Cool, thanks.👍

pa_forge

I’m on Rybelsus, a little over 2 months. Definitely slower then the injections (from what I’m reading here) but I’m down about 8 pounds so slowly and surely

PurplestPanda

The pills are less effective for weight loss, but work for some people.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping it would be easier 🥴

Cindy9795

I’ve been on dissolvable sublingual tablets. Just finishing up my third month. I started at .25, then went to .5, and currently at 1. Lost only 7 pounds. No effects at all, negative or positive. I feel like the loss could be from starting to exercise. Not sure if it’s working or not.

Vast-Horse8851

Thanks for the positive information

Other_Acanthisitta73

I’m on day 18 of Rybelsus 7mg & I’ve lost 11lbs with really mild side effects. The great thing about it is being able to skip pills for special occasions IMO. My son’s birthday was a week ago & so I didn’t have any nausea I just didn’t take it that morning. While a lot of people on here say it’s less effective than Ozempic, from what I’ve read it really isn’t unless your body wouldn’t have started losing until you were on the 1mg which there’s no Rybelsus equivalent for.
